    French Fries Yaroa

I love this place! I come here often or order from uber eats! The passion fruit is always fresh tasting, the tequeños always looking good lol. I usually get yaroas from here as well, i get it with french fries/chicken and it is really good ! I never get the green sauce (garlic cilantro sauce or something like that) because i feel like its a little too much but aside from that 5/5 rating :)

Literally a hole in the wall, but this Venezuelan spot is awesome for takeout. The food is flavorful, serving sizes are filling, and everything is always fresh. The shredded chicken cachapa is my favorite, chicken seasoned nicely, the cachapa soft with a slight crisp every time, and fresh lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Get extra green sauce, you won't be sorry. The Venezuelan chicken empanadas are really good too. The regular empanadas are not too great though so try to stick to tradition menu options.

This is the best spot for comfort food...HANDS DOWN! The whole menu is delicious but my absolute favorite was the Cachapa. The shredded beef with the cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and smothered in special sauces inside a sweet corn cake is to die for! All the flavors come together perfectly and make you drool for more. The Yanki Burger is so so yummy and flavorful! MUST BRING CASH...but an ATM is available if needed! Don't forget to pair your meal with a fresh passion fruit juice!

Everything we ordered was good. We ordered something from each category and were not let down. The yuca balls were a family favorite.

Every worker was amazing. The empanadas were the best I've ever, ever had. Crispy outside. Great filling to ratio. Seasoned well. Not oily. The flavor was soft and delicate. The sangria was delicious. I highly recommend. The blackberry margarita was outstanding. Almost had a hint of a michelada to it. We ordered the platano relleno. Definitely order that. Again the best one I've ever had. Sweet, fresh and the juxtaposition of seasoning to meat and cheese and plantsin was beyond delicious. They also have good Columbian sodas. The apple and cola weren't overly sweet. The pork chicharon ceviche was again the best I've ever tasted. The chicharon here is impeccable. The onions weren't soggy and weren't potent. The blended well with the citrus and chicharon. The bandeja paisa was outstanding. Every protein was cooked perfectly. We ordered steaks that were juicy. The veggies amazing. The cgar grilled tasted yes. Theres an onion and tomato side I could eat plates with the rice. Thats how good it was. The guava and apple empanadas were like fall in the mouth. Well be back. Everything else was phenomenal too. Mango, chicken. Xoxo.

The cheese sticks are a must when you visit. They are perfectly breaded, fried golden, crispy on the outside and melty on the inside. They come out hot, stretchy, and exactly what you want late at night. Their empanadas? Fire. The beef is juicy and packed with flavor, the chicken one is tender and well-seasoned, and that pink sauce... yeah, that sauce is elite. Creamy, tangy, with just enough kick to make you keep dipping until it's gone. I also ordered the chicken cachapa -- soft, slightly sweet corn pancake, stuffed generously and cooked just right. It's comforting, filling, and hits different when you're craving something authentic. Also on a late night on Dyckman, doesn't get better than this. The juices are fresh and refreshing, the perfect balance to everything savory. Service is quick and straight to the point, exactly what you need whether you're grabbing takeout or sliding into one of the small tables to eat in. The spot itself is small and cozy, no-frills, real neighborhood vibes all day. Overall, this is a classic Dyckman late-night Venezuelan staple. Great food, quick service, and flavors that always come through. If you know, you know.

This is a family run restaurant where the food is prepared from high quality ingredients, made with love, offered in generous portions at reasonable prices. The customer service feels like a warm hug from a loving family member or friend. Nicole is the queen at Sazon Stizzy- working with her grandmother's recipes. Her friendly husband and charming son work "front of house" taking orders, processing payment, and offering warm hospitality and professionalism. Every bite I have tasted here has been incredible. My current favorites ** (I am sure they will change as the menu updates and new specials rotate through) are the chaufa egg fried rice ( really good with a protein), the mac attack mac and cheese and the honey garlic boneless chicken. The salom was also really good - what would make it 10/10 is if a cooked vegetable could be one of the side offerings. I LOVE that they already have a green salad as one option for a side, and I would absolutely love a cooked vegetable to enjoy with my salmon. Thank you Nicole, Joseph and your entire team

Trust me-- every single bite will leave you in food heaven! For our meals, we ordered two of their Build Your Own "Large Size" meals, which comes with two proteins and two large sides. See below for all the details! MEAL ONE: I ordered the salmon and stewed pork chops for my mains and the mac & cheese and rice & beans for my sides, and I must say it was yummy all around. Seriously, I'm not kidding when I say everything was mind blowing! That mac & cheese -- wow, it is 'slap your mama' good.... and probably the most butter I've eaten all year but worth every bite. Likewise, the salmon was out-of-control good! As for the beans & rice and pork chops, they were tasty as well and rounded out the meal nicely. MEAL TWO: Tony had the fried chicken fingers, creamy garlic chicken, French fries, and rice & beans. He loved every bite as well and, after I begged him a few times, reluctantly let me taste a few bites. So I can also attest his choices were yummy all around, too. The only other thing we ordered was a dessert of Dulce Du Leche to share. There are no words. (Note I quickly downed the entire thing and only let Ton have one little bite.) Trust me: Order this, and you will also inhale it. Final thoughts: We DEF be ordering from Stizzy again... and again... but maybe not too often b/c eating too much of this amazing food could lead to Type 2 Diabetes if not eaten sparingly. Oh, and next time, we'll be picking up our meals to save the extra cash charged by food delivery services.
