As far as the service, they are all friendly and attentive. We ordered cheeseburger and bacon egg with cheese empanada tacos and the chicharrón de pollo with Moro . The empanada tacos are split down the middle and stuffed with fried cheese, sweet plantain and lettuce topped with special sauces: green and pink. But the BEC one comes with a special sauce that sweet. The highlight of the chicharrón plate is the salad. The dressing is so good and simple. I love it! There's notes of lime and vinegar. It only comes with the plates. Oh, I also tasted the cheeseburger empanada. The thang was filled to the rim and fried to perfection! I also had the new dessert. And I loved it. It was served cold with layers of vanilla cake, cool whip, thinly sliced strawberries and apples. It was fresh and light served in a perfect amount. Oh, there was also a bit of jam in there. It was good! Hands down better than the birthday cake empanada.

Had to order our usual 4 pernil tacos, tostones extra sauce with 2 chinos. My order is made fresh and staff is incredible. Definitely a lot of love in the food. I was so messy eating it but that's what happened when it's sooo good... Got a nice table to sit down right next to the truck.

This spot feels like it's quietly stepping into a much-needed role as a high-end date night option…read morein an area that leans heavily casual and family-friendly. The crispy octopus easily rivals anything I've had in Manhattan, super tender with just the right crisp. The cassava hash browns were so good I was almost annoyed by how simple they were. Paired with a rich, meaty sauce and a fresh fennel crunch, the whole dish was incredibly balanced. The wings were the most straightforward item on the menu (in the best way), lightly spiced, slightly sweet, and great for picky eaters. Someone needs to give the bartenders a raise. I ordered three drinks just to test consistency--every single one was balanced, spirit-forward, and not overly sweet. The presentation was different on each one and felt intentional without being gimmicky. I've seen some of the lower Yelp ratings and they mostly call out price, but this is very much a you get what you pay for situation. The quality of the food, the portion sizes (especially for this level of execution), and the overall intentionality behind the menu justify it in my opinion. Service was excellent. They squeezed me in last minute, and my waiter, Dionicio, handled my coconut allergy (not easy at a Dominican spot) with real care and ease. The space itself is worth mentioning - moody, mushroom/mossy interiors. Super cute, very well thought out, and definitely a place I'll be coming back to.

I noticed the 1 star reviews are because of the price. So I'll start from there..this is a high end…read morerestaurant, therefore the prices are VERY high. The drinks could really add up to your bill fast! Taxes and gratuity are included. I always suggest to take a look at the menu and their website to see what to expect, I already knew coming here that it would be expensive and I was ready. I made a reservation online for my daughter and I and it was a very smooth service from start to finish. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The drinks are worth every penny! They are made just right and it brings a lot! I ordered a lychee martini which I couldn't even finish after my meal, I forgot the name of the other drink I ordered but it was HUGE and delicious, I added a picture for reference.i ordered the oxtail samosas which were soooo goood, seafood on fire LITERALLY , and the coconut cod croquetas. For dessert I got the dulce de coco Enyucao which comes with vanilla ice cream on top, passion fruit caramel, cassava as the base and shredded coconut cake roll. The server then comes and pours a very delicious "sauce" all around it making it a beautiful experience by itself. This dessert is enough for 2/3 people. The ambiance is very cozy, trendy and refreshing. It doesn't feel like you're in the Bronx at all, it gives luxury vacation energy. The place is great for pictures. I recommend you take a cab because parking during the evening will be horrible, there's a lot of popular bars and restaurants around the area. I noticed they have changed the menu, they have taken some things out and they also change the presentation of the drinks so you might want to go directly to their website or to their Instagram to get more updated visuals of what they are currently offering. I came here last year during the spring If you want to try out their food and drinks without having to pay their gratuity and other fees, you could just order directly from the website for takeout

Although…read moreI have heard horror stories about the food, I have been lucky enough not to have had experienced anything negative or disgusting, thank God. Sometimes I order over the phone, through GrubHub or just take a shot 5 minute drive to the restaurant and order takeout in person. One thing's for sure, no matter what time of day, they are ALWAYS busy and it can take a minute to place an order but NEVER have I been treated rudely or belligerently, you just have to to be patient. The food in my opinion is always delicious. I am a creature of habit and rarely order anything different. One thing is for certain, the chofan, Dominican fried rice, is absolutely divine, just like I would get when I lived in the Dominican Republic and equally as flavorful as my aunt makes it. So is their morir soñando, a drink mixture of orange juice and milk. It is my absolute favorite drink and always bings me back to my childhood. So in closing, this is one of my favorite Spanish restaurants and over the years I haven't noticed too much of a difference in food quality and service, other than in prices. Yes prices have increased, but you have inflation and the rising cost of food to thank for that.. Thank you to the management to providing consistently good food and service.
