I asked for a large pour over and the staff looked confused. I always ask for a pour over because it's just taste better! I know it's more work and slower most coffee staff act the same everywhere when it come to a lil extra customer service! She insisted on giving me regular coffee! I said I asked for a pour over lol ! Whatever Coffee was ok ! Crumbs everywhere and trash was full It wasn't that busy to do the little things you get paid to do! Customer Service is something we've lost from generation to generation! Easily the best coffee I've ever had. I usually order a large latte with oat milk. There are a variety of pastries which are homemade in house. Try the scones, they are to die for. I thought the breakfast burritos were pretty small, not much egg or potato, but lots of peppers. I've had better. read more

This is such a cool coffee joint up in my area. I love the coffee and they have great prices. I love having a coffee place on my way into Abq for the early morning drive. The only recommendation I would offer is having two windows for the drive thru, one to order and one to pay and pick-up. It would make the drive thru line go a lot faster. read more

Having a coffee shop of this high caliber in the mountains near Sandia Peak is a life saver for coffee fanatics everywhere. The next closest coffee shop worth a damn is 20 miles away! My favorite is the Cortado that makes anyone who had spent time in Miami smile. Fresh baked goodies baked daily by the fantastically friendly owner and staff are yummylicuous. Ok some constructive criticism...there is a veterans/LE and first responder discount of...ahem...25 cents...not 10%...25 cents... Yes that's 25% on a $1 item and Yes, "something is better than nothing" but its such a minuscule amount to offer as a "perk" on a normal $5 to $10 order it ends up sending a negative message to all LE, first responders and vets. Please consider changing this to 10%...youll make it back 10X in tips buying a little more customer loyalty & satisfaction...the bigger discount the higher the tip! Last thing...please add coffee ice cubes in your iced coffee...its hot and normal ice just dilutes your yummy coffee...I will drive 20 miles out of my way for coffee ice cubes in my iced coffee!!...kick it up a notch and you'll be even more awesome as a coffee shop...it's all about the details. Bottomline solid coffee shop. Stop in for an espresso, the Chai is the best/most authentic I've ever had outside of India...and have a pastry...take in the mountain views from the outside seating and then check out the shops nearby. I've gone through the drive-thru here a few times, always quick service, not the most friendly but it's drive-thru so I didn't mind. For the first time, I walked inside today. I was expecting a better experience with this face to face interaction. Nope. I immediately said hello to the employee walking toward us, she looked straight at me, completely ignore my greeting & continued to put away some milk. Directly in front of me. We waited patiently, then she walked toward the register slowly, still without making eye contact. I say hey again, silence. We stood there for about 3 very awkward seconds & then walked out. I called & asked for a manager because quite frankly I felt straight up disrespected. There was no manger available but the person taking my message was very receptive of me sharing my experience -- until i mentioned the simple *fact* that i was the only person of color in the entire shop. Quickly he began to interrupt me & suddenly she was just a "15 year old with social anxiety" -- so why is she at the counter? Seconds prior, this person was thanking me for calling & sharing my experience. But me mentioning my "skin color" (as he put it) was too far & my experience is invalid now? Alright. read more

Shay was not only a delight to get to know but she's an efficiency master! Besides making delicious coffees & teas she kept the place clean, organized and running efficiently! We recently moved to the east mountains and I was SO happy to see a local coffee shop right on the way to the freeway. We stopped in the same weekend we moved and were so pleased not only with the coffee, but the staff and the fresh-baked goodies as well. We typically stop in 2-3 times a week and it's consistently good. On busy weekday mornings, there can be a wait for fresh brewed coffee or espresso drinks, but it's well worth it. To top it all off, the prices are stellar, especially for a small locally owned shop. Definitely a better choice than Starbucks! read more

My daughters and I tried this place for the first time a few months ago. It's amazing! The coffee is fabulous and they make their own chai fresh and have natural lavendar sweetener available - SO good. We have also tried the blueberry muffins and the breakfast burrito - both are delicious and the burrito is wrapped in a tortilla made fresh that day, which really steps the overall quality up a notch. We've had very efficient and super friendly service at every visit. In particular, we tend to go on the weekend and have gotten to know one of the regular weekend workers, Kaley. She is an A+++ and goes above and beyond - she even writes positive notes on my bags of ground coffee I get to go:) Thanks! read more
