To go order, Ben White location. This was really odd. I haven't been here for awhile so maybe this is the standard now:( but this is really ridiculous. There was basically nothing in the veggie quesadilla and the tortilla was dry. What is going on? Terrible. I'm starving because there was no food inside the tortilla. Can I get a refund, please? read more

Just opened in the neighborhood and I had never been. Loved the number of employees working even before closing. A long line that moved quickly. Got a bowl and liked the options that I can't get at the "other" bowl/burrito place. I have been back and already filled my loyalty card once and am working on number two! Really glad it's here in SW Austin. Can't wait to bring my wife and dine in. I think she will like the beach theme. read more

FILTHY this place was absolutely disgusting. No one cleans any of the tables. There were chips ALL over the floor and soda and food all over the tables. It was absolutely disgusting and was honestly such a horrible experience eating there. If you're reading this, take your food to go it's not worth eating in such filth, or go to another location. Food was gas though read more

First time eating Cabo bobs and will NOT be the last. Idk about other locations but this one has it going on!!!! Food was delicious! Staff was very friendly especially the cashier Cooper. He was great, always in a good mood and made a lasting impression. Manager was awesome as well. read more

The food from Cabo Bob's is delicious and the ability to tailor each order to your taste makes it even better. The portions are huge and the prices are fantastic. Every employee was pleasant and welcoming. If you're in Austin, definitely stop here for an incredible meal! read more

This is a beautiful establishment. Cabo Bobs deserves a Michelin Star. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The food is amazing, service is fast, and they don't scam you with small portions. Chipotle has nothing on Cabo Bobs - Cabo Bobs is superior read more

If there's one thing they've mastered, it's consistency-- especially when it comes to overcooking the white rice. Everything else is great though! read more

Delicious, friendly service. Our first time in. Loved the cucumber mango pico and the sauces they offer. I didn't get to snag a picture, we stopped in for a quick lunch on our way back to the DFW from San Marcos. read more

Similar concept as Chipotle but seems to be even bigger burritos and has different types of flour tortillas eg. cilantro, ancho Chile. Another big difference in the selection is they can do crispy fish in the burrito. Again very similar to chipotle but just a little extra! Seems to have a Baja California vibe to it with all the surf stuff everywhere. Def worth checking out, and well worth how much their burritos are! read more

Food great!!! Burrito wrapper we had not so good. Shaped more like a ball than a burrito. When we asked her to make it longer and less round she gave us a wired look and said it would break. Keep in mind we said that because she had just made a ball burrito that busted. Guy next to wrapped a great burrito! read more

Although there's a line every time you go in, it goes by pretty fast. Customer service is great and let alone their food!! Their fish tacos (#1 and #2) and burritos are my ultimate favorite. Always enjoy my go to's after years of stopping by. Bravo! read more

This place is slowly becoming my favorite restaurant, the food is just so good! The workers are fast, efficient and very friendly. Great customer service, the cashier in the afternoon is excellent! I think his name was Manuel, he made me feel at home, bagged all my food neatly and always repeats the order back to me! Big shoutout to Cabo Bobs! read more

My husband is torn between Chipotle and Cabo Bob's - and that's a really good sign. It was a large burrito, with plenty of protein (we added extra), and delicious for a night out. Tip: order ahead on their website - the lines can get long otherwise. read more

I had heard about this place through an in-law, he gave it a raving review. It's taken me about 4 to 5 months to finally try the place out. I live in northern Hays County, but don't go into Austin unless necessary, today was one of those necessary times. While standing in line I noticed a lady' holding her toddler child in her arms and the child had both hands covering his ears to deafen the din. So yeah it is loud but not inexcusable for the time of day; poor baby. I scanned the menu boards for something that might interest me, lots of choices, I settled for the #3 taco (fish) selection, my wife decided on the burrito bowl. I recall having my first fish taco in San Diego, CA back in the 1980's and it was a new and delicious experience. I don't recall the name of the restaurant but it was near MCRD San Diego and was a regular for me and my family. I have not had a fish taco since I moved back home in 1995. My fish taco at Cabo's was not bad but not memorable. My wife's bowl was not much unlike what you might get at other bowl burrito servers. My wife said she never had a bowl burrito, I must make amends. I will give Cabo's another shot, someday, but I really don't think it will make a difference. That is my take and for those that love Cabo's don't be offended and good on ya. read more

Food looked fabulous. Line seemed to move quickly. We were in line and ordered a bowl. Food prep people started making all the burritos for people in front of us. Then started making a handful of online orders. Fine, get it. Suddenly they are making the orders of the people in line behind us, like the three people who arrived and ordered after us. Totally ignored the two of us standing waiting for them to ask us what we ordered and what to put in the bowl. We walked out. If you cannot acknowledge the people who waited patiently then you don't deserve our business. Bye. read more

I drove 20 minutes from my house to pick up food here. I ordered my food over an hour ahead of time, but it was not ready when I showed up at the restaurant. I waited 20 minutes for them to finally cook my food. Then I drove all the way home with my food to discover they gave me the wrong order. It was too spicy for me and I could not eat it. I called and asked for a refund, and although they said they would give it to me, they never did. I used to love Cabo Bob's, but this experience was so bad, I will not go back here again. read more

They have choices for everything, they even have fish, different kinds of tortillas, and ingredients for bowls, to make them as big or healthy as you like, friendly staff usually packed on late nights weekends . Yes burritos are delicious and little dirty on the tables and floors read more

Cabo Bob's Burritos is one cool joint. They have the science of making mass amounts of burritos down to a tee. Step here. Slide over. Pay. Then eat an awesome burrito. Grade: A+ The wife and I where in the mood for some food, but no one could decide where to go. We are new to Austin and there are many places to try. Somehow we decided on Cabo Bob's Burritos. I am glad we did. It was delicious. Made to order tortilla in 30 seconds. Now this is fresh. Lots of options to fill this baby up. Chicken, steak, brisket, fish, pork and veggie. All look good, but the brisket was a home run. Beautiful flavor. Yes Beautiful. It was moist. It was smokey. It was very tasty. All the typical fillers; rice, beans, vegies, etc. Make sure you try some of the spicer sauces. It was another beautiful thing. Hot and hot and real hot. Delicious for real hot spice lovers. Everything was fresh and cooked in small batches to maximize freshness. Let's face it; 712 reviews; 4.5 stars. Something good is happening. The people have spoken. Cabo Bob's Burritos, is an excellent choice for an inexpensive meal. Fun ambiance. Plenty of seating. CC friendly. Fast service with a smile. Plenty of parking. No beer. Ouch, but lot's of non-alcoholic beverage options. I'll be back..... read more

I feel it's tough to find great Mexican food in Austin Texas. This place crushes it ESPECIALLY for a chain.

Ever since living in San Diego for 10 years prior to moving out to Austin, I've been in search of California style burritos/Mexican food and this place does not disappoint in the slightest! I've been here 3 times so far and the level of customization on their burritos is sooo gooddd. Think chipotle but actually authentic and much more elevated! Last time I got the cilantro lime fresh pressed tortilla with grilled steak and all the fixings (Pro Tip: ask for a mixed tortilla, they have 4 flavors and you can even customize your tortilla profile e.g., ancho chili with cilantro lime or smokey cheddar with buttermilk flour). They have an outdoor patio for eating during these COVID times which I really appreciate. I've also had their crispy fish tacos in the past and they were incredible!! You've gotta try their queso, such cheesy goodness. 10/10 would recommend you check this place out! read more

The food is delicious but not they have INCREASED in price & DECREASED in product. It is 51 degrees outside, raining & they also have the AC on blowing cold air. I asked the manager in charge to turn off the AC b/c it was freezing! She said the AC wasn't on -BULLCRAP! There was cold air coming out of the vents as we stood in line. The manager even had her flannel shirt on with a sweatshirt hoodie underneath! I am home now, looked at my receipt (texted to phone) they charged me for extra meat when I didn't even get extra meat!!! #%^¥$&! !!! Again-food is delicious. But way too little meat for the price. The wait is long. And the place is freezing! And be careful they might over charge you for meat you didn't even get! Manager not friendly-no name tag? read more

Cabo Bob's Burritos - $10 burrito w/VERY LITTLE meat! Beware - Tacos Near Me - Austin, Texas

I have never had a bad experience at Cabo Bob's. Their food always tastes fresh and delicious! I used to go every other day while I went to The University of Texas. Now I make the trip to my nearest location. I always get the burrito, with chicken, rice, baja beans, guac, queso and sour cream. I recently started getting the Baja Beans over the Black Beans and it took the burrito to the next level. Their queso is great and so is their Cherry Limeade. I've even made the trip just for the limeade! Highly recommend, it's like an elevated chipotle with fresh ingredients and even better service! read more

I ordered chicken bowl with No beans or rice. They got that right however where are the other ingredients. Either not paying attention to the order or Can not Read. Very disappointed in order. read more

Love it here! One of my family's go to spots when we are craving burritos or a bowl. My favorite are the fish tacos and chicken! A must try!

I was very disappointed with the management staff today. I have been a long time customer of this establishment (2 years), and each time I have always had a pleasant experience with the staff. I am a student of St Ed's and typically go on Tuesdays for the free chips and queso they offer to students. Today, I came in for the free chips and queso, and also order a kids steak taco meal. My experience started off normal as usual. I went through the line, and when I got to the cashier, I typically order a extra cup of queso in addition to the free cup of queso as well as the queso that is included in the kids meal. I do this almost every time I have gone over the past two years. I was charged for the extra cup of queso, and expected to have three cups of queso and two bags of chips (the kids meal includes a bag of chips). I started to head to my car and checked my bag for all my items, and was missing the bag of chips that came with the kids meal and the extra cup of queso that I was charged for. I went back inside to get my paid for items and approached the curly haired male employee (who I assumed was the MOD) at the Togo area. I politely explained the situation, and the cashier close by chimed in and wrongly restated my order. I politely corrected her, to which she said "oh so you are just missing the chips". I said yes, but that I was also missing the queso I was charged for. The cashier then started to argue with me that the "kids queso"was the queso she charged me for (two different sizes and two different prices). The male employee, obviously annoyed at this point, turned, grabbed the queso, and somewhat aggressively handed it to me and said "I don't know what's happening". To add, from the beginning he didn't want to give me the time of day. I then apologized and calmly said that I wasn't trying to cause problems. I just felt very unheard and disrespected from an establishment I've enjoyed going to for the majority of my time as a student at st e read more

If you're looking for a good burrito... look no further. At Cabo Bob's you can can choose between 4 different tortilla flavors for either tacos or a burrito. They make the tortilla fresh in front if you, very cool to see. I got the ancho chile tortilla, it was a nice addition of spice. My boyfriend got the buttermilk flour one, he enjoyed it. I got a steak burrito and the steak was nicely seasoned and you get a good amount. You can choose from brisket, steak, chicken, grilled veggies or crispy fish. They have a bunch of toppings. Everything looked very fresh. I got chips and queso. The chips are VERY fresh and crunchy!! I'm usually a die hard chipotle girl but after going here... things have changed! read more

We are on our first trip to Austin coming from one state park to the other. We got hungry and as last minute decided to come into this place. These fish tacos are certainly different than your standard beer battered fish tacos, however the flavor between the pico tortillas and fish with their salsa is mind blowing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone out here visiting that really makes fish tacos. Variety of tortillas is also a great addition especially cilantro tomatillo. Thank you Bob! -David- read more

As usual cabo bobs never disappoints. Super huge portions and bomb toppings. The star is always their tortillas. Its been years since I've been back in Austin and like everything else, prices have gone up but the portions and quality has remained the same! Will be back the next time I'm in Austin. read more

I asked for a quesadilla and the worker looked me in the face and said fuck you and then wrapped it into a burrito

Chipotle on steroids! The menu is bigger... (fish tacos, different flavor tortillas, multiple been options, etc) much more options... and in my opinion for what I had every bit as good if not better! I had a bowl... steak, with brown rice, black beans, sour cream, queso, and mango salsa. Man it was loaded and good! (The mango salsa was a perfect compliment to the steak!) One thing for sure the queso is 200x better then Chipotle!! The design is the same assembly line like food prep. However the eating area is more upscale... more styled. The chips are made right there and fresh. The staff are fast and helpful. Overall the experience was great. Be sure to try the hot hot sauce... it is excellent! Not just flaming hot... but flaming hot with flavor... truly delicious. read more

This is my new favorite spot if Austin! Was driving through Austin on a Saturday night and did a search for the best fish tacos in Austin and this place was on the list. Cabo Bob's Burritos - Deluxe fish tacos - Tacos Near Me - Austin, Texas

Great tasting food and good vibe. I will certainly come back to eat when I'm in Austin

I'm not a particularly big fan of the build-your-own concept in general. I'm no expert; I want *you* to tell me the best combination of ingredients. But I wanted to try their tacos and build-your-own is the only vegetarian option. It's fun that they offer five different varieties of in-house tortillas but the Smoky Cheddar that I chose had no structural integrity whatsoever. All three of my tacos fell apart immediately upon picking them up. I hate zucchini on tacos so I skipped the grilled veggies blend and went straight for the Baja Beans (THANK YOU for having three bean options ... all of which are vegetarian -- black, pinto, or baja,) sautéed poblanos and onions, cheese, and fresh cilantro. I upgraded for some extra guacamole and queso. The flavors didn't meld well. Everything was okay but not great. Perhaps they have wonderful burritos but I wouldn't recommend going for tacos. There are far better places in Austin. [Ranked as #112 on my taco list of 144 locations AustinTacoMojo.com] read more

Cabo Bob's Burritos - Build-Your-Own Taco plus guacamole and queso - Tacos Near Me - Austin, Texas

We've had Cabo Bob's on our radar since they were a single location, now there are 3 and deservedly so. They are similar to Chipotle's but so much better. Wifey loved her chicken bowl with lots of veggies and I snarfed a beef and queso burrito that also had loads of tasty goodies, didn't think I could finish it all but things that taste this good have a habit of disappearing. This will not be our last visit....and soon! read more

The thick moist burrito is touching my swift slender tongue as it curls around the sour cream delight. The pinto beans are warm and subtle on my eager tastebuds. Very poor service! Has the option to order online and/or call the restaurant. When I went to order online a message pops up and says not taking orders at this time. Tried calling the restaurant to see if I could place the order & the lady said yes. So I said I'd call back when my order was complete. Went through the process of getting everyone's order, called back TWICE then no one answered the phone. Ridiculous! read more
