The thick moist burrito is touching my swift slender tongue as it curls around the sour cream delight. The pinto beans are warm and subtle on my eager tastebuds. The meat I selected was tender and most fabulous to my liking. The wife did not complain. She enjoyed the delicatessen choice of a guacamole parfait. Sweet baby Moses I will crave a Covacian Bob's Delight soon again! read more

I've been here twice and was not disappointed either time. The meats and well as topping are great. The portion sizes are generous and the hot sauce options are tasty! If you need a quick meal for a good price this is your place! Also the chips and guacamole are chef's kiss! read more

Very poor service! Has the option to order online and/or call the restaurant. When I went to order online a message pops up and says not taking orders at this time. Tried calling the restaurant to see if I could place the order & the lady said yes. So I said I'd call back when my order was complete. Went through the process of getting everyone's order, called back TWICE then no one answered the phone. Ridiculous! read more

Live laugh love Cabo. Especially the fish burrito and mango pico!! We love them so much!

Good food, bad/rude service. Expect to wait up to 35 mins for a burrito if you order online.

We typically order Cabo Bob's just for dinner for two adults, but wanted to try out their catering for a Kentucky Derby party and we were not disappointed. Our order consisted of beef, pork, and veggie tacos complete with every side--beans, corn, multiple salsas, veggies, and more. We even got corn and flour tortillas and endless nachos to keep our guests fed, with options, and happy. The food just needed to be heated up upon picking up and setting it out, and Cabo Bob's provided all the containers and utensils. The food also tasted just as good later on in the night when we were going for another round. read more

I don't know what it is about the ben white location but I usually get orders to go and several times now when I pick up an order and leave, I get home to find that it's not the correct order and I have to go back to the store. I wish they would take more time when preparing orders to go or at least have a supervisor to insure that the order are correct. read more

Chipotle on steroids- enough said. Food: 5/5 Ambiance: 4 Bang for the buck: 10/5 I had heard about this location from someone out of town and it is definitely worth the reviews and price. FYI if you get a burrito you will leave full for the next couple of days. read more

I was a little intimidated because I had never been here, it was super busy during the lunch hour, and there were SO many options. I opted for one of the specialties listed on the wall (brisket and queso) so as not to hold up the line trying to make all my choices. I loved that they had a few different "flavors" of tortillas to choose from, and that the tortillas were "grilled" to order. I also loved the house sodas! My burrito was fantastic. Wish they had one of these where I live! read more

Oh man they said this was chipotle-like... no way! They have a variety of tortillas and the steak burrito I got had the meat cooked different than Chipotle! I like chipotle. This one was Like-it in that it's a fast food chain with a line out the door, but the food quality was great! read more

I came here due to it being recommended by my friend, I had the burrito. I chose my OWN tortilla flavor, black beans, white rice with a taste of lemon, poblano, chicken, pico de gallo with onions and chipotle sauce. I thought chipotle was good but this blows chipotle out by 10000000000x please just go here instead of chipotle... the moment I ate the burrito I made a vouch to never go to chipotle ever again... it is EVERYTHING chipotle should be. I guess its why you see a line that almost goes out of the door vs chipotle with 2 customers inside ENJOY CABO BOBS im going today to try the bowl with pork and other toppings. Their portions are huge btw and for the price (8.99 for chicken) you are getting more than a bang for your buck. read more

Great experience ! This place reminded me a lot of chipotle and freebirds but with a more lively atmosphere . I ordered a super steak burrito and it was huge ( way to big to finish Alone.) the prices are similar to other food places with similar walk down and pick your toppings style . I love Cabo Bobs! I wish they would come up to Plano, but I used to go to Cabo Bob's in various locations around Austin 5 days a week for multiple years and my visits back to Austin are not the same without a burrito with a fresh pressed tortilla. I found this place probably close to a decade ago? Has time gone by that quickly? I have had countless events catered by Cabo personally and privately and it is always a hit! Even with all of those visits and probably a years salary minimum spent here, my enthusiasm has not wavered in the slightest and it's still one of my favorite places on earth. If I could have food from only one restaurant for the rest of my life, it would be Bobs. This location has plenty of parking and has a tendency to get quite a line, but they move relatively quickly. In either case, it is worth it! read more

Found a spot on yelp that had 800 plus reviews and 4.5 stars. That's hard to get without being awesome. It was awesome! We each ate a burrito bigger than Ruth Porter Gilmore's face. The line at 8 pm almost stretched out the door. I had an ancho Chile tortilla hand pressed and cooked in front of me. Ruth has cilantro tomatillo tortilla. I had Baja beans, squash, brisket, guacamole, cheese, onions, sour cream and lime juice. Ruth had steak, Baja beans, onions, cheese, lettuce, green salsa and colantro. There were happy faces all around. No wonder people gush. The bill was 20$ with drinks. The only way this gets cooler is if they raise Anthony Bourdain from the dead and he joins us for dinner. It might be cooler if it were a taco truck but alas the ingredients in my burrito alone would have broken the axle. I'd go here if I were u before I died. I need to come back just so I can try a different tortilla or 2. BTW every 8th burrito is free with a punch card. It's good I don't live in Austin. This is living well. read more

When I discovered Cabo Bob's had fish tacos and fish burritos along with the other usual tortilla fillings and extras I made it a point to check it out. I really miss the Baja Fish Tacos and Burritos that I loved while living in San Diego and although there are several restaurants in the Austin area that offer fine fish tacos they just weren't doing "it" for me. So it was with real anticipation I got in line and watched the counter folk assemble the orders ahead of me while listening to the customer's preferences. The different flavored flour tortillas are huge and they fill them up with your choice of protein along with varieties of beans, rice, cheese and assorted veggies and sauces to you get it just the way you want it. Nice. I ordered my Fish Burrito with a few substitutions - brown rice instead of white, Baja beans instead of black, and a serious "walk thru the garden" that made for a bodacious bountiful and tasty crispy fish burrito. It's the closest thing to the ones I left back in SoCal and it was tasty and filling. One caveat - the fish really needs more seasoning. I've had several of these now and while the whole burrito is a thing of beauty, the fish itself is kinda bland. They also used far less crema in the mix than I preferred so I had to ask for more which they added with a smile but I was surprised at how little they routinely provide. On one visit I had the Baja Fish Tacos instead. They were very tasty and also came very close to the ones I remembered and you get three tacos per order for the same price as the burrito. I found the burritos more filling but both were quite tasty. Their other fillings were more popular with the line of customers ahead of me and all looked and smelled delicious but the Fishy ones are the ones I crave the most. Vaya con Pescados! read more

Everything chipotle wishes it could be. Better, fresher food and lots more choices. Similar price point to chipotle. Ambiance is what you'd expect out of a fast food taco joint. Quick and friendly service. Just come with enough time as the line wraps around the entire restaurant and out the front door. It's THAT popular. Remember to explore their different tortilla options. They have their own press and you can even blend their flavor options together. Enjoy! read more

I've been a fan of Cabo Bob's for quite some time. Recently there has been a new guy working the rice and protein section who is SO STINGY with the rice and meats. I asked for double meat and I got 1/4 of an extra serving but was charged at the register for double. This male employee hold up the entire line making the, normally quick process, quite long. And on top of alllll of that nonsense the cashier woman was extremely rude, I gave her my punch card and she let out an annoyed sigh... then I asked for a new one and she threw down the hole puncher after aggressively punching the card. Y'all need to get your act together or I will take myself to chipotle. read more

This is like a chipotle but so much better. The line is long but worth it. I ordered the #1 fish tacos and had it on 3 different tortillas. Surprisedly, the server accidentally put guacamole in it but I didn't mind! It was actually really good with it. Ordering is pretty simple and they are quick to finish orders. The fish tacos is the most popular and glad I was able to try it! There is a hot sauce stand but it actually wasn't that good. Had a lingering smell of vinegar. The experience was good and it was good portions! I could only finish 2 out of the 3 tacos. read more

Cabo bobs has the same concept as freebirds and chipotle they just have their own spin on it. I like it a lot. The food is okay. But I think they intentionally hire the rudest, most incompetent staff!!! I have been there several times and the teenagers working there are incredibly rude! I live a Ketogenic Lifestyle, looked through the menu and made a bowl that sounded amazing. I paid for double protein - no way I got a double portion. That's really my only complaint. The rest of what I ordered was good, it was well sauced and had decent flavor. I did curbside pickup - no fork or napkins in the bag was annoying. Not enough to eat for the price I paid. read more

I LOVE Cabo bobs. I'm an avid chipotle fan but I think Cabo bobs is better. It's cool how they make the tortilla right in front of you and they taste fresh and delicious- I'd recommend the cheddar one! The only thing is the wait can be long if you go during meal times so ordering online can help. Also their burritos are huge- can normally last 1.5-2 meals. read more

Saw lots of reviews on this place and decided to try. It reminds me of a chipotle but they make their fresh tortillas in front of you. The person in front of me got a double portion fried fish and it was a lot. I didn't think they could wrap that much fish into the burrito. I had three tacos and they were all decent. I took it home to eat but the start of the show definitely was the tortilla. read more

Cabo Bob's serves up consistently fresh fish tacos & burritos at reasonable prices. I usually go with the Deluxe Fish Tacos, and my husband opts to build a burrito. I like Cabo Bob's and have had it a few times, but I recently ordered ahead of time online for a larger order. My husband went to pick it up, and no one had a clue about the order. I called them and the girls said she could have it ready on Monday? It was Wednesday. Then she said she could not refund until Monday. I did not want a refund, I just wanted the food. So I asked if I could just read my order off and she entered it-like why was that not an option to begin with. The original order must have magically surfaced because magically it was ready. My other issue was we ordered fish nachos, and guess what? There was no fish. So...not sure if this is the location we will go to again. It was a bit of a hot mess. read more

Overdue review here! So I loved taking out of town family/friends to eat here because their food is delicious and they have their own flavor if you're comparing them to other popular burrito places. What makes Cabo Bob's stand out is their freshly pressed tortillas and options of tortilla flavors: Buttermilk flour, Ancho Chile (red), Cilantro Tomatillo (Green), and Smokey Cheddar (Orange). They have Chicken, Fish *you've gotta try it, veggie (no meat), pork, brisket, and steak burritos. I also recommend their nachos. Yum. Load them with all the goods. Or try their chips and queso. The freshly made chips are great. Now onto Covid precautions. We were glad they offered online ordering, and curbside pickup. You just pull up to the curbside sign, by the door on the side with the outdoor seating, and they bring your order to you. It's perfect, and staff were wearing masks. We've been a couple of times and I continue to recommend it. Our brother in law loved it, and to our surprise they opened a Cabo Bob's in San Antonio by his work. So he got to continue enjoying it after first trying this Cabo Bob's location. read more

My cousin and I had flown to Austin to pick a car; before getting on the road to head back to Dallas we decided to stop for lunch. We were VERY impressed with the food. The establishment was crowded but the line moved quickly. I know you're able to pick different flavor tortillas which we did but they all tasted the same to us. There are a log of different sauces you can try. The next time I'm in Austin I'll stop there! read more

I have been to CBs several times and went back today in the name of science to get some pictures as I have usually left my camera in the car and not checked in or taken pictures. This time I got the #7 beef fajita burrito and said make it just like the menu says. It was boring and a bit lifeless due to all the different ingredients piled together (a blender would work just as well). The meat was definitely something I have always liked there though. While I stood in line for about 15 minutes (lots of people but the line moves fast) I watched the clientele of Anglo and Asians get their food. This is definitely a hipster place and they must be doing something right at that target as it was packed. No one complained about their food. Myself, I like it much better than the giant burrito chain place. The drink machines and bottles were a sight to behold! The parking lot is dangerous and a nightmare. Watching road rage over and over there would damage any experience. My suggestion is that if someone in the office wants to make a lunch run, don't be the driver. The place was clean, the staff worked frantically to keep things moving and it was not too bad when I added my emergency hot sauce I always carry. I ate half, then reheated the other half later and the difference seemed minimal. All in all, I would prefer a simple brisket or Al Pastor taco. But, this place would do nicely, especially if someone else was paying or you needed a couple of meals for working very late. read more

This restaurant has the best tacos around. Step up your game Chipotle's, Cabo Bob's is popping up everywhere. Would love to have one in Kyle or at least San Marcos. Don't let the long line fool you. Service is lightning fast at all locations. They even pulled me out of a catering disaster. I called the San Antonio location and the manager delivered to my clients within 3 hours. Saved my b***!! Got there about 30 minutes before close. Line took about 30 minutes to move through. We got our food and sat down outside. I'm not a huge fan of big burrito's. I think I have an intense hatred of Freebirds. That being said Cabo Bobs had such a high yelp rating for so long that I felt I had to give it a try. It being so close to work made it convenient to do so. So I was going to get a salad or some sorta bowl option which is what I always do when I have to eat at some place like this but when I got in the line which seemed to be moving very fast and efficiently I couldn't help but notice they were making the tortillas for the burritos right away and then using them. This looks like it could turn out to be better than your average sticky lowest common form a bread tortilla so I decided to go with the Pork Burrito. I selected some sort of cheese flavored tortilla.. and started going through the line. I got rice, beans, guacamole, onions and all the fixings. They made the biggest burrito for me I have ever seen. I got back to work and settled in to eat it .. now the tortilla was sticky and gross I'll probably not get tricked into trying the burrito again. The pork was very tasty and the price and speed of service was awesome. Also the cane sugar soda selection is unmatched. I got cane sugar big peach and it was amazing. I think I would have enjoyed my food more if I would have just gotten the salad. I also cant wait to try the Baja Fish Taco's. I says give these guys a chance its good food! read more
