We decided to use Quartzite and understood there would be a number of challenges ahead, including very tight budget and time constraints. We had several contractors working simultaneously, and inevitably hit budget overruns and time delays. We interviewed and worked with several other major countertop vendors, and not only did their customer service leave much to be desired, but our selected vendor fell through at the last minute because they oversold their material. When we reached out to Evergreen, from the start everything was different. We were dealing directly with the owner, who supported us through the whole process, from slab selection to fitting, installation and everything in between. The quote was highly competitive and market-aware, payment was very straight forward and, though we had minor unforeseen issues, they were completely and masterfully handled. Even after the installation was done, we needed help with an issue that was totally outside his responsibility. In the end, we came out ahead of our remodel schedule, within budget, and with a fantastic kitchen. Truly, cannot recommend it further!

This is a longer overdue review from Dream Hardwood Floors. I bought a house in 2017 and the floors…read morewere destroyed. I wanted to get the floors re-surfaced and stained before I moved in. Dream Hardwood floors was one of the few available that could start work immediately, on top of that my price was very good considering the amount of work that needed to be done. I had some fill work that needed to be done because I demo'd a pony wall with no floor under it. There was also a really BAD patch job that the previous home owner hid under a gigantic couch that I never saw until the house was cleared for the keys to be turned over. On top of that, there was an area of the house that had a bad slope to the point where the floor split in an area because of it. Every contractor prior to Dream Hardwood floors would not give me a firm price on fixing the slope because they gave me every potential issue that that could come up and said they would quote me to fix it after they already got the job and started going into the floor. I don't know about you guys, but I don't like the idea of an open-ended contract. Anyway Humberto gave me a firm price, and got to work immediately. And when I say immediately, like...the following day before I even got him the deposit. I think the total job took a little over a week. The patch work where they staggered the wood was amazing, after it was all said and done you couldn't tell any patch work was done at all. There were some areas though where edges of trim for doors (wall trim was removed prior, but door trim was not) that ended up with some stain on it. That would probably be my only real "complaint". Other than that work was done great, there was good communication, and you can tell a lot of pride in the work. Humberto seems to have a genuine passion for flooring and wood which is nice to be around when figuring things out vs someone just looking for another job. I went with a 50/50 espresso - ebony mix. I LOVE IT! I will definitely use Dream Hardwood Floors again when its time for me to refinish the floors whenever that time comes up.

Never once did I receive any phone call or update letting me know they weren't going to show up or possibly be late. It was always me reaching out to get ahold of them and then getting apologies from them because they forgot. Sorry but three strikes and you're out. Pretty poor customer service in my opinion.

The quality of his workmanship wasn't so much the issue- but his attention to detail during the templating process. We chose two granite slabs for a large project which involved a 9 foot island and smaller project for another home. One of the slabs had a river of quartz running through the middle and was templated to be the center focal point of the island. When installation day came, we were surprised to find that the island had no quartz running through the center. We couldn't figure out what went wrong. When the second granite countertop was delivered to our daughter's home for install- there it was. The quartz was placed in front of the kitchen sink. This mistake really showed a lack of caring for customer wishes and a template appointment that was a waste of time. Pretty disappointing. Seams weren't that inconspicuous- I've since had other stone projects with smaller seams.

Instead of answering those questions, Tom responded in a dismissive and unprofessional way, asking whether I had read the estimate or looked at their website, and saying I could call him if I was "serious about doing business" with them. As a customer, I believe it is completely normal to ask detailed questions before hiring a contractor, especially for a home project involving cost, materials, and installation details. The lack of clear answers and the tone of the response made me lose confidence in moving forward with this company. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company if you expect clear communication and respectful customer service.
