They very much want their customers to be happy and to appreciate the work they provide. ------------------ Overall - we were very pleased with the communication and with their customer service. They came out quickly to provide a quote, and were able to start the work the next week. Finished quickly. As far as the quality of work - we were a little bummed. They had to come back to do a bunch of touch ups and small repairs. They also got paint on two rugs in our home :( and on a bunch of outlet covers and sockets in the room. Also - just know that they will provide a quote for the work, but the paint is extra, so plan ahead for a few hundred dollars over their quote, plus tax. Overall - would recommend but attention to detail could be improved. read more

Great work by the whole team! Denis honored a base price quote from 12 months earlier and was very communicative about all upgrade charges. Gabriel, our project manager, was polite, thorough & responsive. William, our lead painter, seemed to be well-liked by his crew and did a really nice job. They started early when another job finished up ahead of schedule, and finished our job 2 days ahead of their original plan. How often does that happen? When we did the walkthrough, there were just a handful of tiny spots that needed an extra dab of paint -- really solid work, including on a tricky painted deck surface. They did some carpentry work on our front railing, and did quick, good-looking work there, too. Not the cheapest option for carpentry, but a lot less hassle than contracting that out separately and coordinating the schedule. Good communication, even when we were away over the weekend when they were getting started and missed a couple of calls -- they left clear messages/texts and followed up quickly. I speak some Spanish and the crew mostly spoke Spanish, but William spoke enough English for us to communicate fine, and another painter, and Gabriel and Denis, all spoke fluent English. One crew member cursed pretty prolifically in Spanish, but I think if I had said something he probably would have stopped. Everyone was polite, respectful of the space & my gardens (within reason...a few plants always get trampled, and one pot got broken). Good advice on color selection, too! read more

We are very satisfied from start to finish working with ACP on our exterior wall paints. Denis, the sales manager, was the most professional and thorough and gave the most competitive quote among other 5 companies we quoted. Denis followed up diligently. We asked for minor changes and additions to the quote and Denis also updated them very promptly on the contract. Project manager Gabriel supervised the 4 day long project, handling the communications very well. He made sure all questions and requests we have are properly addressed by the team. We wanted more water resistance. He recommended us to go with low luster instead satin which turned out to be the absolute right decision. William, the head painter, and his team, did an overall great job, made sure small imperfections we spotted were done right before they left. We were very happy on the final result. I've worked with American Classic Painters twice now and can ensure the quality of the paint job. In my last place, I'd even get asked if the walls were professionally done because they look so seamless. This most recent job ended up being under a time crunch, and I appreciated Nick and Denis doing what they could to squeeze me in and get everything scheduled for before I moved in. Gabriel was the project manager for my job and was incredibly kind and patient with me as I asked a bunch of questions and deliberated over what I wanted done. And I feel so bad I never got/don't remember the painters names because they were fantastic. Incredibly efficient and great at answering any questions I had with Gabriel occasionally translating. ORIGINAL: The person who painted our house could have been more meticulous. Several spots were left out and I had to ask them to address these. They pressure washed the entire house without first doing a paint color match despite having agreed that we want the same color. They later relied on us to do the research on what color is closest to the house's previous color. I think I could have just hired the subcontractor who did the job and not paid the $3000 mark-up they charge for attending a phone call and sending me an email quote. read more

Seeing their excellent work 1st hand, I knew who to call for our painting needs. I had my ceilings painted, the stairwell, 2 bedrooms, an accent wall, all exterior of my home, and my deck and fence stained. And get this, one guy named Bata (a painting machine) did the whole thing by himself within one weeks time. Impressive! The price I felt comfortable with because I witnessed their work at my sisters homes, and Nick was very patient with me until I had the funds ready to start the projects. The last time I had my home painted, I went with the cheapest quote and had 2 different color blues on the front of my house vs the back. I have known the exact date I wanted the work done by for 18 months. And I gave them months of leeway to chose a more ideal week). 3) When trying to resolve a disagreement, Nick raised his voice and talked over me. I wouldn't recommend this company. It started great and the sales pitch was very attractive and even though they were not the cheapest, we decided to go with them. They came on time and even though the whole team was from Texas with no English, it seemed to be fine. We had a few areas where the wood needed to be replaced/ repaired and we were told that they have a carpenter on stuff. Their "carpenter" redid the work 3 times and it still looked like 10 year old did it. They charged us prime rate for it though. If you need some repairs to be done, do not hire their carpenters. After 2 coats of paint on the house, we noticed several areas where the old paint was coming through and when I pointed out to Nick, he was raising his voice and was talking over me continue repeating that what they did was amazing job and I do not know what I was talking about. It was very unprofessional and disrespectful and I would never expect something like that from a professional. (A few pictures attached) Next day though he came to the site and fixed the issues we pointed out. He also apologized for his behavior. Update: After I posted my review, Nick called me and refunded me for the carpenter work. I appreciated he cared about our experience with his company. read more

I have nothing but the highest praise for Nick and his team at American Classic Painters. During the quoting process, Nick came out to our home to provide a very thorough explanation of everything that needed to be done for our exterior painting project. He immediately struck me as an honest, responsible business owner who cares deeply about doing the right thing for his customers. He is very thorough, meticulous and definitely knows his stuff when it comes to painting a house. When the project started, Nick made sure that I understood all the work that would be done and also walked around the home with me to make sure I was in agreement with the colors that were being used. I provided him with the paint colors used by the builders initially and he double checked this by going back to the painting supply store to do a color match. His team is also very nice and experts at what they do. They are extremely hard working, arriving early in the morning and leaving later in the evening to make sure they could get everything done per the schedule. They also cleaned everything up at the end of the day and after the project was finished. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the job that American Classic Painters did with our home. It looks just like the day we bought it - if not better. I was consistently impressed by their incredible responsiveness, honesty, attention to detail and the obvious pride they have in their work. We could not be happier with our service from ACP! As I write, I am already asking them to bid on another project. As for the first project - STELLAR. Nick, the rep who was our primary point of contact, was professional, communicative, responsive, and super friendly. We had a sort of extraordinary request - paint all interior walls and ceiling in a 2600 sqft home that hadn't been painted in decades, and finish before we move in in 2 weeks. With cathedral ceilings and exposed wood beams, it wasn't an easy ask, but Nick and team came through for us when we needed it most. They got the job done in a few days, taking advantage of pockets of time in their schedule, and finished in less than 2 weeks after we contacted them for a bid. During peak season! The price was fair - we got several bids, and while this one wasn't the lowest, it was still in line with competition, and we felt their attention to detail and responsiveness were well worth the money. We were 100% right. Out of the whole giant project, there were only 2-3 tiny issues (splotch of paint on wood, dark mark on wall, that kind of thing) and as soon as we flagged, Nick was out the next day having the crew fix to our satisfaction. I can't think of a better experience I've had with painters in my life. I'll be referring my family and friends to these guys and using them for every project from now on. read more
