We worked with the team over at CA Luce for our termite issue. The tenting went well and we enjoyed working with everyone there. They are communicative and have great follow up. read more

They get to the point, are reasonable in their charges, readily available and friendly.

This is review simply on reception. I called in for a termite inspection quote after hours. Michelle got back to me the next day. She was friendly and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and was willing to work with my tight schedule. The quote was competive.Unfortunately, my partner had already scheduled with another company. I will hold on to their info for the future. read more

Shout Out to CA Luce Termite Control https://caltermitecontrol.net/ I had them come out for a termite inspection to get a 2nd opinion after Orkin gave me a $3200 quote for a manufactured home. While he pointed out a few things, loose skirting, some dry rot in the shed he found NO evidence of termites. Free termite inspection and provided me with honest feedback. Showed up when they said they would and he was very professional and polite. I highly recommend this company and will use them if I actually get termites! read more

Highly recommend. Chris and team are clear, practical and dependable. You won't be disappointed.

12/12 Recommend Chris and his team. They are AMAZING to work with. I've used them several times and they always do a great job at a fair price. They also stand behind their work, which is rare for a company. Michelle and Jennifer are super friendly, really knowledgeable and always get someone out there ASAP. Really can't say enough nice things about this company. Just a great company to do business with. I'll be using them again 100%. read more

Chris did a very thorough inspection outside and in our attic for termites and found none. He had great information on how to continue to prevent an infestation. We appreciate his honesty and the final report he emailed to us. read more

CA Luce is a great company. they have fair prices, lower then most and their work and customer service is the best. Our new home had some serious termite damage and active termites. They set up a lock box and Jennifer stayed in contact with us every step. They did a great job. I have used at least 4 other companies and I can honestly say that we will always be using CA Luce Termite. What a breath of fresh air. Thank you for making our New Home safe and pest free!! we appreciate you. read more

The team at CA Luce provided amazing customer service. From the initial inspection during the home purchase (June) to finally getting the house tented and treated after our renovation (November), they were a great partner. Need to change your date? No problem! We were out of town for the the 3 days of the tenting and they treated our home like it was theirs. Amazon delivered a giant box the day of the tenting and they took it over to our neighbor instead of leaving it outside the tent to be pirated. Chris, Logan and the office staff are all friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We'll be happy to have them back in a few years to make sure the termites haven't returned! read more

We recently discovered that we had termites, so we sat down and penciled out what we needed from a company before we hired them. We wanted: An inspection to verify our conclusions. Options for remedies. A project leader to take control of the remedy. Fair pricing. Professional and ethical standards. Great warranty. Dependability. References. Inside security cameras to monitor the process. If your checklist is like ours we highly recommend CA Luce Termite Control. We felt completely at ease walking away from the home for the required duration knowing Chris was in control of the whole process. read more

I had Chris Luce come inspect my house. I had a lot of dry rot on the fascia, main support beams and rafters. The work was completed on time, on budget and turned out perfect. I highly recommend this company. Installers are very nice guys that do great work. It was a pleasure to work with this company read more

We had them service our family's home for fumigation. The reasons why I chose them over others was there professional interactions over the phone and via email in a timely manner since I work full time away from home, and am a mother as well. They're a small business, but do provide the attention that I needed for details of concern since our family traveled out of town for the tenting. Given my concerns of leaving our home alone far away, I appreciated that they offered a roof policy, and the additional option of video cameras. When we returned, I noticed the technicians even bagged our fruits that we accidentally forgot to place in the bags. We will definitely use their services again. read more

I became a Chris Luce client for life after our first meeting. Jennifer (the office scheduler) promptly set up an in-home inspection for termites. When Chris arrived, exactly on time he was cheerful, informative, and obviously motivated to do a very thorough job. Which he did -- gratis. I mean no change for over an hour of hard work. In the attic and completely around the outside of the house. Then he backed this up with a very professional written assessment. Again, at no charge. What a pleasant surprise to find a small business owner that delivers old-fashioned service and value-add. Whatever my properties require in the future I will simply call Jennifer and tell her Chris has the job. No quote is needed. read more

C.A. Luce Termite Control was great to work with when I needed a property inspection before listing my property. They were able to come out the day I called. They were easy to communicate with, via email and on the phone. I knew we were going to need to fumigate, as we had seen signs of termites. They explained the process and exactly how to work with SDG&E to shut off the gas and get it turned back on after tenting. I got estimates from two different companies and their pricing was good. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and neighbors, the process could not have been better. read more

Fast, responsive, responsible. Worked with Michelle and she was great. They were able to do a free inspection quickly, got me on schedule to fumigate my property ASAP, and matched the pricing to a local competitor. Solid warranty. They also fix any broken tiles which will inevitably happen (you have to purchase the tiles). Other termite companies may charge an extra roof fee for this. All in all, a good, painless experience. Hopefully the termites are gone for good! If not, I know who to call. read more

We recently discovered swarming termites in our house and knew we would have to tent the entire house. I was planning on going with Western but a friend referred me to Chris Luce. From the first phone call I was impressed with the professionalism of his team. We made an appointment for an inspection which was confirmed by email. Chris provided me with paperwork that outlined everything we would have to do. After the inspection I received a quote that was less than Western. We were out of the house for two days for fumigation. It was a bit stressful but Michelle was in touch with me constantly to let me know when we could return. Her communication was so impressive. My neighbor let me know how polite the fumigators were when preparing my house on her side. I highly recommend CA Luce and his team! read more

Chris did the inspection, was thorough and polite - the tenting was easy and quick (we were not in town to oversee anything) and everything went smoothly. Would highly recommend! read more

CA Luce did a great job fumigating my house from start to finish. Chris came out and was thorough in explaining my options, his estimate was the most competitive, and the front staff (Michelle and Jennifer) communicated often and quickly responded to my questions. The fumigation process was like clockwork. There are pre-fumigation things that need to be done and CA Luce was there to help. The fumigators arrived on time and was respectful of my property. Post fumigation there were some tiles that needed to be replaced and they took care of it in a timely manner, even after paying them. Overall, from start to finish this was a five star experience. read more

We spotted termite damage on our front windows and had 3 different companies do an inspection and give us an estimate. The prices were similar for the three but we were impressed with how thorough the CA Luce's team was. Chris the owner walked us through the house inside and out while on of his team poke at different areas. While his employee inspected in the attic he talked us through the whole process. They then sent us a detailed inspection report as well as an estimate for the work. They pointed out additional damage we missed. Their quote was about the same as the other two. CA discussed our tile roof and the and suggested tile insurance which we signed up for. His entire team were helpful and pleasant as they walked us through the necessary steps we need to take. We were very happy with the whole process. Dan Porter read more

We just had CA Luce Termite Control fumigate and repair the wood damage on our house. After interviewing two other company's CA Luce was a no nonsense company. With some difficult wood repairs they performed the repairs perfectly, and they even went above and beyond. when I came home they had done the repairs and to my surprise they even matched the paint and painted their repairs.. They were very understanding and in and out with no problems. I highly recommend CA Luce Termite Control. Thanks, Bob Buehler read more

Was avoiding getting our house fumigated by trying a stay at home Kilguard termite treatment. Had some wood replaced prior to the treatment but just one year later I noticed more wood showing signs of termite damage. The inpector proposed more wood needed replacement and when I informed him I just had their treatment a year back they retreated instead. End of second year, it was worst so I decided to replace and repair the damaged wood with a different company and fumigate. I should have done it the first time. I got a couple of estimates from my yelp search and one a neighbor recommended. Chris the owner himself from C.A. Luce termite control did a thorough inspection. His estimate came in lower in price, offered a good warranty and was highly recommended so I decided to go with them. Everyone on his team did a great job. From Ari and Santino who replaced the wood. Michelle and Jennifer who kept me informed with a call or email and Logan and the fume crew. There were hiccups along the way like one wood got missed. But it was corrected real quick with no additional charge. I also realized I might have a pigeon's nest under my solar panel's 3 days before the fumigation on a rainy friday. I informed Michelle and she worked the phones to figure out what we needed to do so I can still have time to cancel my hotel reservation in case the baby pigeon has not left the nest yet. We ended up rescheduling. I rescheduled my hotel and they sent someone to go up on the roof when it stopped raining. Thanks to Manuel too for checking so thoroughly. I kept asking him if he was sure that there was no nest cause I found eggshells on the side of our house. He was sure but he kept going back up on the roof to check twice then a third time to make me feel better. Thanks again to the whole crew of C.A. Luce Tetmite control. It was a lot of work but you made it easier but the best thing is I'm sure the termites are really gone for now. But I got my warranty! ( : read more

I'm really happy with CA Luce Termite! Chris is knowledgeable and very patient! We did a full treatment with tenting and some decorative architectural timber replacement. Although the whole process is inconvenient they made it a lot easier! Michelle and Jennifer are capable and efficient in returning all inquiries! A special shout out to Ari and Santino for really working hard to accommodate my high standards!! read more

Writing a raving review is the only way I can think to thank Chris Luce for being honest, helpful & unbelievable. I wanted to get 3 quotes for what seemed to be termites. Mr. Luce came in, poked around and honestly told me the bugs we were finding were not in fact termites. He educated me and said to call him when we actually had a problem. He could have told me just about anything he wanted, but did not! You better believe I'll call Chris Luce WHEN termites find me in the near future. read more

What an excellent company to do business with. First off, the front office staff was such a pleasure. Kind and efficient in getting me scheduled for a termite inspection. They were able to get me in sooner than any other company I called. The owner Chris Luce was prompt, professional, honest and reliable. Plus he had a great disposition. He did a thorough inspection and didn't try to sell me on anything that wasn't needed. Boy do I appreciate that in this day of age. I needed the inspection for a refinance that we were tight on time to complete, they went above and beyond to get the inspection and report done promptly. Can't recommend this company enough. read more

What we liked is they were available and did great work. When I say available, right now it is difficult to get people in the trades to even come out and bid and then scheduling can be difficult. CA Lice came out and gave us an estimate before we had even moved in. Then they scheduled the fumigation for the day we took possession of the house so the work would be completed before we moved in. They took note of the repairs that needed to be done and worked with us to schedule a time to make them. When the crew came out, they not only made all the repairs, they also purchased paint in the color of our house and painted over the spots where the repairs were done, for no additional charge. They also noticed that our gutters needed cleaning and took care of them before they left. I was taken on a site inspection at the end. I highly recommend their service! read more

If I could give this company 100 stars, I totally would! The customer service I received from CA Luce Termite Control is way beyond compare. I seriously can't say enough about them. Unfortunately, I was not able to hire them and have work completed. This was not due to the company but an issue on my end with our home. However, CA Luce Termite Control tried every way possible to assist and work with me. Most companies would have corresponded with me a couple of times and simply would have said, "Sorry, can't help you." This was not the case with CA Luce Termite Control. I find it extraordinary that a company would go to the lengths they did to think of ideas, suggestions and give advice to a customer, knowing they may or may not get hired for the job. CA Luce and I corresponded through email at least 20x for a week or so and had phone conversations with both me and our real estate agent. Every response whether by email or phone was promptly answered and professionally. They were with me every step of the way and tried all possible ways to work with me until all of our options were spanned and we could not come up with a solution. Although, I couldn't hire them for the job.... I would recommend CA Luce Termite Control to the whole world! Please if you are looking for a termite company, don't hesitate to contact them. I know I will if the situation ever arises again. You'll be in good hands with them! read more

C.A. Luce's team repaired dry rot work that had been done by another company just 8 years ago. This time, they did it right, getting at the core of the problem and taking steps to prevent future rot. I can't say enough about how great these guys are. Chris responded promptly to my request for a quote, was on time and professional. He got me the quote the same day. When his crew arrived to do the termite repairs and treatment, they were knowledgeable, friendly, and also on time. His crew treated some active termites that were in our attic, and also replaced a bunch of wood around the outside of our house that desperately needed it. They went the extra mile, even offered to dispose of some wood we had laying around. Great crew, great company, loved working with them. Oh yeah, their pricing was very good too. Had a friend that had another company do similar work and I know she paid about double. I will definitely use these guys again and recommend them to anyone! read more

I was reluctant to fumigate my entire home because the process is invasive, time consuming, and expensive. However, the hungry termites had over 20 years to dine on my home, so it needed fumigation. After receiving several estimates to tent my home, I found this company offered the best price with the most inclusive treatment. They are organized, professional, and provide great communication on the process. Logan came by a week earlier to prep which was very extensive. If I had questions, the office was organized, communicative, and followed-up with me right way. A few of my plants suffered but I was warned about it. The most important thing is that the job is done correctly with no pet or human casualties. I highly recommend them and plan on using their services for extermination maintenance. read more
