Professional, fast, and painless. I called on a Tuesday to get my kid in as a new patient. I said I'd take the first available and they just happened to have some cancellations for the following day (amazing!). Got to the appointment a few minutes early, filled out one sheet of paper that was prefilled out with my kids name (also amazing!), waited a few minutes to see the doctor, and bam we were in! After the appointment we were able to get a doctors note emailed to us for school excuse. We didn't need any corrective lenses so we didn't have to go through that process but I'd recommend this place if you're looking for a new Optometrist. read more

The visit went mostly smooth and felt well organized from start to end. The staff at the front was welcoming and kept things moving without making it feel rushed. I had to wait a bit in the room but nothing too long. The doctor was pretty thorough and asked a lot of questions about how I've been feeling lately, not just physically but also about sleep and energy levels. It didn't feel like they were going through a checklist but more like they were trying to really get a full picture. They spent a decent amount of time talking through some options and lifestyle things I might try. I appreciated that they weren't pushing anything but explained things in a simple way. They also made sure to double check how I reacted to previous treatments which I found helpful since I sometimes forget what worked and what didn't. The nurse who followed up after the doctor was also good at breaking things down and writing a few things out for me to take home which was useful. This is probably the best vision place Ive been to. I had an appointment and I was taken in right away. Dr Julie does the exams fast and listen to my questions and concerns. I was in and out of there in under 20 min. All the staffs there are very professional and friendly. Booking appointments over the phone is super easy as well. The office is small but not crowded. I definitely recommend this practice and Dr. Bahn especially. He's patient and friendly. I didn't feel one bit pressured to buy anything from their store. I went in for contact lens and he was willing to have me try a couple of different brands and power levels to give me the correction I needed. Plus, the trial lens he had me try were completely free. When renewing my driver license , I haven't pas sight test and DMV asked me to see my eye doctor . There has only 5 day (include 3day long weekend) my license will be expiring. I called c.sharp, The staff and doctor was so friendly and high efficient. the earliest day is 9/4, which is 2 day passed my deadline. they promised would call me if anybody canceled appointment. To my surprise is they called me when I just back to home, said Dr. Bamh would see me on 8/30,Friday, before opening! Dr. Bamh rechecked my eye, and found there was change compare to six month ago, and need a new glasses. He said it will be ready in 1 to 2 week. Then I bring his comments to DMV immediately , and DMV gave me a temporary license and scheduled a sight road test on 9/10 with new glasses. That is best result I could have. tl;dr Small shop but friendly people! Large array of decently priced frames. I came here for the first time for my annual eye exam. I was initially surprised by the very small size of the shop. There is like one chair for the waiting area and presumably only one examination room. Seems like there is only one doctor too, but I could be wrong. Despite this, the team was lovely to interact with, and I especially enjoyed my eye exam with Dr. Bahn. I'd always thought my previous optometrists were just carrying out the exam without really being interested in the patient or engaging, but I felt like Dr. Bahn was more fun and engaging while his advice also built trust in his medical experience. Going here was a great experience, and I highly recommend. Everyone here is so professional and kind and patient. Dr. Bahn was happy to explain everything as he was going through the tests and made sure to answer all my questions. He has a great 'bedside manner' and made sure I was comfortable. Any extras offered that are not covered by insurance are very clear ("We can do this test too, but it will be an extra $40") and not pushed if you say no. They DO NOT try to "upsell" which is such a breath of fresh air. I have had bad experiences with other optometry places in the past, so it was wonderful to be able to relax here and know I'm being taken care of. read more

I don't write many reviews, but I feel compelled to write a good one today. I had a great experience with Dr. Banh. Three things stood out to me: 1. My previous optometrist decreased my prescription from 2.75 to 2.5 without explaining, which had always been mysterious to me. Dr. Bahn explained how it's possible to be in between two prescriptions and demonstrated how my lens preference differed for close and far distances. 2. Dr. Bahn recommended I use daily contact lenses, which would save me money. My previous optometrist sold me monthly contact lenses even though I only wear contacts very infrequently. 3. Dr. Bahn shared knowledge about LASIK with me even though that might decrease my future business with his office. I got the impression that he wanted to be the best possible doctor and not just increase his own business. Overall, I highly recommend this optometry office. read more

I had a very bad experience at a previous optometrist. The effect was that I ended up paying a bunch of money for bad glasses that I could use and I could not retrieve my prescription. So with my terrible vision and multiple eye surgeries I had to start from square one. I called 5 different optometrists when trying to find a new one. Only C.Sharp answered all of my questions and they did so in a completely professional manner. At the end of the call I made an appointment. I went in for my examination and they treated me so well. They took my old glasses then gave me the exam. The doctor was friendly and really tried to make my experience nice. They gave me an option of buying two pairs of glasses. One for computers and my regular prescription. I am a software test engineer so that sounded great. I have never had that offered in the past. I picked out killer frames and placed an order. They said 2 weeks and they came in faster. (My old doctor quoted 6 weeks then took 8.) I got the glasses and after 2 weeks realized the computer ones were not right. I took them in an spoke with the office and the same doctor. They figured out the issue and for no charge ordered new lenses. This time it took less than a week! I went back and they were perfect. I am wearing them now and loving them to bits. -= This is the best optometrist I have visited by far in my 40 years of wearing glasses. They make sure the customer is completely happy with their order. Next year I am getting prescription sunglasses! Can't wait! =- read more

C.Sharp is the best optometrist office I've been to out of multiple places. There is zero upselling to fancier brand names for glasses. Compared to other places like Golden Vision and Gary Gold, the final bill for the glasses at C.Sharp was about 1/4 (yes, that's about 25%, or about 75% less) of the cost of these other places. Upselling at these other places happened by stocking only much more expensive frames on display. C.Sharp also gave measured advice about eye health based on the retinal scan. Whereas another place gave alarmist feedback about the heightened risk of blindness, C.Sharp did not. I also got my daughter's glasses here and was very pleased with the customer experience. Despite my daughter taking her time to carefully choose glasses frames well past closing time, the C.Sharp staff patiently waited. read more

I just got back from my eye exam and wanted to leave a review because I had such a great experience! The biggest thing I appreciated about this office is that they're not pushy at all. All the previous optometry offices I've gone to do not honor my decisions which has always made me uncomfortable. Ex: The retinal scan via machine isn't fully covered by my insurance so I would decline it or say I want the one where I need drops in my eyes yet it would take some time for them to accept my decline. The receptionist I saw at C.Sharp said off the bat that it was optional which I haven't seen elsewhere. Dr. Hwang was super thorough and efficient. I needed to change my contacts and when I tried on the ones she recommended they were super comfortable and such a great match. Hands down the BEST experience I've had at an optometrist's office! Compared to my last optometrist's office, which was a high-pressured sales environment, Dr. Banh's office was professional and clearly willing to work in my best interest as the patient. Dr. Banh is a great doctor. His staff are also amazing. I made an appointment for a contact lens exam via phone and filled out a get-to-know-you form before being brought back for the exam. Dr. Banh was patient, knowledgeable, and overall very easygoing. I trusted he knew what was best for me. Dr. Banh and his staff also get along super well with each other, which is always a great sign at any doctor's office! I came in knowing exactly which contacts I wanted to purchase (Acuvue Define 1-Day in Natural Shine). Dr. Banh and staff didn't try to sell me something different. I really appreciated this; they special ordered my desired contacts since they didn't have any in stock. Before leaving, they gave me a 2 week supply of samples so that I wouldn't have to go without my new prescription while waiting for my ordered contacts to arrive. He went above and beyond to ensure a great experience for me. One of the glasses I ordered broke, just before I was about to move out of the country. Dr. Banh let me choose any frame I wanted to replace the old one, free of charge, and also sent it to me to my international address. Dr. Hwang and her staff continue to be consistent in the excellent quality of their services. - The computer glasses I had been prescribed initially was too strong. They reduced the prism on it and re-made the lens for free. - In another visit, I brought in custom frames and was able to buy just the lenses for them for driving, using a modification of my driving prescription to work with contacts. - The custom frames + lenses were not working properly (still seeing double vision) - they scheduled an appointment to take a look - Today's appointment was to figure out the issue with the custom lenses. Dr. Hwang continued to be great with her bedside manners and addressing my concerns. We found out the prescription needed to be adjusted again and the lens will be re-made at no cost. - Same appointment - it wasn't part of the agenda, but I brought in my computer glasses as even after the re-make it felt off still, and the doctor was happy to help fix the prescription on it (it needed a further reduction in prism); the re-make was also free - I needed chart data to send to a doctor, and they were able to quickly email it to me (they also offered to fax it as well) - I also saw another optometrist for a different issue / second opinion during this time and both were in alignment with their opinions; I appreciated that Dr. Hwang wasn't bothered by this and my experience with her was better than the other optometrist I saw I think I've visited the office around five times at this point in the past few months for various things, and each experience has always been delightful. From the very beginning of my visit, it was so clear that they were prioritizing my experience and in making sure that I felt comfortable and informed with my choices. I've been wearing glasses for 35 years and I've never had an optometrist take so much time to make sure fitted right: I think this is the first time I've ever had correctly fitted glasses that stay in the right place comfortably! I'm a bit surprised by all of the 5 star reviews which did not match my first experience here. I felt rushed when I shared concerns about allergy symptoms and felt that Dr. Hwang was actively dissuading me from getting a dilated exam for the sake of time. It may have not been her intention to convey things this way but, altogether, the feeling I got was one of quickly checking the boxes rather than genuine caring. I had to ask to have contact lens fitted at the end which I'm surprised one needs to ask for--I assumed this was routine for all patients who indicate they wear contacts and glasses. Finally, the front desk staff showed very little interest in helping me select frames. I asked one who looked at the other in response to my ask. The second provided about 30 seconds of assistance before calling a third person. He provided the most help by listing three brands that would be of most interest to me. But that was it. Perhaps I'm expecting more than I should but I've typically had more hands on experience with selecting frames--more so than I had here. Perhaps they were having an off day. I won't seek to try to understand. But I do know I've had better service at my prior optometrist and plan to return there moving forward. 3 stars for ease of scheduling, location/parking and cleanliness. read more

I lost my glasses right before my wedding and they were flexible in seeing me (a new patient at the time) after hours and getting a rush order in. This is the best optometrist I have been to in my lifetime and blessed me with the best eyeglass frames that has ever laid on my Asian nose bridge. No other optometry has matched both the service and quality. Dr. Banh is a big reason for my positive experience as he spent his precious time and expertise matching me with the right glasses - ones that were light and durable. Specifically, my lenses are heavy and my nose bridge is low but these glasses don't leave nose marks after wearing them a whole day (I got the 141 glasses). I have been wearing these glasses for the past 2.5 years without issue and they're still going strong.
