As soon as I realized we were going to be late, I called the salon and asked if it was still okay for us to come. They said yes, so we came. When we got there, my nail artist was very short and rude with me. I understand that I was late and that it was frustrating, and honestly, I would have completely understood if they had told me they couldn't take us anymore. But since I had called and was told it was okay, I wasn't expecting to feel like we were an inconvenience the entire time. She did my pedicure and manicure and I paid. It wasn't until afterward, when I looked at the prices, that I realized parts of my service had been skipped. I understand that there may not have been enough time because we were late, but I really wish someone had just told me. If I had known I wasn't going to get the full service, I would have happily skipped my manicure and let someone who was waiting have my spot. And now, only three days later, two of my gel nails have already chipped. I know being late was on me, and I'm not upset that they had less time because of that. I just wish there had been better communication and that I had been treated a little more kindly. I would have been much more understanding if someone had simply explained the situation to me.
