Absolutely fabulous dinner tonight. I had the batter fried grouper which is gluten free. Because that meal was so good I ordered two batter fried shrimp appetizers afterwards. Can't say enough about how good it is. Since it is a kitchen was gluten there maybe some cross contamination. I have not had batter fried food in a restaurant in 27 years. The Key Lime pie is also gluten free. I feel light I have gone to heaven. Fantastic service. Thank you to my waitress she was outstanding. This is a hidden gem of a restaurant. The best Shrimp Po Boy I've ever had. Others in our group had the Cheeseburger, Salmon, Groupon Reuben, salad, clams, chicken fingers, & butterfly shrimp. We all truly enjoyed our food. Our server James was very friendly and attentive. So great food and great service, with amazing views of the water as we sat on their shade deck. My only complaint was there isn't much room in the ladies bathroom stall, especially with a wet bathing suit. read more

Great small place screaming old Florida. We just sat at the bar for a drink and coconut shrimp. We came a little early so we were able to sit right down. I had a view of the kitchen and was next to the waitress station. The reason I say that is because I think it's important to note that I was really satisfied of how well things flowed here it's was so well orchestrated. Great Location close to the beach. However, our service was lack luster with Jenna making faces the whole time after getting our order wrong and us saying something to her about it. She kept talking to another team member about how she isn't making her ends meet working at the establishment. It was a little awkward overhearing this while my wife and I were just trying to enjoy our experience. Her service was lack luster and we felt like we were bothering her with any request. We will not be returning after this experience. The food was ok but a little pricey for what it was. But that's a lot of places in Naples now a days. read more

This place is Naples landmark, it's been here for ages and, when I mentioned it to my grandma, she recalled visiting Buzz's in the 90s. We were lucky to get outdoor seating with the view of the inlet. We ordered cocktails, skinny margherita and key lime tini and meal-wise we got chili shrimp and their famous grouper Reuben sandwich. Both of the meals were good nice view. No parking and not many tables. Definitely a local gem. Another great meal at Buzz's. Had the fried Grouper Reuben sandwich tonight (couldn't help myself, it's the best!!). Got a side of their coleslaw, which is fresh and full of flavor. Also ordered a side of french fries; these unfortunately, missed the mark. Wish they had fresh fries, but if you're going to stay with frozen I would definitely choose a better quality fry. They were jam-packed tonight and the service was simply ok. They have raised their prices and it's getting a bit expensive to dine here. My Grouper Reuben is now up to $19! Also, they no longer have Yuengling on draft. The only draft they offer is Bud Light They do have some beer available in cans and I got a local High 5. Regrettably, they are charging $6.50 for this can of beer and IMO that's way over the top! read more

My grandmother loved this place and would always get the grouper sandwich, so I decided to come here and order her usual. I had the blackened fish and my father ordered the fried grouper. I rarely leave bad reviews but this was so upsetting that I felt I needed to. Spent $80 to park here for two cars. Went to the beach and some of our group went to the restaurant to check the menu and come for an early dinner. They were told they had to buy a T-shirt for their daughter if they couldn't enter. Totally get it since she was in shorts and a swim top. Bought the shirt and then the hostess was insanely rude. Rolling eyes, annoyed by the question of a reservation, annoyed by menu question...After a few hours back at the beach and deciding we would eat elsewhere, we had a child get sick. When asking for a bag to take in the car with us, we were told we had to buy a tshirt. For a puking kid. Also super rude hostess. We had a large party, will to spend $$$$, but the two rude hostesses were so off putting I'd prob never go back. read more

The service was good. The food was horrible! I have lived here for years and thought it would be fun to check it out because it's been around so long. It's a total tourist trap. The " hush puppies " were dry and the seafood was so disgusting in them. Both of our entrees were so bad we took one bite and sent them back. Excellent location with parking! New menu- prices are inflated but you're paying for location. The exterior is adorable. Staff was helpful. We had ceviche - split review- I loved it but hubby said it was on the sweet side. Grouper Reuben _ it's really just a grouper sandwich with LOT of slaw. Lost the grouper in all that slaw- wish I would have just gotten a grouper sandwich and skipped the inflated famous Reuben price. Hubby had salmon and baked potato and tropical rice. Rice is a love it or hate it item- very odd taste and wasn't a hit at our table. My 12 yo preferred the half pound burger because he felt he was starving. My daughter was not that hungry so ordered the kids burger off kids menu- when they came out- same burger. We paid $10 for kids burger and $17 for regular burger. So if your kid qualifies for a kids meal and wants the adult burger - be aware- same burger. I had the seaside spritz - taste was a little off- not enough aperol or too much club soda- hard to decide. Overall, we really enjoyed our time there and the food was acceptable. We knew we were going to pay more because of the location and we were fine with that. Plus, it was Fourth of July and we were just happy they had open parking. read more

This is a cute restaurant across the street from Vanderbilt Beach, on a canal. It is rustic and has Florida charm on the inside and has some nice outside seating as well. The food is OK but a bit pricey for what it is. A Caesar salad with coconut shrimp was OK. The shrimp were pretty good, but the salad had too much cheese and dressing, and the size was overwhelming , as it could've fed at least three people. My husband had a huge Caprese salad with delicious blackened shrimp on top. Our waitress put on a fresh pot of decaf for me, which I appreciated after feeling cold from the beach. My husband's piña colada tasted pretty bad; very artificial. Since it's so easy to make a good piña colada with pineapple juice, and coco Lopez, or cream of coconut, there's no excuse for serving such a terrible one. I wouldn't order cocktails here, unless it's something basic. read more

The vibe during the summer evening is nice and casual; the service was okay; the food was a big disappointment. The grouper sandwich comes with the french fries served by most meh restaurants in Naples--small, from frozen, fried hard. The sandwich was served on a large day-old roll and lost in it was a very small grouper patty, no more than 3-4 ounces for the hefty price of $28. Others in my party had a grouper platter with a nice piece of fish and 2 sides for the high price of $38. Buzz's reputation for good food is way overrated. read more

Rude staff !!! Hostess and bar staff totally rude . Drinks are premixed by the bartender in scuzzy containers. Would have thought this was charming but honestly the employees were so blatantly RUDE , that I am annoyed at the whole experience or lack there of . The ritz Carlton employees suggested it, told us hey go walk across to it for a quick bite . We put our name in as a walk up hostess was annoyed with her coworkers and didn't make eye contact. Waited for a while, then bar seats opened, so we decided to do that instead.asked the bartender in a very nice way , hi can we sit here? Is it first come first serve or are people waiting for these seats? We were just being courteous. When we asked, can we sit here? She gave us shot us a rude look and said I guess if you're able to sit down. A real wise crack. And just a jerk and her drinks were terrible. She was bragging about her premade drinks that the owner helps her with. Drinks are disgusting. We ordered food that she basically threw down in front of us after letting it sit forever while she was yapping and talking with some locals.
