coconut latte (foreground), cappuccino with cinnamon (background) and banana nut muffin

What a lovely experience! We stopped by last Saturday for a midmorning snack and pick-me-up. The muffin was a delight - flavorful and freshly baked with lots of nuts! The coffee was hot and velvety. Service was quick and efficient. Love that they use reusable dishes for orders in-house! It's a busy place with people popping in and out, but there's adequate seating between inside and outside, and the vibe feels relaxed without feeling sleepy. Glad I finally got to try this place out; I will DEFINITELY be returning!

This place is amazing! And although I didn't order Turkish coffee, I'm glad I found it! I wanted to try everything in the menu, like the Greek frappe! What?!! Anyway, the staff is welcoming, ambiance is perfect, and the elderberry croissants are a must try! I'm very happy I found it!

Food is great! Service is even better. Great place to have coffee and a pastry. I love the homemade breakfast sandwiches. Food is homemade and fresh. This is way better than Starbucks and family owned. Need more of this

"I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. Felt like home, and l mean it! Everything was cooked and served with love, pricing is fair and transparent - definitely value for money. Super awesome breakfast spot. We got two breakfast sandwiches and a few coffees. The sandwiches were great, the eggs were seasoned and freshly cooked to order. The bread it was served on was fresh and soft. I think it was the owner that greeted us when we arrived and he said that it would be a good sandwich or our money back. Needless to say he still has our money. The coffee was delicious and I appreciate all the choices they have sugar free and the different milks.

Spinach and feta puff with a salad dressing was amazing

If you can order ahead, do it--you won't regret the extra planning. These folks are hand-crafting a masterpiece for your mouth, and that takes time. Trust me, it's worth the wait. This place takes me straight back to Philly hoagies in 1983. So yes hands down go for the Hoagie. What impressed me even more is the quality and service at this establishment. Wow. They treat everyone like family. Warm greetings and such a welcoming all encompassing atmosphere when you walk in. They didn't even realize I had ordered ahead. Especially first visit. I was allowed to browse the imported food section as it is delicatessen at its core. That just so happens to serve prepared and prepackaged foods. All of which are outstanding. I don't even know if I want to share what other delicious delights I enjoy as I feel one should go on their own culinary adventures as well. So my big take away. Best Italian Sub in Naples.

Update on my take home of the lasagna and Spanish ravioli…read more Ravioli was good. The wife complained the pasta was a little thick, but I was ok with it. For $12 you get 16 pieces. Plenty for 2-3 people. The lasagna. This might be my biggest disappointment this year. Lasagna is one of my favorite dishes, I don't know if I've ever had one I couldn't finish... until this day. I dunno, maybe the beef went bad? At first I thought it was the cheese. I was confused, it had a chemical smell to it. I was thinking maybe this is some exotic Italian cheese they put on top, but when I isolated the ingredients to try to figure out what was giving off the smell and taste, it ended up being the meat. The ingredients said "beef" but I've never had beef taste like this before. I've literally never thrown out lasagna up until this point. I tried to power through it, but stopped after eating about 20%. The thought of taking another bite still haunts me. I was really hoping I was going to love this place. So sad.

Steve made my hot sub ( I like that they have both hot and cold options) . The Commodore was quite tasty and very filling. It is fine for a really nice sandwich, but it is somewhat pricey. I'm sure the rents are sky high in that area. I certainly couldn't afford them for a party. But I would definitely return if looking for a hot sub! I almost forgot to add that Steve said the bread is imported from Canada and baked fresh daily! It was soooo good. Meat to bread ratio was also excellent.

Offer you a coffee while you wait. That's the seduction. -The small (aka "Minnow") Caprese Pesto had lots of greens. Mozzarella? Not so much. -The regular ("Submarine") Tuna Tsunami (really just Tuna and Cheese)? Unseasoned tuna, with cheap, flavorless, industrial provolone. -The chips were actually the strongest thing in the bag. I could acquiesce if the sandwiches were memorable. Alas, they were not. YCS calls itself a "...new type of upscale sandwich shop." What does that mean, exactly? High prices. Quality seems not to be much of a consideration. Blatant rip off, even by Naples standards.

The drinks were creative and tasty, and while the wine list is short, it is very well curated. We started with the octopus, the bread and butter, and the mushrooms as appetizers. All three were excellent, but the octopus was the clear standout. I had never seen it served in that particular style before. It was a completely new preparation for me and absolutely delicious. The bread and butter was also finger licking good. For my main course, I ordered the cod gnocchi. I am still thinking about this dish three days later because the flavors and textures were so unusual and memorable. To finish the meal, we shared the chocolate tart and the tiramisu bread pudding. Both were delicious, though they did not feel quite as uniquely extraordinary as every other bite and sip we had throughout the night. One of our party members is gluten and dairy free, and our waitress was incredibly helpful in navigating the menu for her. She was thrilled with the shrimp from the daily specials menu. My only minor critique is that I wish they had a dessert option that would have worked for her dietary restrictions. Overall, this was a fantastic meal with top tier service.

Most of the reviews seem to fall…read moreinto two camps, people who absolutely rave about the food and service, and others who feel it's very good but not quite living up to the hype and that prices are too high. My experience landed somewhere in the middle. First, the positives. The staff was truly excellent. Our server, Thomas, was the highlight of the evening. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely great at what he does. Everyone we interacted with was welcoming and professional, and the service throughout the meal was fantastic. Except for the one employee who worked at the bike shop next-door that were a demeaning T-shirt and acted like he was the boss getting his water jug refilled. The food itself was very good, and clearly well prepared. I had the chicken schnitzel, which was served on a wonderful sauce with slices of what tasted like lightly pickled daikon radish. The dish was interesting and well executed, but I found myself wishing for a little more balance perhaps a small side salad or something fresh to break up the richness of the schnitzel. That was sort of the theme of the evening for me. Everything was good, sometimes very good (bread and butter exceptional) but it lacked that extra depth or daring flavor that makes you stop mid-bite and tell everyone at the table, "You have to try this." The burger was also excellent, but again, it didn't quite reach that memorable "best burger I've ever had" level you hope for when visiting a place with so many five-star reviews. I even found myself dipping the burger into the schnitzel sauce just to add a little more punch. To be clear, I don't mind the prices at all. When dining somewhere with such consistently glowing reviews, though, you walk in hoping to leave thinking it was one of the best meals you've had. I didn't quite leave with that feeling. In fact, I debated ordering dessert but ultimately decided that I might be left disappointed so we decided to skip it and head to Kilwins instead. Overall, it was a very good meal with exceptional service, but just shy of the "wow" factor that would make it a five-star experience for me.
