Great little waterfront comfort food restaurant. Surrounded by everything Naples high end, this is a very simple low key restaurant with just plain good food. Loved the seafood fritters and our party of 6 all went for the famous grouper Reuben with some different preparations. Almost not a word spoken during the meal because it was sooo good. Enjoyed the spicy marg too.

Chicken Caprese with Tropical Rice and Coleslaw

Was seated right away. Had a seat just inside the deck to keep the wind off of us since it was dark and a little cool. Waitress was sitter friendly and nice. I ordered a key lime tini to drink. My husband got a Painkiller. Both were so so good. Mine was like a dessert! I ordered Chicken Caprese for dinner. The tomatoes were so huge and fresh and ripe. Chicken had such great flavor and perfectly cooked. My husband got Mahi with a key lime butter sauce and tropical rice and broccolini. He said it was all very good and cooked perfectly. It was pretty loud in there with everyone talking but it is kind of a small place. Loved the little lights on the table to make it more romantic. Very good dinner. Great service. Definitely would come back.

    Outside view with Lighthouse.

Good food and drinks with a beautiful view from the deck. Great service from James and his team. James told us a "secret" way to let him know we want attention so he won't bother us (move the ketchup bottle to the server-side of the table). As with most restaurants in Naples, we expect to pay 30% more for 50% better quality. Works for me...sometimes.

I parked near their walkway sign and once I ventured through, it's such a lovely walk up to the restaurant with a bridge over water with fountains and tons of blooms everywhere. Once inside, I was met with a bright, crisp dining room that was clean and comfortable. We started with cocktails and I got their version of a Manhattan, the hog-hattan. It's made with Whistlepig 6 year and came out on the rocks. Manhattans not served up are kinda a pet peeve of mine--but this one? Truly and honestly one of the best Manhattans of my life. The server did not steer me wrong. It was exquisite. For my dinner, my dining companion and I opted for a deal they had that allowed you a starter and main for a reasonable price. I got the kale salad for my starter which was bursting with flavor--chopped kale, brussels sprouts, butternut squash, chevre, and a bright citrus-y vinaigrette--what's not to love? For my main, I got their Mahi Mahi which was also perfectly executed. It was served over a bed of rice and asparagus with chopped mango and a sauce (not sure what kind but balanced the dish perfectly) on top. I would have a hard time not ordering this dish again. It was craveable. Our server was lovely and provided wonderful recommendations for both myself and my dining companion. No notes! Get to it!

I read it was a little tricky to find, because it sits in the middle of a little resort. It's a great walk over a little bridge that crosses over a pond. It resembles a seaside restaurant with lots of seating inside and outside. I sat at the bar and was enthusiastically greeted by the bartender. I asked for her recommendations and I went with the hogfish sandwich. Luckily, she told me I could get it grilled and blackened instead of fried. I could tell they knew how to cook fish because it came out perfectly. Most would probably think it was undercooked, but that's how fish should be cooked. I appreciated this attention to detail and thought it was delicious.

We left with what appears to be numerous sand flea bites covering our feet, legs, and arms. I personally have well over 100 bites, and the discomfort has continued to make the past several days of our vacation miserable. We were actively slapping and killing the fleas while sitting at the restaurant, and other guests around us were also commenting on them. I understand that I'm visiting from out of town and may not have known what to expect from dining directly on the sand. However, I have a serious concern with Turtle Club actively promoting the experience of "digging your feet in the sand" without clearly warning guests about the potential for sand fleas or explaining whether the area is regularly treated or maintained to prevent this issue. Is this something Turtle Club routinely experiences? Are the outdoor dining areas treated for insects? If this is a known issue, guests deserve to be made aware before choosing to dine outside. Unfortunately, as much as we enjoyed the food and sunset, the outdoor dining experience was simply not worth the consequences we've dealt with afterward. For future guests: bring bug spray and be prepared, or consider sitting inside. I wish we had known before choosing the outdoor experience. Turtle Club, I hope you take this feedback seriously and consider doing more to protect and properly inform your guests.

We had a Mojito and a pina colada to start. Ordered our dinners: grilled scallop basket, blackened grouper sandwich, and blackened mahi mahi sandwich. We must all have been feeling virtuous, because we all opted for mixed veggies instead of fries! I was super happy with my scallops. They were perfectly done, minimal spice which allowed the delicate flavor to shine. The veggies were surprisingly great - cooked just right, not squishy as sometimes happens. Sandwich eaters enjoyed theirs as well. Grouper eater says "very moist. Tasty. I recommend the blackened." We were unable to resist getting chocolate cake for dessert. So good! Our server was nice and attentive (maybe giving off slight Disney theme park host vibes). We were having an early dinner so there were plenty of tables. Decor was thatched roof and beachy, with a dock out back with the potential for providing entertainment watching folk maneuver the space (and low water, depending on the tide)! With its waterfront location, lively atmosphere, and boats pulling right up to the dock, it delivers exactly the kind of Southwest Florida experience visitors are hoping to find. What keeps us coming back, however, is the food. Unlike many waterfront tourist spots that rely solely on the view, Coconut Jack's consistently serves excellent food and drinks. The shrimp basket is a favorite, the mahi tacos are packed with flavor, and both the grouper entrée and grouper sandwich are outstanding. Even the burgers are surprisingly good. One standout that deserves special mention is the New England clam chowder, which is absolutely top shelf and among the best you'll find in the area. The atmosphere is energetic and fun, with dining right on the water and plenty of people watching. Whether you're arriving by car or boat, the restaurant has a casual party vibe that feels quintessentially Florida. The staff is enthusiastic, friendly, and works hard to keep the good times rolling, even when the restaurant is packed. Rating: 5/5 Great food, strong drinks, beautiful waterfront views, and a lively atmosphere. Coconut Jack's is a Bonita Springs classic that delivers every time.
