    Cappuccino in a cute mug

Very good food, excellent cappuccino. Lots of gluten free options. Cute inside but the seats were a bit uncomfortable for me. Neat outdoor seating options. Service was super great. Definitely a highlight in town

Super long wait times but the food was delicious! It came out very late and looked like the locals knew the deal because they ordered and then by the time they sat down, they had their breakfast. Cute ambiance and local crafts for sale. Coffee was quick and easy!

Very cute place. Delicious food and great service. Get there early because we got there at 8 AM - as soon as they opened - and by the time we finished it was almost full!

This was the Staledt pastries and they only had 2. They said they would be closed and baked next week. These should have been thrown away and not charged for.

Table. Sorry nothings spectacular just really full in here and don't want to add faces. More pics to come.

Wow! Unbelievable how much food you get. I ordered the gravy and biscuits, with potatoes, bacon, and fried eggs. When it comes to you, it's kinda like what we call in the south a scrambler, with everything in one bowl. It was so large I ate on that for breakfast, lunch, and finished it for dinner. I was very impressed with the service, our waitress was so busy, but never missed a beat to make sure our glasses stayed full, and that everything was good for us. Will be going back as soon as I come back to visit. Oh and before I forget, the porch and garden to the right of the door you walk in, was beautiful in the winter, I'm certain in the spring it is gorgeous.

Signature biscuits and gravy loaded full order

On my way to Rochester and randomly decided to stop here for brunch. What a hidden gem! I had the loaded signature biscuits and gravy which was absolutely delicious and very filling. I was surprised how much food there in one plate. You definitely will not leave hungry just eating this! It was also super tasty and a had a nice blend of flavors. The coffee was ok. Our waitress was pleasant and super nice. My only suggestion for improvement was to maybe consider having more staff over the weekends? It seems a little busy and there was one waitress and one cook from what I could tell. Highly recommend you stop here if you're randomly in the area.

Cute little cafe off the highway. Service was pleasant, clean environment, lovely little spot for coffee, small bites or to sit for down food.

Special Japanese cucumber salad sandwich and chicken salad croissant sandwich (highly recommend!)

We were in the midst of a long car ride and wanted a place to eat that wasn't associated with a rest stop. We were not expecting such a cute little respite to relax and recharge! It was almost closing time but they told us it was no problem for our party of 4 to be seated and to order whatever we wanted, the kitchen would stay open. We weren't rushed at all and sat in the back garden enjoying the greenery. The food was delicious and everyone was so friendly. We learned that it was the one year anniversary of new ownership and chatted with them about their experience. You can tell how much they care which makes it so welcoming. Definitely recommend and hope to come back soon!

French Woods parents! this is the place for breakfast! After reading a lot of sketchy reviews for breakfast spots in the region, we settled on Butterfields Cafe as they advertised Biscuits and Gravy on the weekend. As a manly man, this place is Supercute! With great smiling service, thanks Tiffany, and yummy food. Well worth the visit, for true Country Breakfast fans!

Wow. This place was amazing! Seems like it's placed in the middle of nowhere, and once you enter, you are transported to the most amazing little cafe. Sweet employees, fast service, simple and inviting decor. The coffee was HOT and the specials were super fun!

Rude service, rude owner, terrible prices. Terrible food. Food without cat hair isn't option. Workers don't work.

I have been to Diana's before but I haven't been since a little before Covid as I live in NJ...This establishment makes you feel like home. When you get a coffee it comes In a mug that you would have in your house. In NJ you go to a diner and you get a small branded mug etc here it's more like a mug from there personal collection of random mugs. The owners/staff are SUPER friendly and welcoming. Before I even got to PA I told my buddy Justin that I have to go to Diana's. They are master of the griddle here! Food is fresh and delicious. I got the 2 egg plate with home fries (ask for the onions and peppers added in) and over medium eggs and sausage. The sausage is so so good. Hand formed patty crisp on the outside and juicy inside. I also got a homemade cinnamon bun and ordered a bunch to go. As the menu suggest ask them to butter and griddle the buns. This will change your life. Hospitality at its finest and country breakfast at its finest. This is a gem of the Honesdale/Tyler Hill area. I have a special place in my heart for this place!

Eggs and buckwheat pancakes are great, hash browns are on the spicy side. I got the Olaf, which was a bit too much, good but too rich for me. The exterior is misleading & easy to pass by if you're not in the know - don't let it fool you! Breakfast is only served on weekends between 8 AM & 1 PM & we just happened to be there. Service was extra warm & welcoming - we had our pup with us & it was a not so great weekend weather wise & while we offered to order & sit outside at a table as to not disrupt other diners, they managed to put us in their back room so no one had to eat out in the cold (Pepper can't write her own review, but she says thank you, two paws up!) While the menu is small, one item is better than the next & you can't go wrong no matter what you choose! Prices are reasonable for everything you get & in today's economy, it's a rare find! The apple pancakes were to die for & honestly, the biggest pancakes I've ever seen! Fresh biscuits with maple butter (YUM!) Don't pass up on the extra creamy & delicious chocolate milk! Seriously - can I get an IV drip of that? This place is the embodiment of farm to table (obviously). Zero frills, but full authenticity of a working farm. Wonderful place & wonderful people. They have lots of their goods for sale too, so you can take Buck Hill Farm home with you! We bought their delicious bourbon maple syrup, fresh herbal tea, hot sauce, & took some ribs back to the house to grill for Father's Day! Plenty of full & happy bellies even after leaving the farm. After breakfast, swing by the chicken coop & thank the ladies for the delicious eggs! LOL We hope to visit again next time we are in the area!
