french fries in a styrofoam container

What a disappointment. Ordered a 6 piece tender meal with fries and a order of buffalo fries. The 6 piece tender meal only had about 15 fries in it, and the buffalo fries barely had any sauce on the chicken and the fries were just laying on top with no ranch on it. I also ordered a sweet tea and it was not sweet and had no ice. And the service was terrible, we waited about twice as long as everyone else in the drive thru.

Cost: $5-$25 Food Quality: Excellent Decor: Fast Food Service: Very Good Cuisine Type: American/Fast Food In the South and Southwest good fried chicken isn't hard to find. Sometimes the best fried chicken comes from the most unlikely hole in the wall (or even a gas station). So if want to eat fresh, not greasy, crispy fried chicken Bush's chicken is the place to stop. Bushes does beat KFC and Popeyes and does not leave you sick after consumption. So next time you're on a road trip and start to crave that crispy outside and juicy inside of Bush's Fried Chicken you can find a close second anywhere. Straight up and standalone, this is the best fried chicken in America amongst the fried Chicken franchises.

The bushes location in lacy lake view is the best. Friendly , and fast service always, and great quality food.

Popeyes, church's and Chicago style chicken is 300 times better. Plus, Bushs sides are bland and out the can n cardboard box.

We liked the food so much that we stopped here on the way back from OK We got the fried shrimp basket and shrimp poboy the first time and got the Boom boom Shrimp starter, Atchafalaya Etoufee and, Gumbo and rounded it off with Beignets the second time on Mother's day. Food is absolutely delish. Not visiting this place should be a felony

RATING - 3.65 Cajun…read moreCraft is found just off of one of the main roads that's runs along Waco. Off its first appearance, the restaurant appears as your classic no-frills, get-what-you-asked for establishment. There is lots of outdoor seating, very fair pricing, and a surprisingly extensive menu; I doubt you'll fail to find something you enjoy here. Overall it seemed like a location that would be bumping in conjunction with Baylor college nights, post church service, or otherwise Waco-oriented affairs. My only complaint was really the smell. We came near close when some workers were cleaning, however there was an apparent chemical stench within the patio, between the inside seating and outdoor seating. My partner ordered the sausage po boy, while I ordered the fried chicken plate, wish mashed potatoes & gravy + green beans. The wait was rather long, which can be attributed towards the chicken's cook time - which might be front scratch. After we got our plates, I certainly couldn't complain. The chicken was decently sized and decadent with flavor. Consistent, strong Cajun spicing littered the tray and chicken, while its interior was extremely juicy and filled with flavor; additionally, it still maintained structure and provided a nice crunch on the surface. The mashed potatoes were equally as enjoyable. The gravy complemented the potatoes well, and established an equilibrium through texture. The green beans however, were not my favorite. They initially appeared fine on the surface, but became watered down and lacking in flavor the farther down the bowl you went. I would not be surprised if these beans were canned. I would certainly find myself eating here again. Its biggest appeals are the prices, genuine quality of food, and disposition. It is not perfect, but it is more than satisfactory. If you cannot get over the minor inconveniences that you may run into here, then you probably shouldn't be eating Cajun anyways.

World class customer service…read more We are a house divided when it comes to breakfast. Some like another restaurant, some like Chick Fil A, so many times we get breakfast from both. This morning, when I went to the other restaurant first, they left the coffee out of my order. I didn't notice that mistake until I was in the pickup at the Chick Fil A. The Chick Fil A team member was approaching my car to get my name while I was lamenting out loud that the neighboring restaurant had stiffed me on the coffee and now I was going to have to go back over there and wait to get it (even though I was running late on everything that morning) When he came back to my car to bring me the order, he had a cup of Chick Fil A coffee in hand for me. He fixed somebody else's customer service issue, and for that, I was blown away! He saved me time on a day in which I was already running late, and he saved me the frustration of having to deal with the issue at the other location. It's small, subtle acts like these that really build customer loyalty. Chick Fil A has always had a consistent customer experience across locations, but you really see the depth of their training when employees are allowed to think/act for themselves in a way that serves the establishment. I will be back more and be less inclined to have a "house divided" when we're getting breakfast from now on. One stop will do!

No fault of…read moremanagement or Employees BUT the quality of the Grilled chicken has really gone downhill, on Thursday ordered the Grilled chicken patty separate - when I got back home the Grilled patty was so thin and in between the grill marks the raised parts were gummy not appetising at all, I had to throw it away. Now with so many individuals eating chicken as part of a high protein meal this Grilled chicken did not live up to past quality, flavor and texture. This has happened at other locations also, so it has to be a corporate decision!
