The bushes location in lacy lake view is the best. Friendly , and fast service always, and great quality food.

Went there for a tender roll, but the employee switched my debit card with another customer's and when I called 12 min later on 2/8/26 at 8:55pm the person who called themself the assistant manager proved to be unhelpful and disrespectful with the way they handled their mistake of swapping my card. "Denise" refused to provide her name or provide the manager's name to get my issue resolved stating she didn't know the managers name because she was new. She expected me to go up there and return a strangers card for her to save face. This was ridiculous. read more

What a disappointment. Ordered a 6 piece tender meal with fries and a order of buffalo fries. The 6 piece tender meal only had about 15 fries in it, and the buffalo fries barely had any sauce on the chicken and the fries were just laying on top with no ranch on it. I also ordered a sweet tea and it was not sweet and had no ice. And the service was terrible, we waited about twice as long as everyone else in the drive thru. read more

Can't believe they actually serve day old chicken at this place. Well if it wasn't day old that's how it tasted. I order a four piece tender meal. Upon receiving my meal, everything looked great the side were hot and I guess it's my fault for assuming the chicken would be too (Seeing that the place was booming with guess). I take a bite of one of my tenders and it was like okay I got a bad one, NOPE ALL FOUR TENDERS, ALL FOUR! Almost like they got them out of someone's car window after sitting there for hours. I'm more upset that I had to turn around in rush our traffic to get back to the establishment and if anyone know this location knows how bad traffic can get. Got home ready to eat not 1 piece was edible was dried chicken was brown to black looking meat under all hard crust. This is not a first time this has happened to me . I can shamelessly say that I absolutely love Bush's chicken. I've only seen Bush's chicken in the Waco area and I'm super happy that they are expanding to Houston. My family of 5 always gets the family pack of 30 tenders, 3 family sides, freshly baked bread rolls, and 2 huge cups of their delicious gravy. For the family sides, we get the corn, corn nuggets, and mashed potatoes. I definitely think that you should get corn nuggets over french fries any day. Corn nuggets are basically delicious fried balls of cream corn, definitely a must. The one thing that ties the whole meal together is the nice, hot gravy. If you put that gravy on anything, i'll eat it. I dip not only the chicken tenders but also everything else. I absolutely love it. Because Bush's is near Baylor University, they offer Baylor student discounts every Sunday at a certain time. I will definitely be coming next year. read more

Came over here after a night of shopping with my sister in law. We were gonna get food for the family. We settled on the 15pc mixed meal... The girl took our order and it must've taken a half hour for it to come out. When it came out, we were so ready to be home that we did'nt check it. When we got home, we saw that they just threw in 9 pieces of chicken, it was all dark (which is fine, to be honest. Their breasts are usually dry), we only got one side and NO ROLLS! Fries were stale and flavorless, as usual. AND they forgot the tea, which is common, so I don't usually complain about that. When I got home, we called them to tell them about it and the woman that answered the phone had one of the meanest attitudes I've had to deal with in a while. She offered for me to go back and pick up the 6 pieces of chicken and rolls and fries the next day before noon. No thanks. We just won't be back. read more

Need to change their protocol for processing credit/debit card transactions for drive through customers immediately, law suit waiting to happen. My card left my sight for an excessive amount of time, much longer than necessary to properly process payment and return. The restaurant was not busy. No excuse, very unprofessional and poor procedure. The manager could use some additional training as well, terrible demeanor when dealing with customers. I do not recommend giving any business to this location. It's worth a drive elsewhere to keep your card information safe and avoid unpleasant service by the manager. read more
