World class customer service. We are a house divided when it comes to breakfast. Some like another restaurant, some like Chick Fil A, so many times we get breakfast from both. This morning, when I went to the other restaurant first, they left the coffee out of my order. I didn't notice that mistake until I was in the pickup at the Chick Fil A. The Chick Fil A team member was approaching my car to get my name while I was lamenting out loud that the neighboring restaurant had stiffed me on the coffee and now I was going to have to go back over there and wait to get it (even though I was running late on everything that morning) When he came back to my car to bring me the order, he had a cup of Chick Fil A coffee in hand for me. He fixed somebody else's customer service issue, and for that, I was blown away! He saved me time on a day in which I was already running late, and he saved me the frustration of having to deal with the issue at the other location. It's small, subtle acts like these that really build customer loyalty. Chick Fil A has always had a consistent customer experience across locations, but you really see the depth of their training when employees are allowed to think/act for themselves in a way that serves the establishment. I will be back more and be less inclined to have a "house divided" when we're getting breakfast from now on. One stop will do! read more

The employees are great at this location, service is always fast and always accurate. No fault of management or Employees BUT the quality of the Grilled chicken has really gone downhill, on Thursday ordered the Grilled chicken patty separate - when I got back home the Grilled patty was so thin and in between the grill marks the raised parts were gummy not appetising at all, I had to throw it away. Now with so many individuals eating chicken as part of a high protein meal this Grilled chicken did not live up to past quality, flavor and texture. Ordered an iced vanilla coffee. It came out extremely better the first time because they added too much cold brew and not enough milk at the top when I asked to have them remake it just a little bit better they were saying any adjustments for future reference would be an extra charge, even though whenever whenever I had an issue at other locations to have them remake a drink that I already paid for they were willing to do it no problem. I don't know why this Chick-fil-A. They stingy on how they make shit when it's a simple yeah let me just add more milk to your drink no problem but instead now I have to pay extra. The absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced from a chick fillet. They forgot my sandwich which I didn't notice until I returned home. They were willing to replace my sandwich "which I had paid for duh" but wouldn't even give me drink for my troubles. With the cost of gas these days I had to pay $5 for their mistake. Dine in experience was so bad. Food was brought out in a timely manner, however they forgot our drinks & gave us the wrong order, she said she'd be right back at this point the lunch rush was gone. She never came back with drinks so I gave up on trying to correct my order!!So I got up & I went to stand by the cash register for my drinks and 3 employees just stared and walked away, same thing happened when I went up to ask for a bag to go. The idea that I cannot see a menu prior to ordering on the name of efficiency is wrong. What happened to the cards that the attendants used to carry? I try and frequent these restaurants but it is becoming more difficult when I have to go in the store to see a menu before I order. Bring the cards back. This place is always good no matter where I go to it seems like the city has a Chick-fil-A in the Chick-fil-A is usually really good. I like the grilled chicken salad but I wish there was less lettuce and more tomatoes, cheese, and other things of that nature, the chicken sandwiches are delicious as usual sometimes the size of the chicken patty is a little inconsistent, but almost always the taste is right on. read more

Stopped by just before noon today to place a large order for take out. Traffic was backed up onto Franklin, 3 lines of drive thru service. People outside taking orders. Inside lobby was almost completely full. Employee working lobby area. The beautiful young lady (according to the receipt her name is Olivia) who took my order was kind, friendly and very knowledgeable & helpful. While I was waiting on the food, she came over to where I was standing to inform me they had platters for large orders and that you could call it in ahead of time. Food was quickly brought out to me. I'm so upset right now so please excuse my review if it's harsh. First of all, this is our very first time to a Chick-fil-A ever in our life. We are visiting family in Waco Texas. We stopped here to eat lunch on our way to San Antonio for the weekend. We ordered a grilled chicken club sandwich. I got a grilled chicken sandwich with nothing on it. When my husband went to tell them that they made a mistake the employee was very kind and nice but he came out with the same plain grilled chicken sandwich and told us that they wanted to charge us for the bacon and cheese. It was their mistake we asked for a grilled chicken club. So then the employee went back and told the manager that I was a little bit upset about it because it was not my mistake but theirs. He brought out a little bag with bacon and cheese so I could put it on my sandwich after it's already been sitting out a bit. They wouldn't take it back and make a new sandwich the correct way. So I sent it back and I asked for my money back. I'm very disappointed in this Chick-fil-A I had heard so many good things these restaurants. Usually a decent spot to dine, I only have a few qualms: 1)There is usually a line inside and in drive thru so expect some delay 2) I've had an issue with the quality of food from time to time. I've actually issued a complaint with their Cares website, sadly all they offered me was a small fry coupon. This Chick-Fil-A is pretty terrible. Every time we've got food it just hasn't been the normal Chick-Fil-A standards we're used to. Pretty sure they throw frozen nuggets right into the fryer; they're soggy, chewy, and never hot. The fries are usually burnt. The bread for the sandwiches is flat like a tortilla. And the pickles are pretty terrible. The line is very long and I waited 10 minutes (when it was supposed to only be a 1 minute wait) for soggy nuggets. Just do yourself a favor and go to the Chick-Fil-A by Baylor, it's much better quality and faster. read more

No, no. Get this. So I've had a shit-ass day at work. Boss was on me because I was twenty minutes late again, apparently we aren't supposed to just "throw files away," and Pamela from HR was on me about filling out my background check form AGAIN. I've avoided Pamela in the break room, the elevator, the parking lot, company Christmas parties, staff meetings, and every other public space for almost a year now. When I time it wrong and she catches me, I always say -- and I mean, every time -- "yeah, I'll be by this afternoon." And she believes me every time. I think she's lonely really. Anyway, so today I was getting off work and I know there's no clean dishes at home, on account of the fact I broke my dishwasher trying to rinse a few parts to a '93 Toyota Tercel I'm rebuilding. I know. Thing's gonna be a total beast once it's up and running again. But I gotta eat, ya know? And I don't wanna fuck with Wendy's and her clapbacks tonight so I'm sitting there thinking, "Man, where do I go in this town?" And then I see it like El Dorado on the horizon: Chick-fucking-fil-A. I bust a U-turn in the middle of the street because that's what you do at 6 o'clock at night when you remember Chick-fil-A is a thing. I pull into the drive thru even though the line is all the way in the Walmart parking lot. What's ironic is there's a McDonald's right next door. Place is totally gross. One time, I had the flu and I was trying to get to the pharmacy and I had to pull over because I didn't want to puke in that Tercel I was telling you about. This is before it broke down. I didn't have a choice, man. I'm telling you, I threw open the door of that blue Toyota and spewed Campbell's soup all over the parking lot of that nasty McDonald's. I drove over it trying to clean up my mess, but I don't think it worked. And I just never go there anymore. Plus, there's a Chick-fil-A right next door, so why would I? I mean, c'mon. Anyway, I'm in the line and the menu board is way up a mile in front of me. Soccer moms and Wednesday night Christians are packin' the place. But then I see this lady holding a fucking iPad or something and I'm like, "No way. This is some Elon Musk shit right here." And she takes my order. Right there!!! I'm like, "The hard part's over now!" I get on my phone because I wanted to know when Arcade Fire started. A buddy of mine and me got in a fight over it the other day. I don't know why we didn't google it right then and there instead of getting in an all out Irish bar fight, but anyway, I wanted to see that I was right. And yeah, I was. I'm gonna remind him of that tomorrow at work, probably after narrowly averting Pamela for the three-hundredth time in a row. After I discovered I was right and that bar fight should've never happened, I look up to see I'm holding up the whole line because the car in front of me is at the window. This shit is blowing my whole mind. How did this even happen? For a second I wondered if I was in some kind of time warp, if maybe this was a Back to the Future situation and I was messing up the space-time continuum. I pulled up to the window now that the minivan in front of me burned off with their sandwiches and shakes, and this really nerdy but well mannered teenager opens the window to hand me my bag of food. I said, "thank you" because my mother may have been a drunk, but she taught me some god damn manners. And you'll never believe this, but listen to me when I tell you this kid goes, "my pleasure." Damn it! It's over! I am literally never going to eat at another place again in my fucking life. I mean, what is your fucking business model, Mr. Chick? Because you fucking nailed it. We've always supported CFA and have loved the efficiency and friendliness... but now they won't open the dining room (that's not very hospitable is it!?) it's drive-thru only and they have taken away regular chicken strips. One of my favorite items! There's still great service here but we've quit frequenting because of these two things. If you don't want me IN your restaurant I'll go somewhere else. also the other restaurants in Waco have followed suit. I am super disappointed!! This location has very consistent, positive customer service experience and fast service too. The food is always freshly hot and your drink is rarely ever flat. As a whole, the employees are usually all great w/praiseworthy attitudes especially daytime ones, and i know that's not easy! This time the most weirdest thing ever happened to me today as I went thru the drive through around 12:30pm. I found a moldy cup of something at the very bottom of my bag?!?! It's like some bad employee's last day and I guessed they did this on some yolo shyt, no even funny or cool. It was in my salad bag and I was scared to eat my salad, thinking about the prepping process - wondering if it was safe or even clean. I would report it to Chick-Fil-A but last time I reported something, all I got was 2 coupons for free chicken and a promise that training would be reinforced. Considering its fast food chicken and fries (served with class), about what I expected though in hindsight. I have made a report before (only once, last yr) on a very rude employee who singled me out each time on 4 random trips being extremely rude and acting like there was nothing I could do about it anyways. He still works there, a very tall twin younger guy I believe? Now he's super nice fake each time I see him, go figure. Went into the 3rd lane behind another car. Ended up waiting there for 15 minutes watching cars in the other two lanes and the car ahead of me getting served. A lady then came up to me. Instead of apologizing for the wait she told me that they didn't have enough servers to serve me, instead of just rotating the two for three lines until their mistake was fixed. She then moved a come and told me to either leave, or go to the BACK of the other two lane lines, there were also 5 more cars in this same lane behind me. read more

Most Chick-fil-A drive-through's are super quick, but this one is not well managed. I got in line at 10:20 to buy some chicken minis but the line took so long and almost all the lanes were shut down that it took 12 minutes for me to put my order in. by the time I was ordering the employee told me they no longer served chicken minis because breakfast ends at 10:30. I asked her if they could make some because I had been in line before breakfast ended. It just took a really long time she told me to continue to wait in the drive-through line and ask the people when I got to the front of the line, after waiting for 25 minutes total I was told that they had already put the chicken mini supplies away. Everyone was super nice throughout the process but there's a lot of disorganization at this location. I'd recommend another location where it won't take a half hour to not even get the food you came for. read more

This Chick-fil-A is great! As always the staff are courteous and professional. In the rare case of a mistake on an order the manager has given us a credit for our next visit. Now with Covid, they're showing a lot of caution with masks, shields, gloves and distancing. They move fast! When we pulled up to the drive through and seen the line I was shocked but my husband was determined so we stayed. They moved so fast!
