Had to send it back since she's gluten free and also without eggs. The gf bread has eggs so couldn't have her eat it All is good I'd go again but service needs to be better ! Good food is important but having the customer feel appreciated is way better ! Bushfire kitchen is exactly what i'm looking for in a restaurant - delicious, hearty, wholesome food at a good price! I read some of the reviews from other Yelpers and immediately committed to trying it. Today I tried a tri-tip bowl with garlic mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. The garlic mashed potatoes tasted amazing - fluffy with exactly the right amount of seasoning so that it wasn't too salty or too bland. The roasted vegetables were light and refreshing and paired well with the creaminess of the potatoes. The tri-tip was also pretty good, a little over done, but tasted well with the chimichurri sauce that you can choose (among other sauces). My friend got a tuscan chicken sandwich that was enormous and looked incredible too! I'm typically not in the Temecula area, but will definitely make this one of my stops if I'm back - so many more things to try on the menu! read more

We are on the patio under a heater. They prepare orders in the order received with no distinction between phone and live diners. Nice outdoor seating with shade from the heat. The chicken Tuscan sandwich was delightful. Their red wine sangria was so refreshing and not too sweet. A total hidden gem! I'm so happy to have found this place. I love the food here! If you're around these neck of the woods, eat here! The food is homestyle fresh cooking. Try the chicken on your choice of grilled vegetables. Everything here is of your choice, so you can't go wrong picking your entree. There is a few tables to eat inside but I totally recommend eating in their small patio outside (especially during the summer evenings). Smalll and quaint. The tables outside are high tables. Good for groups and families. This isn't a first date restaurant though if you make it to your 3rd - 10th date (good luck) then "yes!" go here and dine. No views to look at during your meal unless you like looking at the building alley, trees, or the Trader Joe's parking lot. You can view your guest or significant other as they eat and then think of my review, because that's what you did! It's located right next door to Trader Joe's. I told you it's kinda hidden. You'd never know it's there from the street? The two times we ordered out in two weeks they completely failed to give us an entire meal. That's a 100% fail rate at receiving a correct order at this restaurant. Have had some really good food from Bushfire, but ordered a burger to go cooked as recommended and it came nearly raw. I like medium rare but the meat was not cooked at all. My wife and I have eaten here numerous times. Most of the time their food is good, but their service is consistently sub par. We called tonight trying to place a TOGO order for ten minutes straight and they never answered the phone. When I drove down there the average cashier said they had a long line and were short staffed so they couldn't answer the phone. I would say 25% of the time I go here they are short staffed. And seeing that they charge $14.99 for a measly six ounces of pre-cooked tri-tip, I don't understand how their owner can't afford to staff up when the demand is clearly there. So I literately waited from 7:31p-7:56p until they finally called my order. All their food is pre-prepared, so I have no clue why it took them 25 minutes to put two small meals in a box and hand it to me. They desperately need to work on their consistent staffing issues as well as their small tri-tip portions. 9/24/17 My wife and I still come here despite their tiny portions because there is a lack of healthy take-out options in Temecula (Everyone should encourage Urban Plates to locate here!). Anyhow, they rarely answer their phone the first time you call, so that is constantly annoying and their customer service is generally unpleasant, but for some reason these last couple of visits their service is drastically better. I was there with family and friends yesterday. There were tables outside, next to the street curb. Our friends asked if two tables could be put together since there was 11 of us. This girl with a ponytail and tattoo arms said "No." I asked why, and she rudely proceeded with some BS as to why, "we were told by the owners we can't have 2 tables side by side," then it was "the fire department doesn't allow it, because if you need to exit you might be trapped." Keep in mind, these tables are literally next to the street, and are 2ft apart. Where the hell would we get trapped???? We were all together, no need for social distance. I know the pandemic has been hard on the restaurant business and because of that it seems like owners should be going out of their way to drive business back toward them. Unfortunately our experience will drive us away! Bushfire has consistently had delicious food ...some of the best for semi fast/ slow cooked food. The prices had always been worth it...until the order is wrong, the food is served on paper plates with plastic forks and the food is cold. Unfortunately our wait staff wasn't budging on taking any responsibility. In a time like now, how you treat a customer will SUPERSEDE even the best quality food -neither is what we experienced. I always order the tri tip sandwich and last night it was big chucks of steak that you couldn't even eat the sandwich. the steak was falling out. Great food at a reasonable price. My family and I walked passed this restaurant many times on our way to Trader Joe's and decided to finally give it a shot. The decor and menu board initially reminded me of "Urban Plates." We've been here a few times now and everything on the menu has exceeded our expectations. I like to go to this location when I am in the area. I went in 10 minutes before closing and they packed my food within 2 minutes. I loved that they were very generous with the amount of food that was placed in my braised beef bowl. I highly recommend getting the lavender hibiscus lemonade with ice, I love their crushed ice.
