I have been to this place about 3 times now and I've waited to give this place a review since they were fairly new and did not want to be the bare of bad news. The first time we went in the food was good. Some a little cold but that could be because they have the sides sitting out. When we first arrived we weren't greeted when we walked in and the girl at the counter I asked her a question about the menu and the first time she either didn't hear me or ignored me and then when I asked again her response was oh the menu is up top just see what you want... Ummm ok. So after 10 min of trying to figure that out whether it's better to et a meal or just order stuff individually we finally ordered and got out food. The next time we went in the guys cooking you ask them something and they don't know what to say and refer you to the girl At the register. Ummm ok... And last time we arrived they messed up our order so many times it was crazy. They should have written "sh$$ show" on the ticket it was that ridiculous. So we ordered two different meals. The girl rang in the wrong meal. Then when it got to the table it was not what we ordered so then she took it back and we told her exactly what we ordered so then she comes back again to tell us ohh I charged you the wrong price so I need to charge you more. Ummm ok we'll it's your fault for ringing in the wrong thing so you have to run my card again for the extra dollar or two? Out focaccia bread came out cold and when it arrived she said she didn't have the flavor we wanted. Ok so now I'm stuck eating the one with olives now and I the olives because you couldn't check in the tiny restaurant and see that you are already out of what I paid for. Then by the time we finally got the correct order I had to ask one of the guys behind the counter to box up what we had because we didn even have enough time to eat it as I had to leave. So he brought it back to us all besides one box which was a salad. I got all the way home and my salad wasn't even with the rest of the food I was so pissed at the "sh$$ show" I made my bf go back and pick it up and I don't care how good there Mac and cheese is or the lemonades they have are. If an establishment can not take care of a disaster they caused and try to apologize and make it better instead of ignoring the obvious I just unfortunately will not return. I hope it's worth loosing a local customer over the two dollars you ha your server re ring up the card for and the unapologetic response I failed to receive from an owner or manager. Love the food here! The burgers tend to be slightly pink no matter how you order them, so if that bothers you, be aware. I had the Panang chicken curry with squash side last time-- delicious! Had lunch today at Bushfire Grill. The quality of the food was fantastic. I had the chicken with Perri Perri sauce, Greek salad, homemade foccia bread and home fries. I did not see the grilled vegetables at the time I ordered.. But they looked so great, that I would definitely go back and order again. Everything is organic and local when available. I don't know how they can produce such quality for fast food prices. I am looking forward to putting in an order for this weekend for guest who are coming for dinner. I am quite picky about the quality of food and I would never consider ordering food to take home to serve to guest. I am so sad to say this place has really taken a turn for the worse. It used to be my favorite place. The service was always slow but they were new and the food was delicious. Now, the service is often as cold as the food and the food is not as fresh as it once was. Maybe they are just trying to cut costs, but as a consumer it makes me no longer want to go back. We decided to try this restaurant based on the many positive reviews. We went for lunch. When we walked in, I was a bit confused where to place the order. I asked the girl behind the counter if we needed to sit or order from her. She instructed me to go to the register to order. Once at the register, we placed our order. My wife had a couple questions about the food. All the employees seemed a little rushed, as if they didn't have time to stop what they were doing and talk. They weren't rude by any measure, but certainly not friendly either. I had the braised ribs which were very good. they were served with rice and grilled vegetables. The vegetables were outstanding. The ribs were good, but a little bland for my taste. My wife had the chicken curry and she said it was good, but a little spicy (go figure). My grandson had the Caesar Chicken Sandwich, I tasted it and I think it was one of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever eaten. I will definitely go back for one of those. When we were ready to leave we asked the young hispanic gentleman for some to go boxes. He not only brought them out, he stood and talked to us for a bit. He was very friendly and the rest of the crew could learn a few things from this young man. He was wearing a black chef's top, but I think they all were. We ate here on a Friday at lunchtime. The place wasn't very busy but we arrived to a slew of dirty tables and not a single clean one. We waited 5 minutes for someone to clear a table for us and it never happened. My husband had to move dirty dishes out of the way so us and our 2 small kids could finally sit down. We waited entirely too long for our food, and the sweet potato fries we ordered never came. We got baked sweet potato and it took an extra 15 minutes longer than the rest of our food. My mother came here for takeout a couple days later and didn't get what she ordered. How do you mistake a greens salad for macaroni and cheese?? She was very upset and rightfully so. This place would normally get 5 stars from me as I've eaten here several times and its always been amazing. Today however, the beef brisket was overly salty and had a slight vomit flavor. I've ordered this before and it was delicious so something is obviously wrong with this batch. I called this to their attention and got the pulled pork to replace the salty vomit meat. After a 5 minute pow wow of 3 employees I was informed that an additional $1 would be charged to my card for the more expensive (and extremely delicious) pulled pork. I informed the employee who broke this news to me that this was not ok. How about just take care of the unsatisfied repeat customer and write off that $1. It's the principal here people. I thought this irritated me because I was hungry, but I'm stuffed now and still irritated. I may or may not be back. Ok maybe I will because damn that pulled pork was good. Location was in a decent area of Temecula. Upon arriving, we heard someone shout hello. It was in chaos really. We didn't know where to pick up or where to order. We stood around for almost 10 minutes and when I tapped one person on the arm, he gave us an annoyed and busy look. Service was bad and they need to designate someone or at least maybe two people to handle and direct the incoming customers. Chaos is the best way to describe the internal management of the operation. But - after finally talking with someone we waited and a very lovely young lady came and prepared our order. Very nice of her. The Food: Well, it was a Groupon for $10 for the $25 family meal and it was an ample amount of food. All freshly prepared and we had fries, salad, chicken, the mac and cheese and their bread. All were very good and I would say that it is tough to pay $25 for a chicken but with the Groupon, I think it's worth it. Fries were really good -- nice crisp outside and warm fluffy potato inside. Chicken - basic rotisserie chicken. No real strong flavor here but that may be what some people like. I think Ralphs or Albertsons has a nice roasted chicken as well but this is Free Range chicken so it's better quality. I had a friend who had a rotisserie and he made some really good chicken with his recipes. This won't beat a solid home made rotisserie recipe. Mac and Cheese was good - needed salt. Bread was good - can't complain. Salad was a salad but they give a lot of sauces so it was fun to try them out but they became a less than favorable novelty after a few dips. Our wives liked the peri peri sauce so that was a plus but I thought it to be a vinegar based cilantro like substance that was warm and the texture was a bit too watery. It's good for $10 but I do not see myself spending almost $30 for a whole chicken, two sides, and bread. Seating was limited and the prices are a bit too high for something that is just as good at the grocer if you get it hot. So - you get three stars overall. First time here and not impressed at all! Girl that took my order was nice, I asked her opinion and ended up getting the tri tip with fries and avocado bacon salad. The tri tip was cold who knows how long it had been sitting out! Tried the salad next there was seriously ONE piece of small avocado in my salad. I put my plate at the end of my table where it has been sitting for about 20 mins now where the tri tip only missing a small bite.. Not one person has come by to ask me about my experience since the food was dropped so I have not had to opportunity to tell anyone that my food was cold so here I am sitting after paying 15 dollars for lettuce and some fries! Came here again, after eating not having the best food experience.I thought I would give it another try after getting a nice message from the owner. I got the Tri Tip Sandwich with sweet potato fries. Total was $13 and not including a drink. The tri tip was over cooked, no pink in the middle and was way under seasoned. The fries tasted like they were blanched and not fried or even baked. The fell apart after a single dip, better to eat with a fork. I tried the trip tip because I come from the central coast where they mastered tri tip. I grew up eating this and cook it on a regular basis. Bushfire grill doesn't do it justice. Food always seems fresh and the staff are very friendly but for the money its way over priced for what you get. I used to go to Albertson in Santa Maria and get a better Tri Tip sandwich for $5 From my experience and my families experience the food is nothing to write home about. Friday evening after a long day at work we enjoyed another wonderful dining experience at Bushfire Grill! Had a delightful conversation with one of the owners about their concept. Fresh organic food the whole family can enjoy. This couldn't be more true! Everything is homemade right down to their special sauces. The husband ordered a combo plate of ribs and chicken with mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. Wonderful right down to the last bite. I ordered the Gaucho Steak sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. The sandwich was stacked with plenty slices of their delicious angus beef piled atop there homemade focaccia and drizzled with chimichurri sauce. The sandwich was packed with flavor and was so large I was able to enjoy the second half the next day for lunch. The sweet potato fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly, love them. Brushfire grille is a awesome place. I went here with a large group and everyone liked their meals. The salads are fresh and flavorful and sandwiches and full of flavor. I couldn't believe how much tri tip came on my sandwich and the bread they use is killer! The employees were very friendly and warm. Great environment/decor as well. My family and I got the family pack (Free Range Chicken and Ribs) and it was favorably delicious! The Mac and cheese was my favorite. But, while we got the ribs and sides, we didn't get the chicken as we were told it would be out in a minute so we ate the food that was already given out to us. One of the servers took away our number and we had told her for the second time that we still hadn't gotten our chicken. She said she would check on it, but it wasn't ready until around the time we were already finished (and relatively full) with our food. We had to ask them to bag it for us since we'd be taking it to go. Disappointed at the fact that our chicken wasn't given out to us in time for us to eat and we had to constantly ask for updates on our chicken. I have to say we are VERY disappointed in the way we were treated today by the manager. We normally love to eat here because we can get gluten free buns for my son that has allergies. We ordered online for pickup and drove 25 mins out of the way to pickup our order and they told us they were out of gluten free buns and they tried to call but our number was "disconnected". This was completely untrue and the manager continued to argue(and lie) saying she called, which she did not, as our number wasn't even in their call log on their phone. So I asked them to call it and of course it rang and was not disconnected. The manager continued to argue that it was disconnected earlier (not even sure how that is possible). We asked for any kind of discount, as we would have to purchase the buns now from the store, she refused and told us in so many words too bad and if we wanted to go somewhere else we could. This is completely ridiculous and an unprofessional way of handling it. All we wanted is some kind of compensation for the trouble and would have been happy with just about anything. We told her we were unhappy and would be leaving reviews online and on socal media about how it was handled and she said "go ahead". As a business owner myself this is not the kind of manager I would want dealing with customers in my restaurant. The worst part is, we asked her to call the owner and she said he did and that the owner had the same TOO BAD attitude about the situation. read more

Food was good. I asked for a medium well done patty, but it was more like a medium rare. The patty looked burned on the outside and under cooked on the inside. After seeing an article in the local paper and reading the reviews here, just had to get over to Bushfire Grill for lunch. Ordered the free range chicken breast sandwich and sweet potato fries. The sandwich was quite large on the focacacia bread with chicken, lettuce, basil pesto, red onions, avocado, and tomato. If you are not a big eater, there is enough to share. Also had the nice and crispy sweet potato fries. Both items were delicious. Prices very reasonable. Service was helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend it. read more
