    A very small, $15+ burrito.

Very overpriced. I just paid over $15 for a very skinny handheld burrito. Small portions, extremely overpriced. I'm still hungry. I could have went to somewhere and got better quality for less. Don't waste your money here.

Thai burritos we ordered them for work today and I got a vegetarian version which consisted of cheese, green Chile and potatoes! I would say the burrito #10 that I got was very delicious and careen Chile was on point and spicy just like any New Mexican likes it! The rest of my coworkers got meal burritos and all of them loved their options. Definitely a much better breakfast burrito option than regular fast food chains and from those around in this area. The service was great and speedy. The place seemed busy with hard workers that are attentive to customers orders and deliver high quality burritos. The place was welcoming and felt homey. So I went back and the posole with red chile is a must try! Very delicious!

I ordered the mini for almost $9 and holy moly guacamole! This was a disappointment. I've had their minis years before and never have they fit in the palm of my hand. Total rip off for $9. It was gone in 3 bites and still hungry. Wasn't the case before but geez, give me my $9 worth of burrito. I had a laugh showing the pictures to friends. I would not go back for their micro mini because that's what it is. Doesn't even make it to being a mini. I had to use a magnifying glass to find this "burrito". Could've played where's the burrito and never would have found it.

This place came highly recommended and the food didn't disappoint! We ordered take-out close to when they closed so they were out of some things but we got a tamale smothered with red chile w/garnish - this specifically was a 10/10 for me. Super authentic, full of flavor, not dry and I was relieved my initial order was out because this was really filling. We also ordered the Carne Adovada, Potatoes and Cheese and the Potatoes and Cheese, smothered red chile and garnish. All the food was extremely flavorful and delicious! Would recommend. The service was speedy!

I bought a burrito and a bowl of pozole. The burrito. It's like $12 for a tiny thing. Almost $7 for the tiniest bowl. I have ever seen Of pozole Way cheaper and better places in albuquerque, then this place

We enjoyed some delicious New Mexican food tonight thanks to the True ABQ promo. We've had their food at the State Fair before and always liked it, but we haven't eaten there in a while. I didn't want anything spicy so I ordered a burrito with chicken, lettuce, tomato, and sour cream. It was really good - juicy chicken and fresh, crisp veggies. You can add chile, salsa, or pico de gallo if you want to spice yours up. My husband had the Alinstante plate with carne adovada, a tamale, beans, and rice, smothered in green chile and topped with lettuce, tomato, and cheese. I managed to grab a couple of bites; the carne was flavorful with medium heat. The green chile was also flavorful but too hot for my preference. My husband loved it. I ordered mine to go and received great service from Tammi. I'd recommend Burritos Alinstante for tasty, reasonably priced food.

Note to self. When the viejita making your burritos says the green has a bite today.....IT WILL BURN YOUR MOUTH! But damn, this was an amazing burrito. Steak with carmelized onions, scrambled eggs, whole beans, cheese and some FIRE hot green chile! My son got taters instead of beans, so mine was obviously better! But man! This may mean the return of #burritopalooza! I have to admit that in a lifetime love affair with burritos, this one is in the top 5 ever!

We don't get to this part of town frequently so this was a great chance to try someplace new. The reviews gave me an idea of what to expect. But being here was better. We ordered a frito pie and #2 burrito with drinks. The frito pie came topped with ground beef, shredded cheese, onions, lettuce, tomatoes and red chile. The red chili was not overly spicy and added to the flavor. My burrito was STUFFED & delicious. I was amazed that the streak, green chile, tomato, onion & guacamole overflowing the flour tortilla was actually closed and rolled. The green chile didn't overwhelm the steak and added to the flavor. Everything else complimented the flavor. A great lunch!

So flavorful!! I don't have a picture of my burrito because it smelled so good that I instantly devoured it!! I was glad to see that they can accommodate vegan since you can build your own. I got mine with potatoes, refried beans, green chile, tomatoes and onions. It was delicious!! The green chile was definitely the highlight so tasty and the right amount of heat! The service was also great and the staff was super welcoming and friendly on this early Monday morning. I would definitely recommend!

Chicharonnes are good, but 16 bucks for a little burrito is way to much. Too expensive!!

$8 for Breakfast Tacos... should be plural. But I only received one taco with a Taco Bell hard shell. Hard pass.

Very easy to find located in a small part of the neighborhood we parked on a side street and walked in. We were greeted right away and told to take a table. When we receive the menu, it had no prices on it, and although the menu is somewhat limited, the variety was a good sampling there is something for everyone. I ordered the QuesoBirria tacos and my eating companion, had a cheeseburger and fries. They delivered a basket of fried potatoes slices that were a little slice of heaven before our meal. The restaurant was busy. Every table was full, and people kept streaming into the restaurant to pick up to go orders. A food arrived shortly after we ordered it. The cheeseburger was handmade served with fresh cut onions and tomatoes on a potato type bun with loads of fries the tacos were over the top! They brought out two types of salsa, freshly made a red sauce and a green sauce. My favorite was the green sauce. It was a little bit spicier than the red. The flavor was next level. I took two of these to go home because they were so large. You could definitely share this with someone. I did read all the plaques on the wall in the restaurant. The chef has won awards and lots of newspaper articles were posted about this location. I highly recommend would certainly visit again and by the amount of people that were streaming in most seemed to be regulars I guarantee this place is going to be around for a long time so happy that we visited this spot. It's a pleasure writing a review, especially since the staff were hard-working and we are very attentive.

Directly across the street from University of New Mexico's main entrance, this place is packed when school is in session. This place is huge, but not at first glance. Walk into the retro-looking, Western themed dining room, and you'll see a huge menu board above the order counter. There is are several freestyle soda machines in the middle of the room. There are little digital screens in the corner where you watch for your order number and a counter in the corner where you go pick up your food. It's not until you go into the next room that you discover there is another "next room," and then another. There is a lot of art on the walls, including several John Wayne pictures. The girl at the counter who took our order was an absolute ray of sunshine--so friendly and sweet. We ordered the green chili cheeseburger with onion rings and the daily special which is the "green pile-up" (beans, hash browns, scrambled egg, and green chili beef). The good came our talented quickly, and was quite yummy. Frontier is an Albuquerque classic. If it old? Yes, but it has a huge faithful following, not including the things of UNM students that pack this giant diner during the school year. It may not be a "must try" for some, but if you want Albuquerque nostalgia, this is your place. Btw--it's pretty darn cheap,!

My parents lived in ABQ for years and always thought that the atmosphere was great, but the food was so-so. However, on this instance, we all thought the food was quite good. Flavorful carne adovada, although it was a bit tough. Red chile sauce was spicy but had great flavor. The green chile sauce was hot and tasty. Posole was also good. The gold margaritas were also good - to anyone complaining about the price - at $14.50, the price is very fair considering the cost of ingredients. If you want a cheap junk margarita that is more sugar than anything else, go somewhere else! Our gripe... The place is huge and has an abundance of great places to seat guests. We had a pretty large group - 7 people celebrating a family reunion of sorts. However, they sat us right next to the bussing station that had noisy carts, dishwashers, and other distractions. It was so loud, it was hard to hear the person across the table. There were at least 10 other tables that they could have seated us at! It seems to me that this area should be used only when the restaurant is completely full. This seems to be a poor management decision rather than the fault of the servers or hosts.
