Went to Burnett's with a couple of friends last night. It is your typical bar scene, with some outside seating. Their wings are absolutely amazing and delicious. We also got their baby clams, which was also great. The food definitely receives five stars. Their service was a bit slow, i think there were only two people both bartending and serving in the whole place. Also, i would not recommend getting a drink here unless it was beer. I asked if the bartender had ginger beer for a moscow mule and she said she did. My moscow mule tasted like club soda with vodka! The first time I went the wings were good, the second time I went the wings were trash and the owner actually gave them to me. The customer service is bad. And the wings I had were dry To the point you can't bite through them. If you're in Renton , just make the extra 10-20 drive to Seattle or somewhere for some better food! These place gets 4 stars from me for just the chicken wings. Holey crap they were great!! We got a couple of different flavors and loved them both. The service was good and attentive and the drinks were strong. There is only one pool table and it's a lot smaller in the inside then it seemed from the outside. They turned the music up pretty loud around like 8 which made conversation a little tough. I would suggest this place for a guys night for wings and sports but not the greatest date spot. Visit once so you can see for yourself if it's worth coming back. Their chicken is good but not exceptional. Service was a big let down. The Asian wings came with sautéed onions which requires a fork to eat with. We had to ask for one and waitress never came back. Went to Burnetts on a lowly Tuesday evening hopinh to grab some deliciousness. As I approached I saw that the exterior was unimpressive which usually means excellent vittles so I got excited. When I went in the place was empty except fo one customer and the bartender. Not waivered I approached the bar for a beer and a menu. You'd have thought I was trying to rob the joint, the bartender appeared very dicombobulated and umpersonable. Her confused and angst almost made me head for the door. But I stayed the course and attempted to order...I say attempt because what I wanted to order the (Vietnamese Sandwich ) they were unabe to prepare because their cook was not in. If I could give this place zero stars I would... This lady is a terrible and rude.. she should be shut down because she doesn't know how to treat customers who spend money in her establishment. I asked for the 6 piece wings, the one that comes with rice.. That dish comes with rice and salad. But did she bring the salad no she didn't just rice. (There is no item on the menu that just comes with rice). So I politely told her that she didn't give us salads and she started arguing with me saying I didn't ask for salad. I just said rice.. I asked her what's the price for just rice because I don't see it on the menu she said it was the same price. So why wouldn't she bring the salad. The wings come with rice and salad. She said you need to ask for the combo. But no where on the menu does it say chicken wing combo. I've been here several times and every single time the service bad. It's even worst when her daughter is working there. The food is good but the bad service shines more so I will never give this dumb business owner another dollar and you shouldn't either.. read more

We went to Burnett's, a couple of weeks ago, to meet up with a group of our friends. One of them had said we would get to watch a WNBA playoff game there, and that the staff said we could turn the volume up for this game. So, off we went.... for dinner and to watch the game. It was a decent sized place, and we put a few tables together, with the bar to our backs, to watch the game on the wall mounted tv. That was great. And, the bar wasn't packed. The service on the other hand was extremely slow. One of our friends ordered something and got it 45 minutes later. It was an APPETIZER! I ordered a soda, and instead of the lady coming back to tell me that they didn't have any more 7-Up on tap to get me one, she told my wife, who was sitting at the other end of the table. I NEVER received a drink. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT and a HUGE NO-NO. I had to go to the bar, 20 minutes after everyone else got their drinks, to beg for a glass of ice water. Our food was served, and I was pleased with what I ordered. I did have to ask, each and every time, for a water refill. Like I said... the service wasn't good. A total let down. But, I was happy that I had a decent meal, I was with good friends, and that we were all watching the best sport ever..... WOMEN'S professional basketball. Toward the end, other patrons came in, and I was really upset, because the staff allowed them to BLAST the jukebox music, and we couldn't hear our game, at all. Burnetts is an awesome gem located in downtown. After my first time here I was hooked. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the food is actually really delicious and their prices are very good. So far my favorites are the thai chicken wings, garlic fries and the claims. If you happen to be in the area definitely give this place a try, you won't regret it! read more

I have eaten there before and their wings are very good, but when I tried to visit them this Saturday the door was locked. I checked to see their hours were 4pm - 2am and it was 4:05pm. I waited a bit and finally left. I was disappointed, because I waited to eat just for them to open, but they never did. I was going to try and visit them today and thought I would call before I wasted my time again. No one answered and I have seen both that they are closed on Sundays and that they are open 4pm - 12am. If their hours are wrong, then they should update them to reflect the new hours. read more

Awesome tasting wings!!! Cajun style is my favorite. The ranch and rice go exceptionally well with these wings! Don't mind driving from federal way to Renton just for some tasty wings! I don't drink. Nor do I go to bars just to hit on people (some people do that), but the first time I went here was a really good experience (because of the food). My friends took me here for the first time for my 22nd birthday last year. There's limited seating inside because everyone seems to go there at one time and the place is really small, but the inside is alright. I don't have anything against drinking but I just don't like being around drunk people and there were a lot of them when we were there. We sat down on a table and the waitress noticed us after about 10mins of sitting. I will give this place 3 stars but because of the bar food we ordered, it earned another star! I remember us getting the chicken wings and something else I can't remember because the chicken wings was good enough! Probably one, if not, the best chicken wings I've had from a small business. But anywho, my friend bought me a drink but he ended up drinking the whole thing because I don't drink. Haha. Regardless, it was a good first experience. I always find myself here in downtown Renton solely for this place. Seriously best wings in town!! There must be something in the breading or the combination with the sautéed onions and jalapeños but the wings are so flavorful and have the BEST crisp to it. And prices are great for the size of the wings! My boyfriend always gets garlic & pepper w/ a little bit of spice and I always get fish sauce (not on the menu) spicy or not spicy depending on my mood. They also have a large variety of beer and liquor! All in all, this place is perfect for an after work brew and some great tasting wings. Also, the ladies who work here are super cool! read more

Whatever service they had at one point is almost non existent now. I ordered just a 6 piece wing and I thought I ordered the meal with rice and salad. I asked the owner if I could get rice and a salad and I would be more than happy to pay the difference. She said no and gave me such an attitude. They pre-make the rice and salad is not hard to make at all. I would of gladly give them more money. They would make so much more money if there was someone coming out asking if i need another beer. I usually only get 1 because the food can take A VERY LONG TIME and the line is always super long. I know these wings are good but I am not sure if I will be dining there anymore. Tables are always sticky and gross because the wait staff barley comes by enough to get the dirty dishes and beer cans off the table.
