It turns out they were upset because target closed their DEI department. Inside was a clean bright store, I only went to food, alcohol and pet supplies, but everything was well laid out in orderly. There were hardly any other customers, so it was really easy to check out the old-fashioned way with the cashier instead of self Service. A lot of the food items in there limited but broad grocery section. We're a little higher end, and cost a little more, but overall a very pleasant shopping experience.

There is a nicer selection of merchandise including designer clothes that the other stores don't have. Yes - it can be a bit messy, but there are a lot of people in there messing with the items. If I have a choice - I'll pick this TJ Maxx over others. I almost always find something I can use or wear.

The location was simple to get in and out of, with plenty of parking available, which made things stress-free right from the start. Inside, the store was well organized, making it easy to find everything we needed without wandering around too much. We were able to grab all our items quickly and efficiently with no issues at all. Customer service was smooth and uneventful (in a good way) everything just flowed. Checkout was just as seamless. The lines weren't long, and we didn't have to wait much at all, so we were in and out pretty quickly. This was a quick, hassle-free shopping experience, exactly what you want when you're on the go.

We pressed the help button and waited there for 10 minutes - no one came. I figured I would just return them to another store later. There were a few items we needed to return, so we went to the customer service desk. We waited in line for nearly 40 minutes - with one person working the service desk. Finally made it up and it only took about 5 minutes since they were online returns and they just had to scan the barcodes and take the items. We shopped the grocery section of the store - it was not very well stocked. Most of the items we wanted were not available. Not a bad thing though, we didn't spend as much as we normally would. We made it up to the checkout and went to a cashier - that was a huge mistake (I should have done self checkout). The lady that checked us out should not be a cashier. She double scanned almost everything and we had to tell to her void the double scanned items. She threw glass jars into empty bags - and heavy items on top of eggs and bread - luckily nothing broke or got smooshed too bad. Of course, I missed one of the double scanned items - so, back to customer service I had to go for a refund... UGH! Don't make the same mistake as me -- stay away from this store!

After a few minutes of looking around, Cassie walked up with a style of shirt she had personally purchased from there and recommended it to me. It was the perfect size and fit! Thank you to Cassie for making me feel better about myself, and for being energetic enough at 9 at night to talk to customers. I did the self-checkout option--a huge help--and a woman named Dorothy was walking around. Nicholas saved me because it was after 9pm, mall was closed (for the most part), and the carjack was unstable and my car could've fallen down on top of the jack if it wasn't for his fast reaction in placing the lugs back on and lower the jack in time (uneven surface caused the instability of the jack). He asked me to move the car a bit farther on a flat, well-lit space and replaced the tire with the spare tire. Thank you for being such a great person who stepped in to help in a dire situation.

Each time we're in the store, the staff behaves as if we're being watched closely--asking if we want items held at the counter or having an employee follow us under the pretense of folding shirts while we browse. I've spent over $100 here so far and don't appreciate being treated with suspicion. Having worked in retail myself, I'm familiar with the signs of someone being monitored because they're assumed to be stealing, and that's how it feels every time I shop here. I really like the shop's selection--especially the Jellycats--but there are other local stores that carry similar products. I'm willing to give the shop one more chance, but if I experience this same treatment again, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
