I love Burlington for all the funky things I can find for a great price. My favorite item to look for are off-beat t-shirts and this visit did not disappoint. We try to visit as many different Burlington stores as possible and this was our first time to this store. We found it clean with clear isles, which made pushing my mom in her chair a lot easier. The stock was loaded with goodies for men, women, children, home-goods and one of my favorites...perfume! I bought 4 fun t-shirts, mom got a few things for her great-grandbaby and the house. There was a long checkout line but it moved swiftly. Our cashier was very kind and professional. There is plenty of parking and lots of nearby stores to consider as well. The shopping center is a bit run down but it still delivers. We will be back. read more

This is by far THEE most trifling Burlington in the country. Shopping carts with missing wheels, parking lot littered with trash, store a complete disaster. After rifling through the piles and piles of unorganized merchandise the checkout area looks like all items are free day. Corporate please review this store, it's despicable! read more

This place was dirty and seemed picked over. There were tons of damaged home decor pieces, broken makeup, stained clothing with busted zippers, shoes that looked worn... I haven't even seen a thrift store look this bad. It was kinda sad because it seemed like they had a good selection of items but every time I would pick something up I would put it right back down because it was damaged in some way. I don't imagine I'll be back anytime soon... I never look forward to bargaining or asking the manager for a discount because of the poor quality of something I'm semi interested in. read more

I am so about getting the best deal. And while you will find a deal in Burlington Coat Factory, find is the operative word. This store is huge and sometimes I get tired just upon entrance. While a huge selection is great, a mega selection is all together different. Unfortunately the employees can't keep it immaculate all the time but when it is organized the shopping is decent. I like the round- about racks because they usually have signs indicating what brands are on them. The best department in this store hands down is the household goods department. The glass wear is phenomenal! Other than that the aisles are narrow and it just takes way too long to look around here. read more

Every time I think something like "oh I know where I can grab a pair of gloves" and try the place again, I regret it. I swear, it couldn't be any more disorganized and messy if there were goats and chickens grazing in the isles. Boxes of merchandise are just tossed on the floor in the general area the stuff belongs in. Little girls' panties might be found on the same rack as mens leather jackets. Even if you do manage to find something you like, good luck finding your size. I've been in other Burlington Coat Factories and sure, the place can be a bit jumbled and crazy, especially around christmas time, but this one is bad year-round. The bargains at this place are actually few and far in between. It has the aura of a discount department store, but it isn't cheap. read more

You always can find a good deal at Burlington's. I like to shop here for clothes and coats. I'm on a budget, so I can't see myself spending loads of money for just for a pair of jeans or a shirt when I can get several for the same price. They also have accessories, shoes household items and baby stuff. Pretty much they have something for everyone here. However, I wish it was a bit organized, but you know with stores like that the customers like the throw stuff everywhere and the employees are usually understaffed to be on it all the time. Also they need to do something about the dressing rooms. I went to try on a pair of pants and there were stick pins all over the floor and the the latch on the door was broken. I took a gamble and bought the pants anyway. Luckily for me, they fit. But yea, the management needs to get on that read more

Apparently a hidden secret many people in Detroit don't know much about, but I will for sure be in Burlington Coat Factory this fall grabbing a few outer wear garments. I also frequent the one on Telegraph Rd, and I believe there are a couple more across town. Not only do they have "coats" here, but they also have clothing for men and women at affordable prices (name brands included), as well as jewelry, books and other gadgets. This place was CRAZY the last time. I went there to do a return on a $13 hat. It took about 45 mins when there were only like 3 people infront of me. They're were also so many people in the store that day, i dont know what was going on, you would have thought the world was ending or something. Anyways, I dont care for the selection here its usually not my style, but every so often I can find something super marked down, and its just my size and sitting there waiting for me. I went looking for hats, and the hats were crazy everywhere, I didnt see anything I liked, so after I did my return I left. The Burlington on Dequindre was a little less messy and had a bin full of underwear for $1 each, just as if you were at the dollar store, and $2 undershirts! Today's struggle was so real. I walked in looking for a coat for my step-son and walked frustrated because things were in such disarray. It's been years since I'd been in this store and that's it. I won't go back. Maybe another franchise in another city. But not this one ever again! read more

I was in the store last night and I must say a VERY noticeable difference from past times I have visted this location. Now it may be attributable to the fact that they were closing in an an hour and a half but the store was clean there were not clothes all over the floor and the jewelry, wallets, makeup, socks and purse sections were all tidy and neatly displayed. The coats, shoes and a few of the clothes racks were a bit out of order but nothing too outrageous as there were still shoppers in the store... all and all I was surprisingly impressed. Possibly a change in management or at least management style!!! Again it could have been because it was right before closing but what generated the change I am happy about it. Best change I notnoticed was there was staff on the floor and they were working; not just standing around talking!!! GREAT JOB cleaning up your store and the image of your store. read more

As stated in the comments above, it is quite disorganized, however, ANYTHING beats the one on Ford Rd. in Dearborn. That one needs to be shut down...it's HORRIBLE! I use to find butt-loads of clothes at Burlington that I really like. Over the past year however, it seems that the styles have changed and become more ummmm...ugly. Nonetheless, every blue moon I do find something. The dressing rooms are totally ridiculous. They need to hire more ppl to get and keep this place organized. On the upside, I've noticed that there are quite a few items at Burlington that I've seen at Carson's (formerly known as 'Parisians'). The prices at Carson's are TWICE as high for the same garments! Prices are pretty good at Burlington. I definitely have to give them that. BTW, I'm guessing that they really aren't very interested in Customer Reviews as they've not responded to any of the comments. Not good. Ppl want to know that you care and are interested in satisfying them as customers when they're spending their money with you. read more
