HELPFUL STAFF This is the first Marshalls that i've been to and i will be going back a few more times. This is very organized and easy to find things, not to mention all of the cute last minute house items that i found. I really don't like searching for things but this Marshalls made it so easy for me to navigate all of the house goods.

This chain department store, which is part of the TJMaxx family of stores, offers nice discounts on major brand name items. This store has a heavy emphasis on Women's wear but also has baby wear, girls wear, mens wear, shoes, limited kitchen merchandise, some luggage, some Pet merchandise and some limited home decor/furniture. If you're looking for some new clothes in particular from the well known brand names/fashions than you definitely should check out this store especially if you are a value conscious shopper. The other non clothing merchandize seem to offer good deals as well but with much less selection to choose from and will be kind of more hit and miss than the clothing. Overall four stars based on quality and value of the merchandise.

I love shopping at Marshall's. I do wish they had one closer to Grand Blanc. They always have a great selection of shoes and clothes.

Holy cow. Slow as molasses. One of the cashiers spent 5 minutes arguing with a manager on the phone about how busy the line was.

The location was simple to get in and out of, with plenty of parking available, which made things stress-free right from the start. Inside, the store was well organized, making it easy to find everything we needed without wandering around too much. We were able to grab all our items quickly and efficiently with no issues at all. Customer service was smooth and uneventful (in a good way) everything just flowed. Checkout was just as seamless. The lines weren't long, and we didn't have to wait much at all, so we were in and out pretty quickly. This was a quick, hassle-free shopping experience, exactly what you want when you're on the go.

Training and communication were inconsistent from the very beginning. On my first night, I was trained by an employee who was terminated by my second night. As a new hire, I assumed the way I was trained was correct, especially since no member of leadership ever corrected my work or provided feedback afterward. I worked overnight stocking and continued doing the job the way I was trained for nearly three months. During that time, I was never written up, never tardy, and never received any form of disciplinary action or coaching. No manager ever pulled me aside to discuss expectations or performance concerns. The overnight work environment itself also lacked professionalism. Some employees who remained employed regularly displayed behavior that was immature and unprofessional, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable at times and reflected a lack of accountability from leadership. Almost three months in, I started hearing rumors from coworkers that the overnight manager, Calvin, was not satisfied with my performance. Because I knew him outside of work, I chose to speak with him directly and asked how I was doing. He told me I was doing fine and had nothing to worry about. Based on that conversation, I trusted his word and decided not to go to the People's Office (HR), even though I had considered it due to the mixed messages. A day or two later, shortly after midnight, I received a text message from Calvin stating that I was being let go and that it "wasn't personal, just business." This was surprising and discouraging, especially after being told directly that my performance was fine. Being terminated via text message, without prior warning, documentation, or an opportunity to improve, felt unprofessional. With better leadership, this situation could have been avoided. Clear expectations, proper training, honest feedback, and a performance improvement plan would have helped set employees up for success. Unfortunately, the overnight shift lacked structure, transparency, and strong leadership, which made this a negative experience overall.

First of all when you walk in, there is no one working. I can totally understand why now. When you walk in, no one will greet you or ask what they can help because they are too busy chatting with each other. After some struggles, I purchased a foundation that was not the one I wanted originally and the sales told me that I can return it if the color was not matched in 30 days which was clearly stated on my receipt Then, I decided to not want that foundation because of the color mismatch and I had an allergic reaction from the color match in store I sent it in the mail to that store and I waited for 2 weeks for their reponse. They basically ignored me until I call them 2 weeks later to ask about my status of the return. All I got after that was "honey it takes at least a month." so I waited. The next day they called me back and accused me of using a lot of the foundation and how they could not return an used item when I didn't even open it. She said they had a way to check it but the foundation bottle is colored, not transparent. I tried to explain to her about how I didn't want this to begin with and she pressured me to buy it and I had a serious allergic reaction from it. She basically said there was nothing I could do and we couldn't return. I said can I talk to your manager and she said yes she will call me back the next day. Not only they didn't call me back, but they just automatically shipped me back the defect foundation and called it a day I will say I am very disappointed about this kind of inconsiderate customer service from a well-known high ended department store. Please save your piece of mind, DO NOT EVER GO THERE!

The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and willing to go above and beyond. I typically work with two regular sales associates, depending on who is available when I come in, and both consistently provide outstanding service. They truly take the time to help you decide what works best, whether it's comparing sizes or selecting the right style. Whatever you need, they will go out of their way to find it. During the holidays, they also offer beautiful gift wrapping upon request, which is such a thoughtful touch. I highly recommend Saks Fifth Avenue. No matter who assists you, you can count on professional, attentive service. I also love the wide range of brands they carry, which makes it easy to find something suitable for any budget or style preference. A consistently excellent shopping experience!

Men & women shoes are a complete unorganized mess, lots of mismatched boxes and shoes, from this…read moreyear alone on 3 separate occasions I've had 45s in a 46 box shipped to me, a 37 with a 39 tag on it & my favorite a 39 mismatched with a 41 and a 41 box.......every single time I missed out on a pair of shoes bc they couldn't locate the correct ones I thought I paid for, sales associates are defiantly the ones to blame. Not 5 bc I felt like I had to beg, sad. Defiantly train better in organizing; wouldn't even want to imagine what inventory day looks like in this place.
