My daughter is getting married in 3 weeks and I needed a dress!! I had previously purchased one elsewhere but they messed up the alterations and I was desperate. I have been buying my gowns from Zain since it opened in West Bloomfield. I read these negative posts and can't help but wonder where these people are coming up with this crap about bad customer service, or if you're not "chaldean" they don't help you.. That's RIDICULOUS! AND a bit racist. I remember the first day I walked in there, I was in yoga pants and a t-shirt, no "diamonds", not Arabic. Obviously the first thing I noticed was the gowns were different than any other boutique! I was greeted and the customer service was above and beyond my expectations. I don't believe the comments about the customer service being bad or the staff not wanting to help people. That doesn't make sense! It was because of the customer service and the best gowns in the state that I don't and won't go anywhere else.... Hands down Zain and staff go above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy. I was very excited excited a month ago I had an appointment for this store I waited he told me he was getting a shipment in on the 19th I seen but six dresses nothing in my size tried on nothing and I said what happen with the selection you wasted a month of my time to find a dress for my daughter's wedding and he said you were lucky here once what made you think with your figure you were gonna be lucky again... you son of a bitch. Customer service classes should be given to these woman working here. Just because we're not Arab speaking doesn't mean we don't spend the same money. We're Albanian and happy to spend prob more then the normal client without asking for it for free. No one should treat anyone like their nothing and laugh Bc they assume we can't afford it. One of the girls laughed in our faces and told us we need to make an appt to see the dresses in the back. The father fit us in Bc I made a comment " guess they turn away money " and still felt like we're not worthy to shop there. I went to " their back room " and took a picture so my sisters husband can see if he's wanting to spend the $$$$ on it and one girl gave me the rudest comment and started arguing with me . I told her this is my first time here and she still kept talking back. I told her she needs to watch how she talks to me And tried proving to us that we r wrong. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I MET TRASHY GIRLS !!!!! NEVER WOULD I TALK TO MY CLIENTS THAT WAY BC THEIR THE REASON YOU KEEP YOUR BUSINESS WORKING. If you aren't Arabic, don't bother going to this store. Big disappointment. My Chaldean friend recommended this store for a formal gown for my engagement party. They do have nice dresses but they basically refused to help me. They told me they don't order dresses and have no back stock, so unless you're a size 8 you are out of luck. I don't understand that kind of customer service but I am happy to spend my money elsewhere. read more

experience just now. In all my travels from Italy, Greece to Spain, I have never been treated so lower class and horrible because of the way I look. I went into Zain boutique in Troy and for those of you who know me know I do not dress up while at home. On a whim I decided to go into the boutique because I heard it was new and had classy dresses. I use the word classy very loosely when it comes to the management there. The owner refused to help me because I did not look rich and when I called him and said that was wrong his reply was he does not need my business anyway!!!! For all my friends that may one day decide to go there make sure you are dressed to the nines with name brands and diamonds or when you go there you will not get help. I went to Zain with my mom & friend. We were all looking for a dress. My mom & I normally have a dress custom made but decided to visit Zain since we heard they carry one of a kind dresses. The owner wasn't pleasant from the minute we walked in. We went thru all the dresses in the front room & didn't like anything. I told her numerous times that I was told she has dresses in the back & she ignored me. She just stood in the front with her hands crossed & a frown on her face. My friend saw a dress hanging in the dressing room & wanted to try it on. The owner asked her if she knew how much that dress was & then told her the price. My friend answered her with I never told you I have a budget. We were so confused with the unfriendliness of the owner & poor customer service but realized she was judging us. Neither of us were dressed up & didn't have diamonds on. So since we weren't decked out & wore bling, she decided from the minute she saw us that she wasn't going to service us & didn't want us in her store. What she didn't realize it was her loss. Worst customer service ever. You may want to call & ask what the dress code is before walking in the store. read more
