This place is very clean and well organized. I mostly get pet supplies here but also buy some food. They seem to carry kind of boutique items like farro and black rice. Things that Kroger usually doesn't carry. I love their deals, getting Target cards etc. And they have really good prices on pet items. I love Target came here to get a few items at this particular location. You find a nice amount of selection could be better. The target on middle belt has a fantastic selection. I also recommend getting the membership for 10.99 a month for free delivery to your home. The staff is helpful , lines can be a little long at self checkout but all in all good experience. I am a frequent shopper at this location and visit almost every weekend. Even when I don't necessarily need anything, I enjoy stopping in to browse. However, over the last few months, I've overheard several shoppers discussing the aggressive behavior of the security guard on duty -- and I've now witnessed it myself. I've seen him stare customers up and down as if they're doing something wrong, and I've watched him follow people around the store. Today, I saw him approach a teenage couple in the makeup aisle and say, "You two are in here a lot." When they agreed, he continued, "I feel like I see you in here almost every day, but I never see you buy anything. Why is that?" The teens calmly explained that while they have bought items before, they don't purchase something every visit. I understand that security staff have a job to do, but at this point his behavior comes across as harassment, especially toward teenagers. This creates an uncomfortable and unwelcoming shopping environment. read more

Stopped in the other day because me and my aunt were in the area and both had to go to the bathroom right. I said let go to Target and shop around. I told her at least we know the bathrooms will be clean at TARGET! Walked in and there was some electrical mechanism on the floor I had to walk around just to get to a stall. Luckily I wasn't in a wheel chair. Looked in the first stall and the toilet looked like it should have an out of order sign on it, and another electrical mechanism in front of the toilet. Handicapped stall it is, right? Walked in and the toilet bowl was stained brown and once I activated the self flush function, poop water filled the bowl! I really had to go so I made it flush again and it was a little better. Stood up and my waste went down, but poop water came back and filled the bowl again! Whatever didn't complain to anyone because they uh didn't look like they'd take me serious anyways. Waited for my aunt to come out and she looked at me and said "We should have just found a porta potty!" Looked around the store and I think one out of 5 employees I said hello to actually replied hi back. Waited for my aunt when I was done by the registers. While I was standing there people with items in their cart looked around and nobody at all was at the registers. I said I think it's only self check out by the looks of it. They shook their heads and left the store. Finally my aunt was done and I told her the same thing. Out of nowhere some dude stopped dancing around and said I can help you at register 3. Started asking my aunt all sorts of questions and she's a 68 year old woman and sounded like he was trying to get her to sign up for things she's not interested in. I can really see why nobody takes their carts back or to the corral here because why show respect to someplace that there's no respect returned? read more

I love shopping at Target! Lately I have been stopping in the Target at 16 Dequindre, I'm going to go the extra mile and shop somewhere else. This Target is the worse, employees at so rude. Especially at the self scan which is all that is open. The shelves are bare and the store is dirty. I am done shopping here, hall and schoehner has a good store. I recommend that store. This is the target I go to with my mother. It's between our cities. I could spend some time here and always find something I want here. They even have a decent amount of basic grocery items here too. They offer up a lot of decent decorative items for the holidays. We bought my mother some wreaths for the holidays here recently. read more

I love target! The store is very clean and organized. I like the small clearance section that sits right in front of the entrance when you walk in. Love that Target has up their game on makeup by adding name brands to their shelves, such as Anastasia Beverly Hill, Sunday Riley, Too Faced, MAC, Urban Decay, Shiseido, Clinique and a few more others. Now I don't have to travel to Ulta or Sephora when I can stop at Target. I also love stopping at Starbucks before I start my shopping. Surrounding stores is Burlington, nonstop allegiance (entertainment center), Chase Bank and some other stores nearby. read more

This has always been my go-to Target. They've had their ups, and they've had their downs. No one is perfect. But you know what is amazing? How well the staff at this location has been handling all of this COVID-19 craziness. Masks? Yes. Gloves? Totally? Respecting my space while helping me find things I need or checking stock? Definitely. Every member of the staff I've interacted with has been friendly, upbeat, and an absolute joy! They're doing a great job protecting customers by monitoring lines, encouraging social distancing, and offering plenty of masks and sanitizing options. And as someone who also works in a customer service position, I appreciate how much they're doing to protect their front-facing staff, especially the cashiers. read more

Wanted to share my experience with Mean 'Ole Sarah and Super Hero Brenda. I always come to this store for drive-up, which I started using last year while pregnant. I had my newborn in late January 2020 before COVID-19 and have continued to use drive up to protect our health and safety. I've ALWAYS had a pleasant experience with all Target drive up services. Now that I'm thinking about it, I wouldn't recommend the Southfield Target unless you like to get tortured by evil clowns . Well...Anyway......the Warren Target has been great, that is, until May 30th. I picked up two orders. The first order was perfect. However, the second order was missing several items (this excludes the items that were canceled or shipped). Due to no-contact, the orders were brought to the car already marked "picked up" by the associate so customers no longer have to sign the screen with our finger. I informed the associated, who stated he would go look for the missing items (this happened before and the items were found near the customer service desk in the pick up area). However, Mean 'Ole Sarah came out, telling me it was nothing they could do about the missing items and I had to wait until the next day to request a refund. Well, meanie, contractually you're not supposed to acknowledge I received goods I paid for via credit card if I didn't actually receive them. Not only did she give me the "oh well" speech, she also told me they weren't going to look for my missing items (or replace them from the shelves). She told me I could leave WITHOUT ALL THE ITEMS I PAID FOR, then call the next day and tell some random customer service personnel at Target that items are missing and they're just going to believe me.... . So I asked for her to at least document/write on paper that she stated I could get a refund the "next day".... yeap you read that right- not the day I was actually there but a different day. I'm still shocked by it too. If Target is going to break their contract to provide goods for tender rendered, they should at least be willing to put in writing their willingness to correct their error. But oh no, mean ole' Sarah thought of multiple reasons to avoid doing that. In comes to my rescue Ms. B (I think her name was Brenda). Well, she was a Target store superhero ‍. She told me she overheard the conversation while bringing out another drive up order and said she would help me. Not only did she go out of her way to go find the missing items, but when she couldn't find all the items on the shelf, she found reasonable substitutes!!!! . She totally deserves an award for SuperStar Essential worker of the Year (and to be placed in at least one commercial too). But not mean ole Sarah. I have a friend named Sarah that even looks like this bully, but hair is more of a deep red (and she's taller - like more runway modelish; she's cooler too). She told me the Target mean ole Sarah is cancelled from the Sarah society and that meanie is a disgrace to the Sarah name!!!! Her words, not mine. read more

This Target is DOPE. I rarely spend time on this side of town but I was in Ferndale last week and needed a few things so I decided to swing by the nearest Target which took me to Warren. I was REALLY impressed. First off, they have a great stock. More stuff than most of the Targets I frequent. It's newer so it makes sense that they would carry more, of course, but I was still pleasantly surprised. The grocery section in particular was pretty sweet. They even had a bit of a produce section! The store is also clean and I like the organization of it. Also the new shopping carts are VERY fancy and move soooo smoothly. It's kind of a silly thing to comment on but crappy carts are a huge pet peeve of mine so I was in smooth rollin' heaven! The staff here is also really nice. I was asked multiple times if I needed any assistance and the gal who checked me out was awesome, especially since I had A LOT of crap that needed to be sorted into different piles since not everything went to the same place. She was a gem. This location is pretty far from my house but I'm seriously considering stopping there every so often when I'm in the area just to see if they have anything my stores don't have! read more

Have pity upon your Canadian neighbours deprived of the big red bullseye. Life without stylish dishes and inexpensive housewares in bold, trendy colours, and fashion designer collaborations is dim indeed. The siren song of Up and Up products and pretty products at reasonable prices is strong. Unlike Wal-mart, the stores feel cleaner, the merchandise of a higher quality, and the scarlet pimpernels prancing through their Target paradise cheerier. When I lived in Vancouver, we made monthly pilgrimages across the border to the second nearest Target, knowing the first would be too picked over by our fellow shoppers on an exodus from the Expensive Land. What joy that Target is slated to enter Canada in 2013-2014. Ferndale to Warren isn't quite as far a pilgrimage as Seattle. I pop into this store while on the East Side, primarily because the new digs still shine with that waxy glory and parking is spacious. I really wish this store got the SuperCenter treatment with a full grocery department, but Detroit metro as a whole lacks this awesome addition unless I've somehow missed it. If you've seen one SE Michigan Target, you've NOT seen them all. Quality varies substantially across the board and, so far, Warren ranks towards the top of the spectrum. In part this is due to the newness of the store, which translates into bright aisles and polished fixtures. The building itself doesn't smell of vague, stale unpleasantness as Northland. Employee service is good though finding one of the Red Shirts can still be a challenge. I have good experiences dealing with clothing, shoes, and cosmetics/personal care items. Sale items are actually present on the shelves most of the time! Women's clothing in sizes other than XXL and XS are usually present, though sale time always sees S to L, especially coveted M, flying out the door. Even high trafficked areas lack the usual disorderly mess of misplaced accessories, and hats hanging on scarf hooks and t-shirts migrating towards baby shoes. Clearance items are clearly tagged and usually I have a hope of finding those perky sandals at 30% I should have bought when they were there, but no one in Michigan thinks about sandals in January. Really, who comes up with these timetables? Someone in a sunshine state, that's who. Yes, Target HQ in Minnesota is in a sunshine state. Getting through cashiers is snappy -- Targets everywhere grade cashiers and mine, on the occasions I visit, usually have an 80% or higher 'G' rating. The good: clean, serviceable, bright, big aisles, lack of mountainous heaps of clothing. Seems to carry more mid-range sizes than other stores! The bad: popular, stock flies off the shelves (use the Target.com website to check), hectic Amenities: Starbucks, pharmacy, vision center, ATM, and a Del Taco place nearby. This is not my usual Target but I wish it was. It seems like a Super Target... huge parking lot to match a huge Target store. The Target was kept immaculately (from the aisles I visited) and was much more organized than my neighborhood Target. Additionally, the Starbucks attendant made me a PERFECT cinnamon dolce latte which led to my subsequent addiction which I am still trying to kick. I will forgive her for the terror this addiction has had on my pocketbook since the Target was so much nicer than general Targets. read more

Great Target. It is cleaner than other Target stores, probably because it is newer than some of the stores around. Huge Selection. I love roaming through their dollar aisles. You find great steals! I also love going through their clearance rack. Found an amazing long cardigan for $12 and a cool tank top for $6. I also love using cartwheel for their coupons. You never know whats really on sale til you scan the item on the app cartwheel. I am seriously debating on getting their target card. The employees are also pretty helpful! read more

Hands down favorite target EVER! Simply because the staff that works here is so friendly. Every single time I'm here I'm always greeted with a smile. Employees always say hello and ask if I need help finding anything. I'm not sure what they are doing here at their staff meetings but it works. I wish every Target had as nice a staff. read more

This place is heading for bankruptcy, believe it. The aisles are full of debris-cleanliness is not their focus, that's obvious. And they stock mainly low quality goods. Finally, you TRIP over the number of folks they have working there with Red Shirts on-so why can't they keep the place clean, well stocked and appealing???? It's apparent that despite all the bodies there they have poor utilization/oversight of the resources. There is something VERY wrong with Target's. The ONLY reason we shop there is we use the Pharmacy-and that may be ending with their buy-out by CVS. read more

Went to target to return some ink cartridges I bought. Spent $37.00. They would not exchange or refund my money because they said they can't accept opened ink cartridges. I asked well why don't you have that policy posted at the section where you buy ink? I get some generic answer from the manager say Target would loose money. What about the money I've just lost. I really love this Target. I have a very hard time driving past this store without stopping in. It has a really good flow to it in terms of the layout and is very organized. As was mentioned by the previous reviewer, this store really does have great stock. I have not been to many other branches with as much inventory as this store. I'm not sure if I should even consider this to be a good thing since I always end up going in for one thing and leaving with 10 other things I never needed! I am always very happy with my experience in this store. I highly recommend this Target (or as I like to call it, "Tar-je" or however you would try to pronounce it with a French accent haha). read more

I normally love this store but never again will I shop at this location. Shopping for my sons birthday and spending some major money ($800-1000) I had to quickly run out of line for a pair of scissors (which were within steps of the checkout) and had security called on me and was cursed at by the "lady" cashing us out. We were Imogene's last customers and she sure let us know that she was done helping us the second we walked up. Worst customer service experience ever. read more

My sound bar took a crap went to this target to buy a new one bought one spent $150 went home hooked it up tested the sound realized it was only 130 watts packed it up very nice went to exchange it for a 300 watt one the lady said they can't return it because the serial numbers don't match. I was dumbfounded are you serious I just bought this crap and she said there's nothing she can do I said let me talk to your Supervisor he came over said the same shit they kept looking at the serial number on the sub instead of the actual sound bar after I pointed that out they said we'll have to verify with someone in the morning I said I can't believe this shit finally after they realize there wrong had to go back in and exchanged for the bigger one and got 20% off still there staff are not the smartest read more

BAIT AND SWITCH! I love Target, and have been a loyalist for 15+ years, BUT, beware the bait and switch at this location! I found shadow boxes on a clearance rack- listed as original $6.99 and on clearance for $1.74. Upon checkout, they rang up for $15.89. When i pointed out the discrepancy, cashier said it had been mis-tagged and that she would charge the higher price. The only price shown on the package was the clearance tag. I asked her how i, as a consumer, would know it was mis-priced, she replied that it didn't matter, that she knew and that regardless of what was marked, they would not sell it for the marked price. She said she could offer a discount, but that MI law protected them from selling at the price that was marked on the item. When I asked for the manager, she said that she was the manager. I don't care about the boxes, or the $16, but the principle is alarming- as is the fact that she was not going to mention the discrepancy if I hadn't. It makes me wonder how many times I've thought I did well on sale items and ended up getting charged much more (8X more, in this case), than was marked. Watch your checkout ring ups! I'll never return to the Warren location. read more
