    This review is mixed. First of all, I drove up to the west entrance of the building because I normally like going in and out of that area. Also, because I was looking for something specific to that area of the store. It was disappointing to see that they close that entrance and is no longer operable. It is the entrance that faces the Jack-in-the-Box corner of the Claremont Square shopping center. Many of the items are not well organized. I just figured that it was because this was the night time, and all of the shopping customers have milled through everything. I did try a couple things on and I had to wait about five minutes for a fitting room attendant to help me. That wasn't bad and she was very customer service oriented. As a matter of fact, when she came to us just the fitting room line, she actually was still helping someone else nearby. I'm not sure if they are shortstaffed or if they just have workers that are just not available or around in any of the areas. I literally spotted four employees throughout my shopping time (1 hour): 1 Risk Mgmt Agent at the door, 1 Cashier, 1 Fitting Room Attendant, 1 Employee Stocking the employee Women's Accessories area. It was super disappointing because there were about 15 of us in the checkout line with one man checking out. Prior to coming to check out I had already chosen the items that I needed because they were big and bulky they needed to be opened with the security key in order for me to see inside before I decided on my purchase. This was about 30 minutes before I came to the checkout line. I saw my items waiting behind the cashiers counter and just assumed that the cashier understood that when I got to the front of the line he should open them up so that I can look inside to determine which one that I wanted. Well, that did not happen... Upon my turn in line, I told the cashier that my 3 items were there and he went over to them. I said I cannot get all of them. I just need to see the two of them inside and you have the key to open them, then I can decide which one I want. He tried for about 10 seconds to open the item with the security tag opener. It didn't work and so he asked the risk management agent to open it for him. The risk management agent also could not open it. I then asked him to try the other item. He was able to get that one open and so I decided to buy it. When it was time for me to check out (I am still at the front register with the unlocked item and 1 other item), there were now 16 to 20 people waiting for one cashier in the long line. The cashier asked me if I could wait in line again. I said absolutely not. I told him that I brought my article over here 30 minutes before I even got in line for the security tag to be removed, then waited in line for 20 minutes, and then it took 10 minutes to try to get the items open. They should have been opened before I came to the register honestly. The cashier shrugged at me, took another customer in front of me and then scanned my items very hastily and quickly. He was so quick and trying to dismiss me that he didn't even offer a bag to me for my items. I probably won't shop here anymore.

    Came here in the early afternoon and the lines were very busy. There were two cashiers and it took about 20 minutes of standing in line before I got to check out. There were several empty registers and it seemed like the place was understaffed. There were also several customers in line complaining about how long they were waiting. The cashier did not greet me or call me over when the previous customer left. I placed my items on the counter and the cashier was texting on her phone the entire time. I had to grab my own receipt because the cashier was too busy using her phone. This place is large and has a fairly good selection of products to choose from, but the shipping experience was not the best. There was a lot of trash on the product shelves and it was obvious that the place was not well maintained. They had a couple of broken/damaged item still on the shelves for sale. There was also some repairs being done in the building and I could hear a lot of loud construction noises.

    Scored some amazing deals on brand-name clothes and home goods at Burlington! The store is always well-stocked and organized, making it easy to find hidden gems. Love that I can get quality items at a fraction of the original price.

    BIG size store. Lots of inventory to find the great deals. Two entrances & exits. Both have cashiers. I would say this is my favorite of all the Burlington stores in San Diego. Because of the selections & good options. It's clean & organized. Only downfall I would say is sometimes the check out lines move slow. Other than that, Most of the staff are nice & friendly. Thanks.

    This may seem a bit odd but Burlington Coat Factory is one of the places I like to go to get unique spices, jams jellies and protein drink mixes. The prices are definitely cheaper however I have learned the hard way to pay close attention to expiration dates. In addition this is one of my go to places to comparison shop for cookware, bakeware and luggage. As always be aware of quality of goods.

    No coats manufactured, assembly lines, or billowing smokestacks here. Confusing name since they don't build anything or sell coats exclusively. My review focuses on the Men's Department, but I roamed the large building to see what else was going on. The square footage dedicated for menswear is impressive and selection will vary based on personal taste. Casual, sport, formal, shoes, ties, suits, etc...it's all there (++). I found it convenient that they had an in-store tailor shop. He was helpful and able to have my slacks adjusted that same Saturday (+). I only needed to go to the cashier first for a receipt before dropping the slacks off. The store layout is typical of any traditional store and this one also features two other specialty departments: 1) "Luxury Linens", which has linens (duh), furniture, housewares, and home decor. 2) "Baby Depot", which has an additional selection of clothes, maternity wear, furniture, and safety items. They also offer a baby registry service. The store didn't look like a disaster when I shopped and the lines to check out moved smoothly. There were two cashiers ringing up and a third organizing shelves nearby if assistance was needed. I paid a little over $100 to buy three shirts, a tie, slacks, and the tailor adjustment (+). This store may not have the best selection and/or availability of select items, but the value is there to be found and the place isn't overcrowded like other discount stores or outlet centers.

As a San Diego native I truly appreciate quality customer service in a busy busy world. I was looking for a new purse ( the two saleswomen were chatting away and glanced at me , and not even a smile back or " Can I help you with something?" ) and because it felt so non welcoming, I decided to shop for my husband in a friendlier department. I was looking for Dolce & Gabbana cologne for my husband ( I recommend the scent called , The One) and was greeted by such a lovely and professional young man. His name is Daniel G and he was so attentive and warm. He radiated simple elegance and kindness. No arrogance, just sincerity. He is most definitely one of a kind and sincere salesperson. It was a refreshing experience! Now my husband is twice as happy since I saved him money ( on not buying the purse) and he received a bottle of his favorite cologne. I hope Daniel's manager reads this, because his sales style felt exactly like what Nordstroms used to feel like years ago. Always grateful for the kindness while making a purchase, big or small.

But today I came mostly for bras. Alex was a fabulous salesperson and helped me figure out the best fit. She also found sizes that were not on the floor. Unfortunately the ones I found were not on sale - but I appreciate that they have a range of sizes and styles so everyone can be comfy. For bras, they have a great selection and knowledgeable help!

    Every time I come down to San Diego to visit my daughter, I usually stop by Westfield UTC. I really…read morelike this place because it's clean, nice, and there are a lot of food options, so we can just walk around, relax, do a little shopping, and eat all in one area. There are a few restaurants here that I personally like, especially Din Tai Fung and Haidilao. There's also Starbucks and plenty of other spots depending on what you're in the mood for. The whole area just has a comfortable vibe to it compared to a lot of other malls. Parking has honestly never been too difficult for me either. Upon entering, you're handed a cheerful little ticket promising a free first hour--how generous! What they don't tell you is that you'll spend roughly two-thirds of that hour trapped in a slow-moving purgatory just trying to escape. You've got about 20 blissful minutes to enjoy yourself before trying to join the line of cars that moves slower than a sloth on melatonin. I genuinely cannot tell if the exit gates are malfunctioning, cursed, or if the drivers ahead of me were participating in some sort of cognitive endurance experiment. Multiple cars took a baffling 4-5 minutes each at the gate--an interaction that should take about 10 seconds unless you're attempting to solve a Rubik's cube while blindfolded. By the time I escaped, I had aged another decade. I will absolutely never return to this parking lot. Bring a helicopter. Hope this helps.
