Staff was extremely nice and helpful! However, the inventory was lacking compared to the other boxlunch stores that I've shopped at. They carry cool merchandise from anime shows, Disney, Pixar, and popular movies. Definitely worth a visit if you're into Loungefly bags. Hopefully they bulk up the merchandise in store because the online store has SOOO MUCH COOL STUFF. Kind of a shame that you can't get the best stuff in person. read more

I don't know why this place doesn't have more reviews. It's the only Boxlunch, to my knowledge, in San Diego and the staff there are very welcoming and helpful. Sure, the inventory could be better, but you can just buy the stuff online and pick up in store to avoid shipping fees. This store is the main reason why I go to Parkway Plaza. read more

Terrible customer service and support! My fiancé and I came into box lunch today because I wanted to return the Christmas gift that he bought for me because I didn't like it. It was a funko pop and we were going to return it and just have the refund placed back on his card. When we approached the counter we explained the reason we were returning the item and the lady on the register who was helping us was prepared to proceed with the transaction. Then her counterpart came over and said he didn't think they were allowed to do the return. She explained to him that it was within the time frame still for holiday returns and that she thought it was fine. He said that it's a funko pop which is considered a collectible item and that collectible items have a 7 day return policy. He said the most that he could do was give us store credit back. I asked him if we could please just get the money refunded to us in either cash or back on my fiancés card as we don't usually shop at at Boxlunch and there was nothing there that I would buy with the store credit. I told him this was a Christmas gift and we would really appreciate just getting the refund back on our card. He refused and still persisted that was all he could do. I asked if I could speak to a manager and he told me there wasn't a manager in store today. I asked if there was a way to contact the manager so that I may speak to him/her and he said no. It was very frustrating, on top of the employees also not seeming to be on the same page regarding store policy. This policy about the collectibles was not explained to my fiancé upon purchase and we showed the guy the receipt that says there's a 30 day return policy but there was nothing on the receipt stating for collectibles the policy is 7 days. That would make no sense because technically their whole store is collectible items. Unfortunately we left the store with the store credit because that was really the only option as I did not want to be stuck with the item I did not like. Boxlunch please do better! read more

I want to give kudos to staff members Selena and Rose for going above and beyond to assist me and provide exceptional customer service. Overall all staff in the store were very attentive and friendly. This was my first store visit to a Boxlunch location. This was my second purchase with the company, I recently learned of the brand. Selection and sizing of the store also a 10 out of 10. I called this store a few days prior about an item I wanted to buy that sold out "McDonalds Happy Meal Crossbody" and asked Rose if she would call me if it gets restocked. Thankfully, staff member Rose called me back promptly to inform me that it was restocked, I was also informed about their Instagram, and overlooked their posting was a story not a post, so I suggest others to look at the story which is cool that they post the night before. Rose assisted me at check out and she was a delight, and she helped me locate my coupon. I ended up buying two of these bags and some socks. I also didn't know they have clothes for children, and I recommend this place for people to buy gifts. Especially since Boxlunch donates money to feed the hungry every $10 spent. read more
