I have attempted to place 3 orders in 2 months at BurlingtonCoatFactory.com. The first time I used a debit card. The second and third times I used gift cards. In all 3 orders I received an email from BurlingtonCoatFactory.com confirming my order.. Also with all 3 orders within seconds of the confirmation email I received a cancellation email from BurlingtonCoatFactory.com because the item was not in stock - even though with the third order I had called before clicking the submit button to be sure it was in stock and upon finding it was I clicked submit. With the first order I used a debit card and with the second and third orders I used a gift card. Although BurlingtonCoatFactory.com was very quick (immediately) to take the money off my debit card, and the value of the gift cards, it took several days to have my money and gift card values refunded. I was told on December 2, 2016 my complaint (about items that were out of stock still being at the web site and my being allowed to order those items without any warning what so ever the items were not available) was being expedited and I would hear from someone within a couple days but the call never came. I know I am not so special and unique that this is only happening to me. BurlingtonCoatFactory.com obviously doesn't care about the satisfaction of their customers. But for those who haven't shopped at Burlingtoncostfactory.com yet, I want to warn them about this major problem and try to save them the frustration I and others have repeatedly experienced. Embarrassed to be in this store. Every department was messy, unorganized and out of place.

The store associates are always kind and helpful anytime I ask for assistance. The cashiers are kind and move as fast as possible but they really should have more associates at the cash registers for multiple reasons. Some of us get out of line because you are cramped together because they done enforce social distancing while should to shoulder with the person behind you. The lines are always extremely slow regardless of the day or time because they normally have 2 people on the registered and that's it. The inventory seems to be the same every time I go even if I stay away for a month which is strange because most stores get new items weekly. I would say it's usually messy but I blame that partially on the customers constantly dropping items and not putting them back on racks or hangers because I've seen it multiple times while shopping. I can shop here every few months in hopes of them getting new items and trying to gauge when the line will die down each time. read more

No coats for a so called "coat factory" and the employers are horribly rude ! Customer service sucks!!! They won't help you out with what you need. They just tell you to find another store where they sell coats. Kudos to this Burlington and the staff today. I usually don't come to this one due long lines and no registers open. I took a chance today even though is the day before Easter. With lines to the back of the store, they had 5 registers open, fast friendly staff. I got in line at 12:14 I swear I was out by 12:25ish. read more

I'm not familiar with this department store, however the ladies in my family seems to give this place a two thumbs up. Prices are supposedly inexpensive and there's a lot of great FINDS here particularly clothing (so they say). My recent experience here (with family) was not bad. The store itself was clean. Not as organized as they want it to be though. They try to categorized their products, signs by aisles and so forth but fails to deliver. I must say, it is an interesting store; lots of variety. I think they pretty much have a bit of everything. I personally was not impressed with their clothing section, but I did find some good priced pack of Nike socks, children books, toys and crafts. It was hard for me to find an associate. I was pretty much on my own to browse and find things. Almost like a treasure hunt type. However, my family seemed to know their way around and did not need any assistance until check out. They were pleased and enjoyed their time in Burlington. They were all excited about their purchases; comparing/bragging who got the biggest discounted item. Overall, it's 3 stars rating from me, 4 stars rating from them. read more

Store is a disorganized mess. There are 7 people in line and only 1 open register while another cashier left to do go backs. I asked the lady t customer service for a prices chek and she had me wait through the whole line. Once I got to the front the only cashier had to go find a comp item and then ask the same lady who I had asked to help me in the first place. I felt bad for all of the people in line behind me. I bought a pair of coach flats about a month ago at Burlington coat factory. I never wear them until yesterday, after half an hour of wearing them I had blisters on my back of the feet. I went to the store to return them . I couldnt return them,because I took off the tags off. Of course if you going to wear something. You need to take the tags off.. I explained them about the blisters and they didn't care. .now I have shoes that I cant wear. the employees were very rude. Next time check before you buy in there. The store sucks read more

This store has HORRIBLE customer service every time I walk in. The lines are long with 3 registers open ONLY. And no one is helpful when it comes to helping me look for things. And I hate to bring race into but it seems like the black female manager and older black female cashiers always have an attitude. Worst customer service ... waited in line for 30 min Their was one cashier who was with a customer who was doing a return . She didn't really ever look at the two of us in line . She finished with return then fed ex came in and she decided to enter all that info in the computer . Making us wait again . There was one lady in front of me .The line is growing and now 6 of us waiting . She saw the line growing never asked for help. Three other employees had gone up wandered around and went back to organizing and doing other things. . Finally someone came her. Are I as patty . Hardly ever stop in due to the long lines; however, I did tonight and boy do I regret it. It was late, about 30 minutes to closing time and although there were no lines, I still had to wait 5-8 minutes to check out as Brenda, at register #2, said since she didn't call me I needed to get back in line. Now mind you, her light was on. I thought she didn't see me so I went up. She was just rearranging her area, and couldn't ring me up cause of that. Stopped at this store while in the area. Big mistake! This has got to be the dirtiest Burlington I have ever been in. Some soap, water and a good mopping, along with a Swiffer to dust would do this place wonders. No carts available & when I did find one it was so filthy you wouldn't want to put anything in it. I have tried to shop at this place a couple of times now and it is just a mess. The store looks old and the clothes are old and cheap of quality. There is always a long line to check out and the ladies at the register are extremely slow. I came here to find some little girl hair accessories and stood in line for well over 25 minutes and it was like we never moved. I had to put my stuff down and leave. I have been to other Burlingtons, like the one in West Covina, and it is a totally different quality store. The return policy is just ridiculous!!! I bought two dresses that just did not fit right. Still brand new with tags and they would NOT let me return it what so ever. I would have taken lowest price of the dresses for a store credit but they refused to take them. The employees i delt with were also so rude. This the worst Burlington Coat Factory ever. Sophia the manager needs to be fired. I came in two days ago bought a housewares item that was broken when I got it home. Came to return it and the one other one that was on the shelf was broken as well. I decided to get another one that was simular and that costs more money than the one that I bought initially. I went to the Customer Service register and it was closed. A lady told me I had to stand in the line that was almost to the back of the store. The line was this same way two days ago when I came in. I asked if could just make my exchange at the appropriate customer service register and was of course told no. I stood in the line and called the store from inside where I got Sophia the manager. She did nothing, sounded like attitude and said someone would help me as soon as possible in the long line and there was only one register open. As I was speaking to her one more register became available. She then proceeded to advise it's two registers open. I told her it just opened 30 seconds ago. I will not shop here again it's the same bad customer service all the time. Why have your customers wait in long lines each and every time they come into thus store. The store had literally NO COATS. the irony. it's a coat factory with zero coats in Stock. very disappointed.

Let's start with their layaway pickup. You stand in line and the person in front of you has a layaway pick up. The millennial cashier proceeds to take her sweet time to go to the back and get the stuff only to figure out she needs to come back to the front to get a flat cart for all the stuff she needs to grab. This process only took 10 minutes. Even after the manager sees us still waiting, she goes back to the EMPTY service counter to rave about all the donations they have received for the day. Finally, the millennial comes back pushing a cart 3 times her weight and proceeds to take one item out at a time to show the person in front of me. Then the manager stops the millennial and tells her to put all the stuff back into the cart so that the off duty employee (the person in front of me) can use the cart to get all this crap to her car. So, ONE BY ONE, the millennial starts putting the stuff back, stops half way to process this person's payment only to find out HER CARD DOESN'T WORK. So she uses another card and that one doesn't work either. So it was concluded that the card machine must not be working correctly by both the off duty employee and the millennial. I waited in the line for 20 minutes at this point and left my $75 worth of items on the counter and left. There were no carts, the store was short of being ghetto and your lucky if you find anything where it's supposed to be. This is the 3rd time I've had a bad experience and this particular Burlington and I will NOT be returning. I'll spend my money elsewhere from this point forward. read more

Burlington Coat Factory carries nothing but JUNK! I bought a purse at the Redlands location that lasted no more than 5 weeks, every zipper broke and there were multiple holes in the liner. I tried to take it back without a receipt, they accused me of not taking care of my belongings and when I threatened to never shop at their store again, they laughed and said "fine". Well I will NEVER shop at this unorganized, cheap, junky store with high school dropouts for store managers.
