Today I got great service but it's a hit and miss here last time I couldn't get service to pull up my coupon and all the clerks talked about in front of me was their daily goals ! Ok I'm in Real Estate but we're not going to discuss this in front of our clientele this was in 5//26 I think ! However the girl at the counter today was great ! I was frustrated enough that I walked out of this location and immediately decided to write a review. I began to search Yelp to find that this location had not been added. I then decided that I would add all the business information and get it on Yelp in order to rate this Tillys a 1 star. I don't typically shop at Tilly's but they seem to be the easiest place to pick up a jar of Layrite hair product. I walked in, grabbed a jar and began to wait in line. Simple enough. I was called to the counter and exchanged pleasantries with the cashier. She then told me to insert my card. I informed her that I was paying with my phone. She looked at her supervisor and asked if they can take "Apple Pay." I informed her that I was using "Samsung Pay" and that it would work just fine. The supervisor said it wouldn't work and they only take "physical" cards. I told them that it would be fine, "Samsung Pay" would work. They still persisted that it wouldn't and maybe with their upcoming system I could use it. I told them to just run it like a card and it would work. The supervisor still said that i couldn't use it. I finally said that i would pay with a card. The cashier said okay and got the machine ready. I said that I was still going to try "Samsung Pay." I touched my phone to the machine and without issue, it read the card. The supervisor then stepped up, without saying a word to me, told the cashier that she will have to void the transaction and then promptly began to. At this point I was pretty upset and just walked away. I have a valid form of payment and a functional one at that, but just so she could be right, my purchase was denied. I've had employees in other stores say it wouldn't work and then find that it will once I show them but have never had anyone void my transaction just because I was using "Samsung Pay." read more

Not able to use fitting room to nurse my child..... hmmmm necessary topic in next meeting. Not cool.... Luckily I wasn't the one to cause more of a scene BUT I did sit right in front of fittings rooms and nursed more publicly... company definitely needs to reevaluate company policy if in fact these rules exist. read more

I walked in to this store to check out some sunglasses. I wanted to see how they fit. Then like any man went and got my wife to get her take on how they fit. Unfortunately, when I went back that same night I was "that customer" the one that comes in right as you are trying to close up the store. I went back to show my wife the same pair of sunglasses. All the employees were very helpful and even played along with letting my 5 year old try on a watch that he liked knowing that we were not going to buy it. Not once did we feel rushed so they can closed up. It was actually the opposite they took there time and even gave my kids a Tilly's keychain. We got that good customer service that is hard to find now a days from all the employees here without buying anything and them knowing we had no intentions of buying anything . I am now a Tilly's fan without even buying anything from them. I have the keychains on all my keys and will be going back to give them my business. Went in for some Converse and as you know converse are kind of weirdly sized compared to vans and for me i haven't purchased these type of shoes for many years.So I Tried on 4 different sizes but when i asked for the 3rd shoe size I apologized because the employee looked annoyed as if I was sending her on purpose .Keep in mind was the only person in the shoe section and it was pretty empty.When i got to a 6 1/2 I still didn't like the fit so for my final size I was going to get a 7.A different employee starts walking toward me and my two family members just dead staring and talking on his walky . I said sorry once again and asked for the size he said ok and brought back the box but instead of leaving me with the pair of shoes he only handed me one and walked away.I was confused but i tried them on and sure enough it was a great fit.So I told him we would be purchasing the shoes and as I put out my hand he declined and said no ill take them to the front for you as if i was going to steal them.When i got up to the front he put them on the other side of the counter across from the cash register.If that wasn't enough when I was paying with the first employee that helped me and she was questioning me on moving up sizes. I faked laughed it off but thought the whole situation on how they treated me as a customer , I felt uncomfortable and will not be returning to that tiles or maybe even any at all. read more
