The store is clean and well organized. However, if you plan to shop here, be prepared to have a lot of patience. It seems like there are only two staff members working the entire store and there is always just one person at the register. On two occasions, the wait was so long that I ended up abandoning my cart and leave. read more

I dropped by Burlington as I kept seeing a particular shoe I wanted to try out might be there. So since I was in the area, I figured why not try my luck. Unfortunately I didn't find what I wanted but at least I got to quickly check out this Burlington. L O C A T I O N Burlington took over the Toys R Us/Baby's R Us location in Pacific Commons. It's next to Kohls. Parking isn't difficult in this area. I N S I D E It's pretty spacious with very high ceilings. I felt like things were laid out in fairly straight forward manner. I knew exactly where to go when I saw shoes and easily perused through the aisles. I didn't take too much time to look at other items. I find that items in Burlington as similar to Marshalls or TJMaxx or HomeGoods. It's a gamble and you shouldn't go there to look for specific brands unless you know for sure they might carry it. You go to a Burlington for specific items and then see what kind of brands they end up carrying for those items if they're known or unknown that's all part of the fun. O V E R A L L Not a bad option if you're just browsing for clothing, household goods, or maybe a stocking stuffer. I didn't get to experience the check out line so can't comment on that, but would come back if I was hunting for a specific item and trying to get a good deal, and wouldn't be too heart broken if I didn't find it there. read more

RIDICULOUS!!!! Don't bother with this place. The checkout employees have the no urgency to get you checked out. Some employees think its better to just wander around the store in stead of helping customers check out. It's a shame because this store has hidden gems inside. I was in line to buy a few items and there was a lot of us waiting and 2 cashiers. Then for some reason one of the cashiers stop helping customers and decides to tag items seeing how long the line was! I felt like telling her to read the room!!! You need to help out. To top it off the only girl ringing customers up was letting the customer still shop. Everyone in line looked pissed. Typical Burlington store, when you go in, you may find something you like in your size at a great price. Or you might find nothing. The store looks mostly organized. Very well stocked. There us plenty of parking outside as it is part of a large shopping center. Needless to say I won't be coming back here. It's not worth my time. With the amount of time you will waste standing to get checked out, you're better off paying full price. If you have the patience to wait over 15 minutes in line, then this is your place. read more

Another 1 star for waiting in line for 30 minutes. Why do you only have one cashier? Why would you have such a huge store and be understaffed? read more

Not the most helpful employees asked about returning the fragrance, even though some stores do take them. Was never told that their store didn't accept returns and that all sales were final. I prefer the one in Manteca California since they do take returns in no questions asked. read more

This store should be monitored for racial profiling against their customers. Today I went to purchase a knitted shopping bag. The cashier explained she could not sell this shopping bag alone without a clothing item to purchase with it! I had a bag of ginger chews and the bag. Said, I want to speak with a manager. The manager reiterated the same crap. I WAS TOLD THAT THEY COULD NOT SELL ME THE SHOPPING BAG, AS I OR PEOPLE USE THESE BAG TO STEAL!! This was told both by the cashier and her manager - that it was store policy. I was then asked that if I purchased shopping bag, I had to leave store. WTF! Stores like Kohls. Bed Bath Beyond, Macys, Nordstrom, food chains can not survive CV, low foot traffic, theft, online shoppers, and less disposable income. This is NO way to treat customers by racial profiling and/or assuming they want to steal cheap stuff at Burlington who, by the way has rebranded and hanging on financially by a string. It's not my problem that management has implemented policies that will eventually shoot them in the foot and close their doors. I want an apology from management and will be bringing this to corporate for review. Do not shop here! read more

Honestly I didn't have any bad opinions coming in, I was impressed on how clean and organized things were compared to other Burlington's I've been to, but then standing in line is what ruined everything for me. We have been in this pandemic and practicing social distancing for about a year now and the line was NOT social distancing at all. Everyone was getting way too close and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. No staff came to remind people to stand on the spaces and social distance. It was terrible. Also, I had bought an item from another store and had it in my backpack which had set the alarm off in the doors. Instead of just checking my receipt and seeing what I bought I was pulled aside to check my entire bag. I understand they want to make sure I'm not stealing, but at the same time I just felt so embarrassed. And she was going to search my bag right next to the door instead of leading me to a table that was right next to the doors. Also, when I was removing my things she was also grabbing it and I feel like she should've either cleansed her hands or had gloves on. Terrible shopping experience here and will never return. read more

Honestly Burlington coat factory I thought you were the last good place to shop at because you have a big and tall section and because you've never ever made judgment enough to follow people around just brcause of the way they look like ross and other places have.... Well until today. Today I just got my credit cards back in the mail after having my wallet stolen so I need clothes and I've been waiting desperately for these cards in the mail and was very excited to see that they made it I went to Burlington thinking I was going to buy a pretty much everything my size and in pretty much I was until I went to go activate my card... I hadn't set up my activate my card yet and I didn't realize so once I was done shopping I took my car to the front of the store and I was going to leave it by the front counter so that I would be easily be able to obtain it to stand in line as soon as I activated my card well that didn't happen because as soon as I got within 5 or 10 feet of the door which is where the counters are you know I was going straight for the cutter three people are costing me accusing me of stealing and that to stop and cease it was completely embarrassing when I hadn't even walked out of the store I didn't even tried Number one being accused of stealing is very very embarrassing okay it makes you lesser than everybody else in the room makes you a a filthy lying cheating rat pretty much that's the lowest of the low so now everybody's looking at me like oh that freaking thief whatta lowlife... Mind you i have not sto]en anything before and makes me cringe @!@!@@+. This experience when I was completely completely embarrassing threw me off guard I was completely outraged by The manor in which the loss prevention would not even seem to hear anything that came out of my mouth automatically I was triggered at some kind of a felonious everyfay run of the mill theif when i had not even attempted to walk out yet. They then snatched the handcart out my hand told me that i was going to jail and asked me why i steal when all i was trying to do was leave my basket by the checkout so that when i was done activating my new card my basket would be conveniently close to check out and leave but instead was accosted and prejudged and thats really messed up iy totallyruined my experience with BURLINGTON COAT FACTORY AND I'LL PROBABLY NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN EITHER MARK MY WORDS WHEN I SAY I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN THAT MEANS I WON'T GIVE THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO TREAT ME LIKE THEY DID TO THIS TIME I'M GOOD JUST LETTING YOU GUYS KNOW DON'T COME HERE read more

Today I went to return stuff and the Manager whose name is LINDA was so rude and treated me so bad. She put the receipt right in front of my face and made me really scared cuz it looked like she was about to attack me. This Burlington should hire a new manager who treats and talks nicely to customers speaks like an educated person. If I can give negative stars on this review I would. Too bad for this Burlington because you will lose many potential customers with this lady working here. read more

Nice clothing but staff are no where to be found and they treat you like your about to steal. Waited for someone to let me in the fitting room but no one showed up. Won't be returning to this location. read more

It seemed pretty mind blowing to me that when I came into this store, the coat rack was empty. When you think of Burlington Coat Factory, I would expect there to be coats in stock. However, when I got there last Friday, I looked all over the store and when I finally found the coat section, the rack was empty. I couldn't believe it. read more

When the Burlington in Newpark Mall closed down, they opened a new one in Pacific Commons. They are occupying the old ToysRus location. It's a huge store, a lot spaces. Things are well organized (than any Burlington I have been to). They are clean, a lot of sanitizing stations, terrific trial rooms. Having said all of those, problem with this store is, they don't have enough merchandise for selection. That's quite unlikely of a Burlington. Have been looking for windbreakers and hoodies specifically. I have found them in Burlington stores in any season. And the worst part was the long line for checkout. Single person at counter and very long line. Almost 30 mins in line to buy couple of items. If they can add merchandises and improve their services, this store can be really great. One of the spacious store; just have to utilize it. read more

Burlington - Department Stores Near Me - Fremont, California

8/19/23 Saturday around 9:51Pm My husband & I came to Burlington at this location , Searched online before going and it said they closed at 11pm also the sign on the front of the store says the same that they close at 11:pm we get into the store & the lady says there closed we told her it' says 11pm she says no they are closed at 10am just like the other stores around them . Which is odd because almost all Burlington's are open at that time so I feel she just wanted to close the store regardless of what time it's actually about to close she turned away me and other customers bad business if you ask me . read more

Gina the stock coordinator is amazing! She's very helpful and great customer service! I'm a grateful Burlington shopper

I noticed this store didn't have a page. So I made one! I love Burlington! Especially this location! When they first opened around October I came in on their grand opening. Since then the lines are still kept under control, store looks neat, customer service is A1 and they encourage social distancing! read more

The cleanest most organized Burlington I have been to. Bathroom was sparkling.prices on merchandise. Things hang up. Excellent!

Very clean and up to dat shopping facility. Didn't walk around too much there though. I was just there honestly for a Amazon pick up they have inside there and it's real cool and accessible and I feel comfortable picking up my items here if I need to read more

Customer service is something they really need to improve on or this store isn't going to last...I needed to try on a few things.so I went to the fitting room, and there was a sign that stated that the new fitting rooms were up front now..so I go and they were both locked, so I went to the cashier and asked them for the key.but told me that the fitting rooms wouldn't be open for another hour..I said " but the customer is here now!..the cashier just shrugged her shoulders and said " that's how corporate wants it". I've tried being patient with this store but I will not be returning there. Unfortunate read more

Don't see Union City location. Went there today Infant wear dept. Most of the 2 & 3 piece outfits have the pants left or top. Customers are removing what they want as a set. This is wasting shoppers time. Security pin tags should make this UNremovable. Ross stores have already done this...Not all styles in every size read more

Second time I tried coming in and they close the doors early and would not let customers in. How can you close a store 30-45 minutes early? I needed a few items last minute that I knew they had. Not only are they driving customers away; the employees are stealing the company's TIME and MONEY and not getting mine. read more

Took a chance and bought mascara two days ago. When I opened it, it was all dried up. Took it back and asked for my money. They were like "we don't issue return s on opened items" how else does anyone expect me to find out about the mascara if not by opening it. Asked the employee to call the manager only to be told that's the policy and call corporate if I wanted. People save your $5 and don't purchase mascara at this place it is old and they don't issue refunds on opened items. If you want fresh mascara go to Target instead. read more

Horrible customer service here. The cashier lady named Laurie was so rude from the start. I had 2 returns and she assumed before she even looked at the clothing that there damage? She even called a supervisor and supervisor said it was ok to return. Her whole encounter was pretty bad. I told her you need to learn customer service and she responded "I'm retiring in 2 weeks I don't care file a complaint" manager/supervisor was still nearby said nothing and no eye contact. My husband bought me a pair of shoes, yet both pairs were left shoes so after standing in such a long line to return it or even retrieve a right shoe, they said I couldn't be helped. I asked to speak to a manager because I was on my way somewhere and needed a pair of shoes, this woman was so rude and proceeded to talk to me as if I were incompetent. I later called and found out her name was Linda, I'm not sure of her last name. I have yet to come back to Burlington and I am extremely disappointed. read more

I wouldn't even give 1 star for this store. The staff here is very rude and lazy to work. The store hours say it closes at 10 pm but the staffs say it is closed at 9:30 pm itself. No customers were there for billing at that time. According to the staff the store was closed so I guess the customers were sent away before 9:30. I have gone twice to this store and both times they said the store was closed (earlier than 10 pm). They wouldn't even let me see anything. They were very rude and shouting at us to leave the store. When I asked them that the store closes at 10 pm right so why are they asking me to leave. They said closing time 10 pm is for them. Whenever we go they are rude and say they are closed. That kind of behavior will not get them customers. No wonder it was always empty whenever we went to that store. They don't feel like working so they close the store whatever time they want. The other branches in Great Mall and Union City announce that store is closed at the closing time and ask the customers to go for billing. Why the rules are different in this branch alone? It looks like the people who work there make those rules. There is no specific time for returns but this store person says it's before 8 pm. The Union City store took the return after 10 pm (closing time is 11:30 pm). There is no option for 0 stars otherwise I would've given 0 stars for this store. Please go to the Great Mall store or Union City store. The staff there is polite and respectful. read more

Website states the store location closing time is 10 pm on Thurs when I visited. The door store sign lists 10 pm closing time. I went to the store at 9:05 pm and the doors were locked. The security guy at the door said the store is closed and to read the sign. I pointed to the sign that listed 10 pm. I said you need to change the sign and the online information. Waste of my time and not bothering to ever go back. Now I can see why there are so many bad reviews of this location. Stay away and spend your money elsewhere. This location will probably close soon because so many people are going elsewhere. read more

I went to shopping with my daughter and we bought some sunglasses and cashier lady forgot to remove sensor chip because she looked, she was under training because she had the temporary batch and when on the way out the alarm got pop up and I asked my daughter to stop immediately and go to the lady on the entrance gate and I showed the bill and all the purchase, and my daughter found out that the cashier didn't remove the sensor chip from the glasses. Alit was so embarrassing, even I asked the lady to apologize but she was standing still like a arrogant robot. And kept staring on us. So before you got here you must think twice. read more

I don't really like going to this Burlington because the employees follow you around but don't bother offering assistance which is very uncomfortable. Especially when you're there to spend money and you end up getting profiled because of your skin color. And if you're shopping close to closing they always try to rush you to check out even if it's 10/15 minutes before the store is is actually supposed to close. But besides all of that the biggest issue I have is when you google this location the store hours say that it closes at 11pm. So I drove there just to find the store already closed. And I read another review on here saying that they were already closed at 9pm when they got there. So, I'm not sure if they close at 9 or 10pm but it's definitely not the 11pm that it states online. I think that's a very important detail that needs to be corrected online because they don't know how far someone might be coming from to visit their store. As far as the merchandise and the state of the store, it is like every other Burlington that you would go to anywhere else. read more
