Burlington has anything and everything you need. I was looking for a new coat and they had some coats and lots of fleece items but not the coat I was looking for. I'm assuming more coats will appear soon. I appreciated how clean and organized the store was. I've been into many large chain stores and they aren't always clean. read more

So Cary is the new New York City for me when it comes to shopping. I was able to get to the store for opening at 9:00 on a Sunday and really scored some awesome deals ! I was in search of a puffer jacket with some style and dimension for the winter here in North Carolina. I really wanted a fitted wool coat but they didn't have those styles. Now that it's January coats were marked down. I scored a Nicole Miller Studio puffer coat for $17. It has adorable belting on the back giving a curvy girl like me some shape !!!! Not like these bulky parka style jackets that make u look 2X your size. It has a beautiful green shimmery color. A steal for $17 !!!!!!! I also found a purple bean bag chair for my daughter's room ! As well as some wall art. I also bought some sweaters and a pair of G by Guess hiking block heels for $7.99 !!!! Unheard of !!!!!Customer service was excellent and I will be back. read more

Burlington - Department Stores Near Me - Cary, North Carolina

In town visiting. Stopped in to shop. Checkout had one cashier and we waited in line over 15 minutes. Ridiculous!!

This location has been bad since a month after opening. The isles always have crap in the middle of them. The employees are fighting with each other and the other workers are literally no where to be found for help. read more

Burlington - Department Stores Near Me - Cary, North Carolina

This place is still in the freaking Stone Age... every time I come here there is a line that raps around the wall because they only have one or maybe two people at the registers. Like come on now people we have to do better. read more

This Burlington is clean, bright, open and fairly new. I go mostly for their household/decorating items, because their prices are really good (even better than at a certain superstore). This time of year, they have a lot of seasonal items. I haven't seen many employees walking around, but the checkout line is well-organized and always goes quickly. read more

Store is always in pieces. Watched the supervisor yell at a customer and call her rude in front of a group of customers and then single handedly to every customer he talked to after. Most employees are rude as can be and will not be bothered to help. Also was charged twice for one item by the supervisor who yelled at the customer, because he was too busy comparing to me about her. When I went back inside to fix it the cashier had an attitude read more

I shopped here with one other person on a Sunday afternoon. These are my thoughts and observations. -They display product like a thrift store, were everything is sorted by type. -There are no consistent displays; you have to dig for what you want. -The styles are out of date. -The vibe is shady. -Everything is sold at discount prices. Overall, it's a thrift store feel with new items. That's not my thing. read more

Okay, this place is a tad on the shady side and I was very disappointed in the overall appearance and upkeep of this place. I understand it's a discount store--which I am all for--but I don't think I need to be subjected to dressing rooms with no locks, graffiti, no hooks, and in some cases, no doors at all. The lights hurt my eyes, but the prices made it all better. This place has Calvin Klein, Miss Sixty, Steve Madden, and the like. I even saw a Guess coat I purchased last winter at 50% of what I paid. Doh! I'm not really one for labels, but I do like quality garments at a good price and Burlington Coat Factory is perfect for that. The associates were friendly, and be sure to check out the home goods section. I bought two shirts, two pairs of leggings, dress pants and sunglasses for $75. Not too shabby. But you definitely need your game face on when you go here. read more

I just have to write a review because one woman's trash is another woman's treasure. I don't know what the other reviewer is on the prowl for, but I have had some success at this Burlington Coat Factory Warehouse. I think the trick is to be looking for a general category and not something very very specific. Some of my favorite finds I've gotten there - A Nicole Miller coat, floor length and if I say so myself, stunning! for $99.99 which originally retailed for $349.99; a Calvin Klein sheath dress for $49.99 which originally retailed for $199.99 and countless Kenneth Cole Reaction pairs of sunglasses which for some reason always get lost. Their home section pretty decent at times as well - I have gotten some really gorgeous pieces for my living room there at times, but sometimes there's nothing there at all that catches my fancy. read more

Extremely impressed with this Burlington. We went specifically to look at the baby items. They have everything you would need! Found a lot of designer clothes for my son. They also had a great selection of home goods. Was able to get a lot of decorations for the fall. Can't wait to go back! read more

Terrible place!! Customer service is awful and they are so rude... I even called a few times and got put on hold every time and no one seemed interested in helping me read more

It was my favourite department store before today. I went there with two my kids 3 and 4 years old to buy some clothes and toys. Staff was in a bad mood - no greetings, no "hello", no "thank you", no even a smile or a word in front of fitting rooms. My kids was happy before one store worker (woman with leg in a cast) asked us to leave. I held a hand of my elder child and went to my youngest, when that lady complained a store manager about me and my kids, so he repeated her words "we ask you to leave". I grabbed my youngest son, he was crying a lot because he wanted to buy that toys in our cart. I felt myself humiliated, I left everything we needed in the cart and left. I do not understand why they did this to us. We didn't do anything wrong. I feel discriminated as an immigrant women with kids. read more

They store was located down the street but it had snow damage last year. They opened this new location and it is nice. The layout is great. Everything is easy to find and the store isn't huge but still has a bunch of stuff you want and need. Being a talk big guy I find it hard to find the brands I want in the size I need. They always have cloths that I want and shoes that fit by the brands and designer I want. You can find great prices and not have to compromise on quality. read more

I was very disappointed with the customer service and management at the Cary,NC store recently. I shop there often and never had a bad experience but I will never go back there again! I patiently waited in line for 20 mins. with only one person ahead of me & 2 sales associates working the registers. Just before it was the persons turn in front of me, one of the sales people shut there light off, stood behind the counter hanging empty hangers on a rack. I looked behind me and there was a huge line of 11 people with carts waiting to be checked out. (14 people, some with kids and babies.) When I finally got to the register a few minutes later I told the girl working that they need to hire more help and the other sales women should not have turned off her light to play with hangers with such a huge line of waiting people. She actually never listened and talked over me the whole time, I told her that was rude and no way to treat a customer. I decided to leave without buying anything and she actually through s toy at me. Horrible customer service . If I could rate it a zero star I would read more

After eating the 5 pc chicken tenders from Zaxby's I just had to drop on by Burlington coat factory to get myself some bigger sized pants. I was happy to see that they have an abundance of big and tall sizes. I don't need big or tall, but it was just nice to see. read more

This place is lost in time. How do they stay in business? I guess if you are stuck in the 90's you would appreciate the selection here. Tj Maxx blows this away. If you have time to sift through all the crap, maybe you can find something. read more

This is probably my favorite Burlington in the Raleigh-Durham area. Others tend to be unorganized and picked over. The Walnut Street location is fairly new and replaced the Buck Jones store that closed after the hurricane and never reopened. The new store is really bright and welcoming, much different from other Burlingtons that just feel drab and thankful to be open for business. Cary is a bit of a drive from my house but for this store it's totally worth it. Burlington is basically a huge discount warehouse. Clothing, home decor, baby stuff, accessories...you name it they've probably got it. I went while shopping for a winter coat, and I was really impressed by their selection, especially compared to the Durham location. Lots of name brand coats (Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Guess, etc) in a wide variety of styles. Re shoes- there were a few pairs of Frye boots for sale, unfortunately not in my size. I've never seen Frye boots at the Durham store. I will say that usually the clothing sections (ie, women's shirts and pants) usually just have too many items and I start to feel overwhelmed. For that reason, I rarely go to Burlington just to browse- I always have a specific goal, ie find a winter coat, find a pair of black leather boots, etc. That helps me focus and not get distracted by all the other stuff in the store. Overall, the Cary location is worth the drive for a better selection and overall shopping experience. Check them out!! read more

Yelp says the store has closed, but I just shopped there today. Their prices were great, but I was unable to find my size in a coat that I liked. Of course, it is the end of the season. They have a good selection of fashion jewelry. read more
