I either am in super cozy lazy clothes or wearing a designer outfit. I'm slowly transitioning all my jeans and nicer shirts to timeless styles with designer labels and thanks to thrift stores and consignment shops, I've been doing a pretty dang good job! So I was excited to find Fifi's (my boyfriend who had to sit and hold my purse while I tried everything on in the dressing room on the other hand wasn't). I was greeted by a friendly sales person when I walked in and she asked if I was looking for anything in particular. I said I had a few favorite brands and she immediately directed me to Lilly Pulitzer and Free People. I haven't seen so much Lilly in one store before, I was curious how they got that. I ended up with a Free People top and two pairs of Paige jeans. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely stop by Fifi's to see their selection once more. One thing to note: they are a bagless company. I had a good laugh when the saleswoman asked, "we are bagless, is that ok?" and I replied "what would you do if I said no?" she didn't have a response for me, haha! read more

A great place to sell and buy beautiful things. Fifi's only stocks what's in season, so it's easy to browse and not overcrowded. Every item is labeled with a date, and anything a month or older is 40% off. However, this doesn't apply if the tag had a red dot - means a designer item. The staff is very pleasant and helpful, never too busy to answer a question or help find something. I find great items every time I go, and prefer to shop here rather than in regular new clothes stores. read more

Big, beautiful space in Cameron Village. Much larger than the Durham location, and with a great deal more clothes. I've been told they move designer merchandise more effectively at this store, so there may even be more luxe labels to look at, and the merchandise should refresh pretty frequently. The clothes are priced with a growing percent-discount based on how long they've been in the store (with the exception of designer items)... so I picked up a pair of Seychelles on a discount, at just $10! I have some qualms with the process for consignors (see my review of the Durham locale); but I do appreciate there's no appointment required. And the clothes seem to sell well. It's great that CV now has a consignment store among its many boutiques.. should help keep a little extra money in this woman's wallet! read more

First consignment experience gets two thumbs down. I went into the store today to sell two formal dresses and a pair of shoes after calling earlier this week and the associate on the phone told me to bring them in and I didn't need an appt. I get there and the manger on 4/20/16 who I must say is extremely rude and unwelcoming( seemed to have an attitude) states that they aren't excepting right now--note I drove from brier creek (waste of gas). There was no apology for the inaccurate information that was provided to me. The sales associates though I must say were very nice and apologetic. The only good things about this store are the sales associates. Will not return. read more

I'm the kind of gal who LOVES the thrill of the hunt (garage sales, thrift stores, antique stores, tjmaxx, flash sales- all YES PLEASE!!), so I had a suspicion Fifi's would be right up my alley. I was right- I'm a fan & my two experiences shopping here have been satisfactory. They offer a wide selection of casual to mildly dressy apparel and accessories. There's no limit on how much you can bring to the dressing room, which is helpful for me. I'm pretty sure I tried on a third of the store! I haven't brought items in, so i can't comment on that. I was satisfied with the customer service. I wasn't asked if I needed anything, but personally I'd rather be left to my own devices and initiate communication if I need anything, so it was all good in my book! The personnel were a bit chatty amongst themselves but they were getting their jobs done- completed my transaction and were working moving/organizing clothes. This isn't a high end boutique & I don't expect to receive the bells and whistles of costumer service. The only thing holding me back from giving Fifi's 5 stars is the price. While still affordable, I think the prices could be a weeeee bit lower. However, they do put a large discount on items that have been in the store for a while, which I find quite exciting (items before X date). All items have a date of entry on the tag, to help you determine if the discount applies or not. Easy and fun! I left this place on both occasions as happy as can be & plan to return frequently (never know what you'll find)!! read more

This place is pretty much a scam in my opinion. I get the idea of consigning clothes, but when you sign a "contract" and they don't keep up their end of the contract I think of that as fraud, or really bad management. I brought in some designer items over 2 months ago and they said they would update you on the 15th of every month to let you know if your stuff sold. Have I ever heard from them? NEVER. I have no idea what happened with my stuff. I think I should have the right to get my items back if they failed to keep up their end of the agreement. If I cannot get an answer out of them, I will be reporting them to the better business bureau. read more

Great selection, but TERRIBLE customer service. I walked in on this Thursday, my hair wet from the rain and face washed out from the cold, (admittedly not at my best), to an even colder atmosphere. What the three gossipy salespeople didn't know was that I had a bank account full of money that I was ready to spend on some labels. They were so shallow they didn't even acknowledge me at all! A simple "let me know if you would like to see anything in that case" (that you seem to be inspecting) would've gone a long way. Isn't that what they teach you on day one of your cashier training? Great selection with terrible service. This shop can take their Mean Girls attitude back to high school and I will take my money elsewhere. read more

I wish I could say I had a great experience, but I can NOT. Referred by a trusted friend, I had a beautiful cocktail dress and pair of shoes that had only been worn one time. The shoes had never been worn. After walking in and standing there 15 minutes and listening to two girls talk about their weekend, someone finally acknowledge i was standing there. She barely eyeballed what i had, made no comments, shoved paperwork in my face to sign and then said it will take 6-8 weeks, we are really far behind. Check on the website for your credit. Not a good business model. When your business is not appreciative of your consumers, it needs to be adjusted. I hope the owner reads this review and makes significant changes, immediately. Fifi's needs to realize that your consumers need to be appreciated and expect excellent customer service. read more

I visited FIFI's, as I am a compulsive shopper and it is close to my place of business. Let me just say, I can tell a REPLICA when I see one. I asked to see a vintage Louis Vuitton Cigarette pouch. I knew it was fake, however; the associate look me dead in my eyes and tell me it's authentic. Ummmmmm, no, it isn't I protest. She says again it is. I share with her that an Authentic LV "anything" will not read, "made in the USA." smh!!!! The store is cute and clean though. read more

Their Facebook page says they accept consignments without an appointment so I loaded up my car and headed to Fifi's. I grab an armload of clothes and sashay in the front door, only to be told that they aren't accepting any consignments this week. No apology given but what I did get was a whole lot of attitude. It's been a *very* long time since I've experienced such poor customer service. Today my 13 year old daughter visited this store as we often do. Unfortunately after today we will never shop there again! As my daughter looked at jeans I browsed the purses...and noticed a girl watching my daughter very closely. Based on her attire I didn't realize that she worked there. At first I paid it no mind. A few moments later another customer came in. The clerk greeted her with a welcome to Fifi's! She did NOT greet us when we walked in. A few minutes after that the clerk asked the new customer was there anything she could help her find. Again...she did not address us asking could she help when I actually did have a question! I waited a few more moments and then ask was there a manager on duty? The clerk told me no. I said ok thank you I will call tomorrow and turned to walk away. Only then did the clerk ask was there anything she could help me with. I politely told her no...not now. I have purchased several items from Fifi's in the past for my daughter and myself. But after today Fifi's has lost a customer! read more

I have never found any clothes in here that I bought but I did buy a couple of purses. I have consigned items and they make it really easy and I like how quick they are and that you don't have to have an appointment. Nice store and friendly staff. Good prices. read more

Fifi's had a great selection of name brands. I enjoyed the setup of the store and it is very organized. The fitting rooms were a good size and you have plenty of room to move. The part time associate offered to start me a fitting room but the manager was not very friendly. read more

The space was nice, clean, and neat. There were a lot of things there that my girlfriend and I liked and got, including two Banana Republic shirts that fit my girlfriend perfectly (she's a bit of a button shirt fanatic) for $14 each. She's a small girl, so it's hard to get something that fits her really, really well. My girlfriend is also not one to get used clothing items readily. She's a bit hesitant about cleanliness and hygiene, and the clean presentation at Fifi's was enough to convince her to rethink her position and get a few shirts. It's definitely a place that I would go back to and one of the better places around the area for the clothes that we're looking for. read more

Took some items in 10 weeks ago and they are still not on the floor. By the time they make it to the floor, the season will be gone! Unacceptable they keep your items this long. Sales must be lagging if they can't turn inventory faster than this. Will find another consignment store next time. read more

DO NOT consign items here. They have ridiculous policies and you cannot get your un-purchased items back at the end. They are very hard to work with and refuse to mail checks; you have to go back into the store to get them. They also refused to write me a check for the amount they owed me since it was under $25 until I made a stink, and then they told me I could get that money by closing my account, which they would not do over the phone... resulting in me having to make two separate trips in there to get my money. Not worth the hassle. read more

"Methinks Not!" DO NOT CONSIGN HERE. What a nightmare! Sure, its ok to shop there once in awhile, don't take your cool stuff in there though! YIKES. Ok, lets take this from the top: let me state, that I myself recently worked in the Macy's Women's Dept at Triangle Town C, so I am fully aware of how consignment, returns, coupons, website notices, automatic payments, and more are accomplished with finesse, including validating receipts, and "tell tale signs" of LYING. I am also very aware of the retail value of my garments, what is in fashion and what is vintage. My take on this place Fifi's was that it is poorly run, disorganized and slightly dishonest. They compensate by blaming the consignor at every point. I would sum up my experience here as "tragic". (Like, more tragic than that movie with 'rebel without a cause' heart throb actor James Dean, "East of Eden", which made me cry like a 7th grader. TRAGIC. ) I deeply regret the experience, wish I had never crossed the thresh hold. So, the way it is done is that various "trainees" go through your stuff and then the manager has to OK their choices. When I went in, the trainees chose the "vintage" stuff and tended to not pick up on the high fashion at all. They don't recognize the labels. They don't recognize the cut. Its just not their thing. They show up wearing earrings from Walmart. Then the manager wont let them put the vintage stuff on the floor, so you end up in a situation where either you can go back and get it (if you are lucky) or what happened to me, which is where they gave it away to "charity" WITHOUT BOTHERING TO NOTIFY ME, BY EITHER PHONE OR EMAIL FIRST. And, the "vintage" stuff in question was NOT junk ~ it was mostly leather and suede jackets, that I would like to have got BACK, if they were not going to be displayed or sold. I got a total of 35$ out of the experience and probably LOST SEVERAL HUNDRED in the process. A number of lies were told to me, at each stage, by both the trainees and the manager, who was notably prim and fairly rude (on a Macy's scale of rude, which is saying something, all things considered). If you want to feel like you are the crud scraped off of a farm hand's shoe, then by all means, but: I am not a glutton for such punishment. I will never consign there again and WILL NEVER SHOP THERE OR RECOMMEND DOING SO, EITHER. This is an ameture hour scam operation that doesn't even have the redeeming characteristics of ordinary human decency. And, their stuff is not that much different than other thrift shops, even though they like to pretend they are somehow "the cream". Um, no. read more

I have been shopping here for a few years and have been pleased with my purchases. I think the prices are decent and the selection is good. My one complaint would be that a number of the ladies who are employees there are very rude. I've had a hanger yanked from my hand, and a girl yell at my daughter for picking up a pair of shoes. The girl said, "Don't touch that your hands might be sticky and you could ruin it!" These are not the only unhappy dealings I've had with their employees. I hope that the owner has a discussion about customer service and kindness. I like shopping here but I'll have to find another place if my dealings here continue to be unpleasant. read more
