P Y/DM CM. Hidden gem of a place. Started out with low expectation but the further in you get into the basement store the more surprised you are to find all types of cute & nifty vintage knickknacks tchotchkes. Prices range from reasonable to out of your mind. Cross between arts and crafts store in the front to vintage clothing then to vintage stuff in back. If you're looking for that playboy Magazine they have it here as well as assortment of vintage button pins.

I absolutely love TrunkShow! I found the shop through TikTok a couple years ago. I go at least every month since there's always something new. Most of the time I'm always walking out with something. There's lots of fun, miscellaneous objects to look at! There's lots of home decor, furniture, art, a room full of clothes, and plenty of vinyls to look at. Most of the prices are fair and sometimes can be negotiated. The people who work here are fabulous! The one older lady is so kind. I feel bad since I forgot her name but I've spoken to her a few times about items I've found outside of the shop! They had a super cool lamp that they were selling and the price was reasonable, but I personally couldn't invest in it at the time. I ended up finding the same lamp on Facebook for only $20 but it was very tarnished compared to the other one that was perfect. Next time I went to TrunkShow I showed her a photo and told her I found one and asked abt the tarnish and she gave me advice and even gave me a can of bar keepers friend! This place is amazing and it's always a fun place to visit!

My fiancé went into this store to look around for the 1st time. It was a cold day so I stayed in…read morethe car. When he returned he said, "It's REALLY good you didn't come with me into the store!" I asked what happened. He told me an unleashed aggressive dog was standing directly inside the entrance and loudly snarled and growled at him as he tried to enter the store. The female owner of the dog&store told him the dog was a "rescue" and that it didn't take a liking to men. I have documented allergies to dogs and also fear them for their unpredictable nature as what happened when he casually walked into the store. It's a shame because he probably would have bought me something warm to wear if the dog had not been there growling at him. Also, I only buy second hand from smoke&pet free homes/stores. *Message to management: I've never owned a clothing store, but I've worked at one. It's very important for customers to feel safe and welcomed when trying on clothes and window shopping. In what world is it considered civilized to have an unleashed, untrained and aggressive dog positioned at the head of the store? You are actively discriminating against men shopping at your store by bringing this dog to work. Men like to surprise their girlfriend or wife or mother with something nice to wear from time to time. If you don't have liability insurance for potential dog bites when a man enters your store it might be time to get some. Or, better yet, just install a modern security system and leave your aggressive dog at home or bring it to a shelter. You will be doing the city of Raleigh and it's citizens a favor.

Nice place with high end labels. Found some cute items, prices are higher. Not the easiest place to…read moreshop due to lack of parking or at least that how it seemed for being people not from the area. Very organized, nice staff. A good assortment of items. There is a dressing room, as well.

I really like their clothes because they are modern and affordable however well-made. When I walked into the store yesterday they had free apple cider that you can sip on while walking around and shopping. Besides clothing they also have jewelry and candles and cards and little knickknacks. There is a kids section with kids toys and books about how to be inclusive. I love their vibe and it's a very nice store which also has Instagram stories weekly so you can kind of see what they have in stock before you go there. It is a small business so it's nice to shop small.
