This is a funny kind of place, it' located hidden in the back of a church. But the items they were selling seemed to be pretty good quality. They also had a large section of formal wear. Great Thrift Store. Hidden Gem you have to know where it is or you will miss it. This is one of my favorite places to shop. Some reviewers on here are making the ludicrous claim that prices are outrageous, Someone even included a picture of a Columbia Winter Coat that was marked at 49.99. Well last time I checked even a cheap Columbia jacket is $80+, so that sounds like a decent deal to me. I have also read people talking about prices by saying they get everything donated, so why are the prices so high. Yes, the majority of thing are donated at thrift stores, however they still have to pay their Staff, pay for supplies, pay for electricity, heat, water, etc. and still have enough money to donate to their partners within the community. Most of the same things we all pay for and have noticed are getting more expensive every day. Of course their prices will go up. Is your electric bill the same as it was 3, 4, 5 years ago, is your water bill the same, do you not expect them to give their employees cost of living raises which in turn means they need to accumulate more money. Yes, it is a thrift store and things should be cheaper in thrift stores, but you cant expect them to give items away for nothing. I come here every week and I have only found 2 to 3 things I would consider overpriced most of the nicer things are less than half of regular retail. I sympathize that everyone wants things to be cheaper everywhere not just here, but beating down a wonderful place that does a lot of good in our community because they aren't giving you a $70 pair of jeans for $3 is absurd. The staff and members of this organization/church seem to be homophobic. I walked into their shop, hand in hand, with my partner and we got a lot of stares and dirty looks. Especially from the cashiers who didn't even greet us when we walked in. Not only that, this store is extremely overpriced and I hope that they're using that money to put back into the community through ministry and not making a business of out the word of god. Mission Thrift is a well organized store with great deals and friendly staff. Wednesday is senior discount day!

Clean, spacious and organized. Everything from furnishings to jewelry to clothing to appliances to books to kids stuff. If you are looking a deal, go. If you have something you no longer use, wear or like, and it still works, is in good shape and would be appreciated by someone else, donate it. If you have a few hours to spare, volunteer. This store is a great outlet for all of the above. 100% volunteers, and 100% of proceeds support other charities or missions. What they can't take in they give away to others. I couldn't believe it when I walked into this hidden gem! I've been a long time thrift store shopper, so I've had my fair share of experiences. I was immediately impressed with how clean the store is, so organized (so it's easy to find what you're looking for)and you can tell they carefully select items to ensure customers get excellent quality for a fraction of the retail price! I'm new to thrifting, but I'm a lover of shopping and I must say this place is great! When I called to get directions, someone answered very quickly and politely helped me find the right location. When I walked into the actual thrift store I was blown away by neat it was! It's a large space, but everything is in place! I started fumbling thought the racks thinking things were probably out of order, but NO... Every row was sized accurately!! There was such a great selection of dress pants!!! And I love how everything had set prices for particular articles!! The staff was so friendly and helpful! We laughed and talked as I undressed manikins! I found great dresses from Loft, JCrew and even snagged a brand new gold watch!!! I love this place!!! And if you go Friday 5/115 the entire store will be 50% off!!! Holy Thrift Store! Seriously... it's run out of a church! And it's ginormous people! This one is not for the faint of heart... if you love a deal (and I know you do), you'll want to check out Crossroads Fellowship new thrift store in N. Raleigh (just off Atlantic). After receiving an email from my church that they had launched their thrift store (now open every Saturday 8-4pm) and were looking for volunteers to help sort, etc, I went after work to assist and see what all the hubbub was about. I was AMAZED! This is quite the operation. The store is clean and extremely well-organized (clothes by size, type, season, etc). If you are looking for children's clothing and/or toys, they have a fantastic selection. They look over everything carefully and if the clothes have any holes, stains (at all) or pills/wear, they donate them to a charity or send them abroad. Everything they have on their shelves is in like new condition and it's selling for a bargain. Many items still have their tags on them! They also have in-season items. I saw two racks of Halloween costumes ...just in time. So, if you are looking for winter clothes, they will stock that. The summer clothes will be set aside generally. They also have some furniture, electronics, housewares, etc. Crossroads has a congregation of over 3k, so they get pallet loads of new merchandise weekly. You'll find a great selection. And, of course, all the money goes towards Missions in the US and abroad. read more

This store is extremely affordable and they have a great furniture section. Their ladies' clothing section seemed pretty full, too. I ended up buying an office chair, 6 blouses, and a carry-on with wheels for $26 (I used the $8 off $25 coupon on here). The staff was very nice and one member brought the chair out to my car and helped load it. read more

WONDERFUL for Children's clothes which are $1.00/piece. Sometimes they mark them down to $0.50/each. They truly are out to help those in need. A warehouse-style thrift store that isn't open all that often during the week. Located in the back of the mega-church Crossroads Fellowship warehouse, the selection isn't too bad, but the prices are higher than necessary. I doubt we'll be back. read more

It is huge and super cheap. The day we were there, all women's tops (not including sweaters) were 50% off. Considering they are $3 to begin with, this was awesome. Wish I lived closer to this place because I would definitely be back. Only open on Saturdays until 4 p.m. read more

I found this thrift store about a year ago and I have been back several times. I visit at least 4 to 5 times a month. I always find awesome deals when I visit. Most of the the staff are extremely friendly except one male employee. The items are pretty organized. There clothes and housewares, linens, appliances items are pretty cheap. Their furniture sometimes can be either to high or reasonably priced. Mission thrift also has weakly deals . For example, on Wednesday they'll have 50% percent off of housewares or 50% off all women's sweaters. The special daily deal changes each week. read more
