The merchandise seems heavily pre-screened. They have a larger portion in the rear of the store, and you can hear people working back there, but the store isn't restocked very often. It is very tough to find treasure here, and there is a lot of tired inventory that just sits for weeks/months/years. They have a glass case with "premium items", but the prices are very aspirational. It allegedly does help support a good cause, and I hate to give it less than a very positive review, but it just irks me when these places pre-screen everything and you end up sifting through the same junk. read more

I will start by saying that I have not been in the store to look for things to buy, but stop in whenever I have anything to donate to this wonderful cause. Whenever I have dropped things off the workers are always helpful in unloading the car and carrying the items inside. The monies made go to Animal Rescue and spaying and neutering cats and dogs. This to me is a great cause and I drive past other places I could donate the items to as I know the money raised is going to help animals. read more

I luv this gem of a thrift store. One of my best buys was a silver necklace and today I found another silver piece. I've received rave compliments on these items. The cuff was only $1.50 it shines so well perfect bracelet for daily wear or give an evening ensemble a spark of silver that catches the light showing the beautiful etching of the globe that reads Love Peace Love the World with a peace symbol. Located in a strip mall, I was able to find plenty of shirts that I liked. It is a smaller location - definitely more women's clothing. There are also books and housewares. You are able to try on clothes here. There is also a bathroom. There is Halloween stuff out now too. read more

My sister was a witness to complete and utter mistreatment of an elderly shopper and his daughter by staff. Then the daughter reports that the staff made her get on her hands and knees and clean the bathroom floor while the staff member sprayed cleaner from above her. I visited this store last week. They recently moved into a new location on Spring Forest Rd. near Departure Dr. This is my first experience with this thrift shop and I was very impressed. The merchandise was displayed well. The clothes were very nicely organized by size, type, and gender. This is a pleasant surprise. Many thrift stores I've been in have clothes of all types packed on racks or they will have them sorted by color rather than size. This makes it difficult to find what you want in a timely manner. At this shop I was able to locate the sizes I needed quickly. I found several items for myself and my kids. I also loved the way they had the books displayed. They have an area in the rear of the store set up with bookcases filled with books and magazines. They have the furniture for sale back there as well. It does double duty as seating for the reading area. It's quite cozy. It looks like a library or bookstore. My daughter relaxed and read a book while I browsed. The clerk that checked me out was friendly and helpful. I was very pleased with my experience and I plan to return again in the future. read more

I was driving by down the road on my way to Wally World and I saw thee sign so I made that hard right into the parking lot to see what they had to offer. After being at the fabric store across the street and discovering that fabric is really expensive. My goal was to find something for the Yelp Toga party. The place is small, but they do have a variety of items to offer. Way in the back corner are the items such as bed sheets, drapes, etc. I found this nice gold 4x8 gold curtain for only $3 that I decided to wear as my toga. It didn't look half bad. The best part about it was I found a use for it after I moved into my new place, so it had a double use to it. read more

Writing review to warn buyers of my latest experience buying two items that were taped up and said "new" on the outside, but were actually used and broken. I appreciate no return policy but negligence like this should be an exception. When I called they said they couldn't refund for this. My warning is not to trust items marked new without testing them or at least opening the boxes. read more

This is my go-to thrift store. They have the best deals and selections of clothing. Sometimes they run a little low towards the end of the month, but that is understandable as they are on the small side. Every last Sunday of the month EVERYTHING is half off!!! Need I say more? They had an influx of furniture while I was there this time. I like the fact that it's not always the same stale items but they update frequently. Employers are friendly and easy, and dressing rooms meet the general thrift store standard/expectation. I really enjoy their jewelry case and shoe selections, which is something not all thrift stores do well. I never used to buy shoes from thrift stores, but I bought my first pair from here and I like them! I think the key elements of unique/fashionable clothing with a good balance of vintage and modern along with the cleanliness of the store is definitely a reason to keep shopping here. I haven't spent much time in the household area but clothing, accessories, and furniture always have something that catches my eye. Possibly one of the best magazine sections I have ever seen in a thrift store. every magazine was organized and group based on what it was. They were also super cheap compared to other places. I like the store, what they do & it looks more organized than the first time I visited. I just wish they'd be a tiny bit more selective on donations they accept. Seems like all thrift stores in the area accept whatever people want to discard and there's no good selection when it comes to furniture (or the decent stuff is snatched up before I can get there maybe). I was an avid shopper here for years & loved that they supported the animals. It has gone down hill in my opinion. Items are over priced, public restroom is no more, & the incident that happened with an elderly man is just outrageous. Last time I went in, it looked as if someone hit into the side of the building. There was debris to the right side of the store & only caution tape to section it off. I'm not sure why the store was still open with this going on. I now shop and donate to other thrift stores in the area. read more

ReTails Thrift store is a fabulous little shop where treasures abound. The rotating inventory allows for frequent scavenging. From a nice selection of clothing to books, furniture, jewelry and more, we always find a little something to take home. i've been donating here for over ten years, driving far out of my way to support this cause, but today i came to donate literally a car full of stuff (brand new shoes, linens, tool equipment, books, etc, and was told that they stopped taking donations in the back at five so i'd have to come to the front. not only didn't i get help unloading, i couldnt even get someone to hold the door open for me. there were employees literally standing there watching me struggle to get ten loads into the place. and THEN i was told i'd have to wait in line to get a receipt. seriously??? that's the last donation i make here read more

This is a fun little thrift store. It's bigger than the old location, but not quite as big as your Salvation Armys or Good Wills. They have a monthly calendar with special deals and discounts. I always go the last Sunday of the month when the entire store is half off. Be sure to get there early on those days, as there can be a line around the building before it even opens. They take credit which is convenient. And all the proceeds go to a great cause and you can't beat that. read more

We have been donating and shopping there for years, at the old location and at the new location on Spring Forest Road near Departure Rd. We love their cause. The store is rather large, always clean and well-organized. Employees and volunteers are always nice and friendly. There is a large selection of books and magazines. There are good-quality clothes for the entire family, jewelry, decorations, electronics and much, much more. There are also frequent sales and plenty of free parking. Don't know how to do their job. I found a printer that I wanted and saw a sign outside for 50% any electronics purchase. I walked up to the counter before purchasing the printer and asked if I could use the voucher with the printer. She said yes. So I purchased the voucher for $5. When I went back to the counter she told me I couldn't use both offers AFTER marking the voucher as used. So now I spent and extra $5 for no reason read more

Absolutely LOVE this store! Well-organized, clean and reasonable prices. I purchased a high stool for $10 and it was in perfect condition. Jewelry is on the high $ side, but only if you are in the business of re-selling thrift items. But they are nice pieces. Lots of books, lamps and picture frames in great condition. This was an extremely small thrift shop that was surprisingly well organized. I liked the clean environment and the people there. It's a very nicely done shop. However, I didn't find anything I particularly wanted but I managed to pick up the game of Life for 4 dollars, and it wasn't missing any pieces! What a steal! :) I might visit again, I might not. Great place to donate & buy second hand (& new ) items. Buying there is a good way to help animals as they pay to spay & neuter animals that would otherwise increase the homeless animal plight. I shopped in Retails Thrift and witnessed two white female staff members refuse to allow an elderly black man to use the restroom when he was clearly experiencing an emergency. Two other customers had to plead with the staff members and they were simply told multiple times that the store does not have a public restroom. I understand that store policy, and despite the reasons for it, when a store employee sees someone with a emergency need that they can help with, such as allowing the use of a store restroom, they should do it. It is simple kindness and respect, they way all humans should be treated. I emailed AnimalKind and David Martinez, the operations manager, responded with a message showing more concern that I will continue to donate and shop, than for the disrespect toward the man yesterday. He did not acknowledge that visitors to the store should be treated better. I can no longer support this thrift store or charity. read more
