A week before Christmas and there are only two cashiers open. Most of the packaging/items are damaged/open. Only here would you see a life sized, African American leopard print wearing Santa Claus statue. This place is fabulously ghetto. You can get so many things here for a good deal, you just have to wade through the mess. I got a salad spinner for under $20 for the White Elephant at work. I'm not a picky shopper so I thought I'd give this a try when looking for some blouses but to my disappointment I was not happy with anything about this store. It's extremely cluttered Nothing in Order Never saw one customer service person on the floor It's so unwatched I was getting annoyed by this couple who kept playing hide & seek and they where easily in their 20"s not to say fun play is fun but they where RUNNING in the store. A couple of weeks ago my husband and I went to Burlington Coat factory. We purchased over $200 dollars of misc items. We went back yesterday to check out Suit Jacket sales. We will never go back. My husband was followed down isles by 2 men. I was not aware this was going on as I was in the Women's area. I finally head toward my husband in the men's shoe aisle and I said " Hey Babe! Did u find anything?" He turned around with ( a Man very close to him in shoe aisle took his jacket we bought at the same location ( a couple weeks ago ) he had on "off " ( we had paid for at that store a couple weeks ago )and "threw" it to the ground and Suit we was going to buy and say ( Infact We won't be buying anything from this store). I keep breaking glasses in my kitchen. All the expensive department store glass sets too. I'm just upset with myself. So I decided to go offprice shopping for some drinking glasses. Burlington Coat Factory has a pretty good kitchen (dishes, pantry pots, utensils) section. It was in complete disarray, but if you look... there are some great deals. The Valentine's display was nice. The lingerie section was filled with alluring and sexy finds. What am I doing to here on a Friday night all alone... Do I really want to get drinking glasses? No! I like the store because it's big, it has a lot of selections, and it has two floors. But what I didn't like was that the store is very unorganized. Most of the packages are open. When I checked out, there were no bags. They were telling us to buy the $1 bags! if we were interested for a bag. Other than that, the store is great. I came to shop at this Burlington in Burbank. The selection and quality at this store is awful. I came looking for some specific items. The lighting cable and charging table both items defective and cheap. I exchanged it and got another one got home and it work for 2 days and stopped working. I feel like the electronics Burlington sells is cheap. I understand 10.99 12.99 sounds like a good deal but the product is cheap and only lasts a short time. read more

Wow I literally waited in line on the first floor less than 1 minute just before 3 pm on a Thursday. I'm so used to waiting in line at the Arcadia store for up to 30 minutes!! Never again!! This store had 3 cashiers on the 1st floor and 2 on the 2nd floor. 5 cashiers and it wasn't even peak shopping hours!!! Unheard of at the Arcadia location. Their selection of stationary items wasn't great, I didn't find what I needed (large gold & rose gold paperclips) but found a cute pair of earrings. I usually spend a lot so I feel it reflects their lack of what I wanted. Also I have to say the bathroom was filthy. They really should maintain a cleaning log, it was kind of a turn off, my reason for 3 stars. read more

Checked out this place because I kept seeing the Burlington commercials where the two ladies are talking... LADY #1 - I bought this at Burlington Coat Factory LADY #2 - I bought the same coat...one for my husband...the twins..and the baby for the same amount of $$. So I figured they must have some good prices. I walked in and it reminded me of a slightly upper scale ROSS: DRESS FOR LESS. The Burlington I used to know was just strictly a COAT factory w/ high end leather coats and such. I had no idea that it turned into what it is now! They have a home section...a baby section (w/ car seats and strollers)......luggage area...etc. I did find a few coats that I liked and the prices low. I did walk out not buying anything ...I just couldn't buy a pleather jacket...not matter how cheap it was. read more

It's taken awhile but i feel if i don't let someone know then it'll happen to them. I used to love coming to this store, but that all changed. I put something away on lay away to get but realized i didn't need one of the items. As i went to ask if I can return that item, i was told no. When I asked why, they told me that I was told about their return policy in regards to lay away merchandise at the time i put it on lay away. When i first put it on lay away I wasn't told of the return policy. So as i politely asked the cashier, Amy which by the way, she was very helpful to me throughout this whole fiasco, if i can speak to a manager, she didn't hesitate to get someone. As soon as the manager showed, i believe her name was Nancy, I told her the situation and all she said was no i cannot do anything about it. I asked her for an exception because of what happened, and in the middle of my explanation she still said directly, no. I wasn't making a big deal about it all but for a manager to just be rude and say no we're not going to help you because you didn't listen is pretty ridiculous. Store looked great, employees are very helpful, management however, that lady is the reason why she lost my business with this store or company forever. read more

Don't shop at Sears guys, just go here instead. You can get a lot of stuff here for a pretty good deal. I've had zero major problems with the employees here, the stuff seems to pretty much be in order. Returns are zero hassle. :) One thing I do wish the employees here would pay attention to is that people do steal small items like jewelry here, and it sucks for the people who want to buy a complete set not be able to get everything for the whole deal. Also, a shout out to that girl with long black hair who works in the fitting room who diligently puts back everything in place! You rock! read more

I'd never been in a Burlington and neither had Gori S. The prices were good and they had a huge variety of sunglasses; I got a cute pair for $7. The shoe selection included some trendy stuff, however, the shoes aren't organized by size, so I didn't want to even begin looking. Didn't take more than a quick look around the bottom floor, but I have a feeling there's some good stuff in there if you're willing to hunt. read more

The womens restrooms are disgusting. I understand customers should clean up after themselves but come on... It's awful. I never see any janitors walking around this store nor have I ever seen them clean up the restrooms. My past visits here at Burlington have been the same. I've encountered rude employees who don't greet me or ask if I need any assistance. They take their sweet time at the registers and most of the time there's only ONE register open. The priced here are a lot lower , at least for children's clothes, than I would expect to pay at a mall location. I was able to buy two very nice dresses for my daughter, each for 11.99 and tax, +10 pairs of socks for her for another 7.00. In Burbank, California? At a mall? With excellent customer service? Can't shop and give value to a family store when bathrooms are overflowing with trash in each stall and stains floors.

I can't give it a negative rating..well because it won't let me (sigh) For starters walking into the second level everything was disorganized in the baby section, stuff on the floors, not a cart in sight, teenagers running through the store. I have to say for kids clothes prices were ok, I did pick up a baby organizer for a fair price - however beware of things like bottles, pacifiers etc. They are cheaper (sometimes) because they are selling outdated stock - who uses a latex pacifier anymore? I would rate this place due to it's staff, store cleanliness (lack there of) below a Ross in a decent neighborhood. We originally went to see if they had a stroller in stock - but it was pointless they have very little actually in store and I would never go to this particular one again as it was pretty ridiculously out of order. I'm convinced the two awesome reviews of this place must be made by employees because there is no way anyone else would give this place more than 2 stars! read more

Wow I usually come here in such great spirits to find good deals. But today my kids 3 and 5 missed their dad from being at work all day so they were being silly and laughing and a worker comes to the shoe department where I was looking for shoes and she starts scolding Them. My husband was slightly jogging where there was no one around and she said they weren't acting appropriately. Like relax and enjoy life a little. Everyone was saying how adorable my children were and enjoying their laughs. And this lady obviously has an issue with enjoying life. I didn't even want to shop anymore and I had a lot to buy. Bad costumer service from cashier Hasmik when I went in for a return. I really dislike when the person who attends you acts like they're doing you a favor for doing their job. I would give it five stars for the people at the door who greet you as you come in and exit. Their always smiling and very pleasant. Asked 3 employees about a shopping cart and was told they'd be at the entrances. I walked to each of the entrances, two kids in tow and there were none to be found. You would think that customers would be pushing carts around, but I only saw two in the entire store! Where the heck were all the shopping carts? I will never shop at that store! Someone bought my son shoes from this place and they didn't fit so I went to return them. I was a little over 60 days and even though I had a receipt they only gave me credit for $12.00 when the shoes I returned cost $27.00. WTF! If you have a receipt you should get what you paid for. This review is for Destiny(Staff Manager) she is amazing and very helpful.. I took a kids waist life jacket a month ago along with other stuff did not get a chance to look at as I picked up a lot of stuff from the store.. weeks later when we wanted to get the pool I found that the waist life jacket is ripped which this is the 1st time ever we took it out to wear it.. Took it back to the store, i did not had the receipt on me and the only thing that I had was the credit card and date of purchase(which I was sure from the cc-transaction) .. They weren't able to find the transaction, however, she took an extra mile to help and gave the store credit.. It's not about the money, but about the service and attitude.. Um.. seriously WTF happened to this place? WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND decided that the recent changes to the store were a good idea? Gone are the perfectly displayed merchandisers and aisles... they brought in those long ugly racks instead like at Ross. This place went from looking like a nicely organized JC Penny to something even worse than Ross. The selection is also HORRIBLE now. The Big & Tall section which was previously amazing is now very disappointing. The baby clothes are horrible now also. I just don't get what they were thinking.
