I enjoy getting a drink occasionally from Agua Cabana on the second floor, and the perfect mall snack is an Açaí bowl from Bearies on the first floor. My favorite stores include - Pop Mart, Box Lunch, Sephora, Bath & Body Works, Miniso, Hot Topic, Hollister, Old Navy, Journey's & Sophi's Cosmetics. It's a smaller mall but it's local & always a solid place for a hang out. There is also many on site restaurants that I enjoy such as Yard House, LongHorn Steakhouse, California Pizza Kitchen & Red Robins. There is also an Escapology located here outside the mall which is great as an interactive experience. The workers I've encountered here are typically very friendly & the mall is kept very clean.

It's a smaller mall compared to others nearby which tends to have more stores. If I'm here it's for either one or two stores or to just walk around to see what there is available. This visit was for something simple that needed to be done. Which I knew that they had a certain store. Surprising it was pretty busy for a Monday. Mind you it was a holiday and kids are off of school. But to see this place pretty lively was amazing. Each visit, tends to alway be pretty mellow. The stores aren't quite the same as they used to be. Loads of the stores that once thrive have faded away. But something new would takes its place. Hopefully they'll last for some time. I did noticed that the food court does seem to have some interesting vendors. Plus there's a new Panini Cafe at the old Red Robbin's location. It's quite big which I was surprised to see walking in today. They have both an indoor patio as well an outdoor patio. The mall isn't what it used to be. The bigger chain stores have gone or either went out of business. Macys is still there which I'm quite surprised. Regardless, people are still going to be buying whether it be a new store or an old one.

Plenty of clearance rack. I needed some skincare so I focused on the beauty products. Lo and behold they have my moisturizer at a discounted price. Yay!!! I got me a few and some other stuff. I moved to the men's clearance section and found some joggers that are pretty good and affordable. I picked a few and went to line up for the cashier. It's not even close to 11am yet and there was a line. The good part though - 3 or 4 cash registers are open which made the line go down fast. It was a pleasant shopping experience.

Walked in yesterday around 2pm and was helped by 2 of their employees. Sorry, can't remember their names. They were not wearing a name tag. Anyway, I needed to buy a baby shower gift for one of my friend's daughters baby. I looked everywhere to buy her a toy, a dress and a playpen. She is a dear friend of mine. So couple of extra dollars wouldn't hurt my pocket. They didn't have what I was looking for and also knowing her taste, I didn't think she would have liked it either. So I got her a gift card worth of $40. Since I was there, I also wanted to buy few things for myself and the house. I saw couple of summer dresses, summer sandals, place mats(2) in mauve color, a nice scented candle, 2 coasters, 1 pair of white slippers, Mickey & Minnie stuffed animals, a cute pottery bowl that you can either plant something in it or use it for something else that is useful. Growing up in the Pittsburgh area, Macy's--along with Kaufman's and Gimbels--was a big part of our holiday shopping traditions. I love being able to walk through different departments, from fragrance to home goods, and take my time browsing. There's a warmth and familiarity to the store that feels comforting, especially during the holidays. I did notice that the in-store selection isn't as robust as it once was, and there's definitely more emphasis on ordering online. While that's convenient, it does take away some of the personal touch that made department store shopping so special. Despite that, I still love Macy's it has so much to offer and will continue to shop there. It's a classic for a reason, and I hope they keep that in-store magic going.
