I have been to Kohl's few times in the past. The one in Monrovia. First time in this location. This store is located at the corner of Nordhoff & Corbin. Walked in yesterday around 2pm and was helped by 2 of their employees. Sorry, can't remember their names. They were not wearing a name tag. Anyway, I needed to buy a baby shower gift for one of my friend's daughters baby. I looked everywhere to buy her a toy, a dress and a playpen. She is a dear friend of mine. So couple of extra dollars wouldn't hurt my pocket. They didn't have what I was looking for and also knowing her taste, I didn't think she would have liked it either. So I got her a gift card worth of $40. Since I was there, I also wanted to buy few things for myself and the house. I saw couple of summer dresses, summer sandals, place mats(2) in mauve color, a nice scented candle, 2 coasters, 1 pair of white slippers, Mickey & Minnie stuffed animals, a cute pottery bowl that you can either plant something in it or use it for something else that is useful. It was so cute that I couldn't resist. Also, got a small sanitizer to have in the car. They had great deals, sale items and didn't make or break the bank. They have you covered from everything: Home, appliances, men's, women's clothing/shoes, houseware department, to jewelry, accessories, and a whole lot more. Store is pretty big with Sephora inside. Well maintained, clean with restrooms. Big parking lot next to Target. Customer service was top notch and the ladies were very nice, professional and helpful. I don't come to this Kohl's much because it out of my way but since I was in the area and next door, I decided to come to this Kohl's to return my Amazon order. I remember the Amazon returns used to be in the middle of the store and the line would extend throughout the floor but now they push it toward the back. There was still a line because only one worker was working the Amazon return. But once they got two more works to help, the line moved by faster. The Sephora store inside Kohl's is right in the middle so you can't miss it. Kohls has a lot of products to offer and the best thing if you return an item here, you'll get a coupon to use at Kohl's for most items. read more

This Kohl's is located next to Target. I like to pop into both stores when I am at this shopping center. It is pretty big and has a great variety of items in each department. Very easy to spend a few hours browsing... The Sephora is located in the usual area across from the "Juniors" department and you can't miss it when you walk in. Kohl's has some great deals especially if you have a Kohl's CC or sign up for their rewards program. This location is off nordhoff and corbin, large parking lot with plenty of parking space. I placed an order same day and was notified within a few hours that it would be ready for pick up. Upon arriving to the store, you make your way over to the customer service area, right next to the restrooms on the first floor. I formed line and was quickly attended to; the pickup process went smooth for me. This store was clean, spacious and sales were also happening during the time that I visited. Kohls usually has great sales and really good items to purchase. go with time to spend and browse around calmly to find hidden gems. It's a good size store, lots to offer and the people working here are really friendly. The lines for checkout move quickly too. Great clearance items and easy to find what you are looking for too. Nice selection of clothes and accessories I like to get towels from here. And some kitchen accessories.

Placed an order on 11/28/25 with an estimated delivery date no later than 12/5/25. A UPS shipping label was created the same day; however, the package was not picked up until 12/3/25. The estimated delivery date is now 12/11/25. I contacted customer service about the unacceptable delay and got the brush off. No offer of a discount - no offer to intercept the package or upgrade the delivery speed. They have lost a customer over a few dollars, and cost themselves more in shipping and return fees. "Retail returns are projected to cost retailers approximately $849.9 billion in 2025." When customer service acts like this, that's no surprise! It's no surprise that Kohl's is being beaten so badly by Amazon and Walmart. read more

Horrible customer service for a simple question. Bad attitude and behavior when answering and greeting people. Holidays can be stressful but getting an attitude for asking a question on whether item is in stock is a bad way to treat customers. Get better service at a fast food joint. read more

The layout of the store is nice and aisles are kept clean. However, I often find that the actual racks are messy, some with huge empty swaths. Don't even bother checking out the small toy section. Nothing is in it's place and it's usually barren. Employees are very friendly and do their best to be as helpful as possible. However, if they're busy (think holiday season) good luck finding someone & if you do, that they will have the bandwidth to help you out. I don't fault them for that. I know they're doing their best. Just want to know that depending on when you are there, you might be on your own when it comes to finding your items. But then comes the biggest issue that seems to hit every Kohl's I've ever been to. Checkout. Lines here are always long. And, once again, I know employees are doing their best, but often times it moves slowly. You can basically count on not being able to do a quick in and out trip here. This location is one of the better Kohl's I go to. But it still has a lot of the issues other locations have. I really hope somehow they're able to fix them to make this location great. I think more staff would be a huge help, but I know profit margins are slim these days so I just don't hold my breath for that happening. read more

They don't honor online prices, they'll make you jump through hoops just to get the prices that are listed online or via sales commercials. You can find the same quality graphic T-shirts at five below for $10 less or $20 less than what they're selling here. kohl's is not a cheap inexpensive place to shop for clothing as they advertise themselves to be. read more

I'm giving this specific location a five star solely because of Emma from the Sephora section, angel of an employee! I told her I was not sure if I was going to buy anything, just looking for help for the best foundation that could match my skin tone and type best, but because of her I am going to be a costumer at this sephora. She was genuinely kind and it was obvious she loves helping people! I was treated like a friend she's helping and not an employee trying to be nice for the sake of their job. She was able to find the perfect foundation for me instantly just off my description of my experience with foundations. She knew my own skin better than me as a new encounter LOL, I always got tones too many shades too light to too dark. She even showed me alternatives for the sake of budget, different benefits, and comparison. Another big problem I had previously was all brands of foundation made it feel as if it was suffocating my skin, i needed something breathable. She showed me Lady Gaga's line, Haus Labs, and oh my goodness I never even thought or imagined I could get a foundation that feels like I'm not wearing it, specifically on my nose. I let her know i'm on a budget so I am careful with what I buy and she gave me a sample to take home to make sure I like it long term as well. Her service is worth more than the $50 Foundation alone (not complaining, great price for quality). Other sephoras I have been to, their employees were sort of robotic. Emma was very genuine...she knew her work, business, and humanity :) So Yes, I am going to become a customer from this sephora just so I could support this amazing staff ! I called to get order status when it was past due, and was told they did not have status and I should call back. I then called 3 more times over a 7 day period. On the final call I was told the order had been cancelled days before. They could not tell me why nor would they send me an email confirmation that the order was canceled and they would not connect me to a supervisor. Kohl's Northridge is where the party is... At least for your department store needs.... I came in to shop not remembering how great the deals can be here. I was greeted instantly, sanitized up and rather than grab a cart, which was offered... I supermarket swept and carried a lot of items by hand... Thank you arm day fitness at home lol The layout is easy to follow and everything is well spaced out... Although the isles are a bit narrow for people to get past another customer or employee and it's usually easier to go around in order to navigate your Kohl's experience. They have Guest/Customer Service in the back end of the store by shoes... Bedding and home decor just left of that around the Amazon hub. There's definitely something for everyone at Kohl's especially during these seasonal times of year when stocking stuffers and miscellaneous trinkets, toys and fun seem to be on display in abundance. The line for Amazon related drop offs was mini when I came in, but grew to "wambo" when I walked around it a second time back to check out and I'm sure is likely to continue to be foot traffic heavy given the holidays rapidly approaching like a blink of a month in 2020. I don't know how I spaced on Kohl's cash and all the good deals offered here... I got brand new pillows for my bed... original intended for one but managed three under my arms, with a marked down Vanilla Chia candle in hand, and shoes on sale in the other... Do you want to build a snowman... I think I just did... Definitely stopping in again soon... You know because of my Kohl's cash... But also because this is a great store. The check out set up is almost perfect with plenty of registers open and number paging allowing customers to hear when the next available sales person is open. My sales person was super kind. She was helpful and patient (why isn't her name on my receipt to give here praise, retail workers are definitely under valued). I had to resign up for Kohl's Rewards, etc because I haven't been to Kohl's in over a year.... I interacted with at least three or more Kohl's crew members during my visit and had zero bad customer service. Maybe one guy in men's who was just hyper focused, but I didn't require any assistance there.... I don't know what happens at the Amazon drop off area, but it sounds like it may be where some of the major issues are and the party zone is party low. Kohl's Northridge has plenty of parking in front, but a massive amount on the side of this location... Which I recommend for easier navigation in this pretty cool shopping center plaza. read more

This review is for on line shopping. Like the store, it's a hot mess. Takes FOREVER for your items to be delivered to your home. You are able to track it once it's shipped, but it takes so long. At least 14-21 days. The last THREE times, my order was either wrong, missing items, or damaged. Not worth it. read more

I never knew that there was an amazon return center in the store. This is a very big help. Both time returning an item, it was very simple. The line went really fast. There's markers on the floor for social distancing..... When you reach the counter, they scan your item. If it's in a box, they just pack it back up. Scan it, a new slip is printed and stick on the box. But if an item doesn't have a box, they have you put it in a plastic bag that they hold and they wrap it up and put the new package slip on it. Before and after each customer, the clean the counter to make sure it's sanitize. This helps as it make sure that each customer safety was priority. Also, when you return your package. Your also given a coupon slip to use inside the store. Nice, a return and a discount for shopping. read more

What I like about shopping at Kohls is that it is spacious, very clean and provides good customer service. Depending on the season, I used to come here to buy good and affordable work clothes. Kohl's has their brands, but also stocks other well known labels, which it sells for a discounted price. Then, they also carry a good variety of simple items, like shorts for example, that seem to fit better here, and becomes the one you were looking for elsewhere but could not find. They also carry home and kitchen goods. Their selections maybe limited, but it is a pleasure to walk through this store without bumping into other customers. Another plus is that they also process Amazon returns, which they execute in a seamless and courteous fashion. read more

I went back to do an Amazon return and Kohl's return. Line at the Amazon return counter with no employee available. Took some time for someone to track down someone. It gets better, I had to return a beauty product I bought on Kohl's.com. The receipt clearly said Kohl's and Kohl's has a fairly good return policy. The workers wouldn't allow me to return it saying it was a Sephora product (it wasn't) and not a Kohl's product and that the Sephora return policy isn't the same as the Kohl's policy. I said fine whatever just give me credit or exchange it for the same one in a different style. They wouldn't allow either. I just went back a few days later and was able to return it with no fuss. Horrible Return Experience - tried to do a return using my receipt, and the associate helping me (ROSA) needed to call her supervisor MICHELLE to complete the transaction, indicating it was possible to do, however needed supervisory override because I was a few weeks over the 6-month return window. I asked MICHELLE if she could honor a one time exception because I was a long time customer of Kohl's and miscalculated the day of initial purchase, and after thinking about it for a solid 10 seconds, refused. It was possible to provide an exception, however she chose not to. I asked for the corporate number, however when I called later that night, I found out I was given the number to another Kohl's department. I suspect it was an attempt to lead me astray from the accurate complaint feedback number. After considerable waiting and a few transfers, I found the right department and submitted a complaint to "Higher Management" - Kohl's Store #1373 - The Complaint submitted also tied in the Store Manager ARO for poor training and customer service responsibility. I haven't been into a kohls in a very long time but had a birthday $5 off so I decided to go look. I went early so the store was empty. There were not a lot of carts and none of the carts had a space for me to put my two year old. The store was clean which was nice but inventory was low. It felt hard trying to spend the $5 off coupon I had. The cashier was friendly and helped me use my coupon. I was between a 3 and 4 star but decided to go with 3 due to the lack of inventory on the shelves and the cart situation. read more

I had not been to Khols in years, but my Mother wanted to look for a few things as gifts. All in all, it was a decent visit. First of all the entrance is horrible with it almost blocked with Amazon people. Secondly, there was just stock everywhere and not all neat. When I explained my reasons for return, a sales associate told me that a store manager would get back to me and address my concerns. The very next day, I received a voicemail from Renee, a Kohl's manager, who politely invited me to meet her in person at the store. My meeting with Renee went very well. She's friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and attentive to my every word. I felt I was fully heard, understood, and supported by Renee, who showed me how much Kohl's appreciated my patronage. As a store manager, Renee further explained Kohl's return protocols and promised to make improvements I suggested. By way of this review, I want to thank Renee from the bottom of my heart.
