I stopped in to this location on my way to visit someone in a care facility. All I needed was some paper plates. The parking lot behind the store had a lot of spaces. The store inside was busy but stocked. There was some areas that could use some floor cleaning as people were dropping things but overall this was an ok location. read more

This location has been around for years. i needed some last minute party decor and decided to stop by here. I'm glad i did. I found a small clearance section with great deals (50cent) stuff plates, table cloths, etc. It was just what i needed. The lady at check out was friendly. Great in n out experience. read more

Carmen the cashier was very professional and polite. She was the only cashier and was getting balloons for her customers. There were alot of us in line while she was getting balloons. I walked to another female employee and asked her if there was only one cashier available. She rudely said, I don't know, I work over here." Then I asked her if a manager was available, she said he's over there and ignored me after that. I walked around to the next aisle and saw a male who was putting Items on shelves. I asked are you the manager? He said yes, I asked can you have someone open another register because the cashier is getting balloons. He rudely said "I'm not at the register" I repeated, cashier is busy with balloons. He said "I'm over here" I noticed his name is Andrew. Just because you sell cheap product doesn't mean you should hire rude disrespectful employees. I will certainly never go in that store again because the customer service is trash! The Cashier Carmen did a great job and should teach your manager how to communicate with customers. This is why Amazon and Walmart win! I'd rather pay more knowing the customer service will ALWAYS be professional. There is a professional way to say NO to a customer. read more

I'm just curious if there's a minimum requirement of politeness for being a cashier. I was really thrown off by the indifferent attitude of the cashier (Kelsey). She was chewing gum the whole time she was helping customers (and not in a good way), not a smile on her face and felt like she was bothered by the customers being in the line. Also, when she dropped an item while scanning, she didn't even bother to make an effort of picking up, just gave a fake "sorry" and moved on. Overall her customer service skills are below average. read more

I come here all the time, and it's a decent store, but the customer service I received today was bad enough to write a review. My 74 yr old mom needed to use the restroom. I noticed the one cashier on duty had a long line so I asked another employee, Veronica who didn't seem busy if she could help. She just told me to ask the cashier for a key. I asked but the cashier paid no attention, I assume because of the long line of customers. Veronica seemed bothered to help, but eventually got manager keys and let us in the restroom. The key had been left inside the restroom... Long story short, work on your customer service. Basic hospitality goes a long way. read more

We were pleasantly surprised at this dollar tree. It says a lot when you come from Simi Valley to the San Fernando Valley and the store is cleaner and well-stocked, and the customer service is wonderful. Thank you to Joanne who served us today and she gives props to her manager, she may be out on maternity leave at the moment, but has taught her employees the importance of kindness and the value of a clean store. read more

Melody the cashier was rude to me. She tried to order me around maliciously, after I put my basket back in the aisle where I found it. She said as I was walking out " can you put the basket back where it was" which I did! First why did she wait to tell me this at the last minute when I was leaving when she clearly saw me place the basket where I put it. Always only have one register open they don't care how long the line is they refuse to open a register to help the line I think they do this so people don't come here managers wake up hire more cashiers because I see y'all refuse to do anything like open a register and help I always find a line of disgruntled customers in line complaining that it's only one register open and the managers act like their blind to the fact the line is to the back of the store read more

I like this location too, it's right out of Sepulveda exit from 118 Freeway, easy to find has big parking lot and it's usually clean and organized, that's all you need in bargain stores. I usually get balloons from here (the regular size)! They do have big selection for all occasions. Also if you are having a big party you can find anything here and without spending a fortune create an awesome party theme All you need is your imagination and hope that they will have what you need, of course I always end up getting few stuff from party city, target and Walmart read more

Well, I just love this store. I normally don't have a specific reason for going but I never leave with under 5 bags of items that I forgot I needed. They have a good selection of party ware. I would only get this here if it's going to save me time. The 1.25 sounds good but the quantity is usually very low. This does apply to many items BUT not to all. There is a huge selection of plastic storage goods and I'm addicted!! From sandwich containers to laundry baskets and everything in between. Awesome selection and always needed. Also check out the dry goods food section. Cookie and cake mixes are never 1.25 at your regular market. So look for some great buys here. All in all I come here to clear my mind. It's one of my Happy Places. It always feels good to leisurely push a cart around and look at all the things you probably don't need. If you do fill your cart, no worries cause you're at the Dollar Tree. And for me, it's a fun, happy place. read more

This is such a great Dollar Tree! It's brand spanking new, clean, organized and there is plenty of parking. I like that when I come into the store, it's easy to find what I'm looking for so I can come in and out quickly. My favorite aisle is definitely the greeting card section. You can get a card valued at $3 for just $0.50. Doesn't sound like much, but I usually come in and buy 10 cards at a time because someone always has a birthday, anniversary, etc. I'm really glad Dollar Tree is popping up in more and more locations. read more

Long long line, terrible wait time so please forget about the Granada Hills location off Balboa Blvd, near Devonshire. Store #6165, 10155 Balboa Blvd. On Saturday's and Sunday's from about 3:00 to 4:00 one cashier can be found taking care of a massive line. While the only other cashier is at lunch. This location's manager she has been made aware of this issue by the regular customers. There are no bad teams, just substandard leaders. Way to motivate the employees, get them yelled at on a regular basis by upset customers due to a team coverage deficiency. Time for me to find another location, spend my hard earned money at another Dollar Tree. I'm out.... read more

Can't beat the dollar store. I just drove pass this city and able to pick up essentials chocolate for a dollar. Perfect place to come on a budget road trip. Back in the days there were only dollar Sundays now dollar stores are everywhere. Happy to be alive, thanks dollar tree. read more

If I could leave 0 stars then I would. This place was absolutely disgusting. Upon entering the store, there was a feel that an apocalypse had just happened. Items off the shelf, nothing organized, and out of all employees there only one was working. On top of that, we found multiple items with mold on them, multiple items opened. And eaten, And also bugs and dirt on the ground. There is a dollar store 4 minutes from this one that is clean and well maintained. Well worth it the additional drive. read more

My daughter and I came to this Dollar Tree and we were very excited. We had visited this location before. We started shopping and my daughter informed me that she needed to use the restroom. I went to the front and asked for the key. When I opened the bathroom door I saw that it had no toilet paper, paper towels or toilet seat covers. It was bare! I took my daughters hand and walked her to the front to where the employee was and told him that there was nothing in there. The employee took the key and said, "there's nothing I can do right now" WHAT!!! My daughter was going to have an accident and there's nothing you can do??? Can't you take one of the million toilet papers from the shelf and give it to me to use? We didn't even continue shopping. We left! By the way, there was stuff on the floors in every aisle. This Dollar tree location lost a costumer! read more

This place is great. You can order online and just come by to pick up and everything is a dollar. I got 24 boxes of tissue for $24 that's cheaper than costco. And since this store is new it's very clean. Just wish the 99 cent store can order knlien. read more
