North Hills, CA While waiting for my job interview, I stopped by to kill time and be indoors to stay out of the heat. The store is on the smaller size, but it is well stocked, and they have the seasonal items on display. I browsed around and ended up in the clearance section where the sweets are. I found a very cheap Peppermint covered chocolate and decided to grab it. I opened it while driving and I find a funny taste. When I checked the expiration date, it has been expired for 2 months. Right there and then I wanted to turn around and return, but I decided it will be a waste of time and just put into my losses ($2). I will just have to be careful next time before buying an item. Plenty of free parking that is shared with other businesses. read more

I took my wife to this Marshalls location to look for her makeup stuff since we were in the area. The prices on women makeup are very reasonable but it's basically what they have at the store so you can't order ahead of time. The only bad side to this store is the location because the plaza gets busy and there also more homeless people who hangs out here. I found parking easily when we came during the afternoon and the store is a good size with a lot of other products too. They have a worker solely for the dressing room, I believe this is so people can't steal stuff. The customer service was great and they had a lot of cashier so the line wasn't backed up. read more

This is a very small Marshalls. Like, CVS-sized small. They do have a little bit of everything, but because of the size, the selection is limited, which makes it not really worth a special trip. I came a few days after Christmas, so I understand some of the mess and lack of merchandise is seasonal, but the size of the store is still the main issue. The overall vibe leans more Goodwill / Salvation Army / Burlington than the Marshalls experience I usually enjoy. This was actually my second time coming to this location, and I had forgotten why I didn't love it, which is exactly why I'm writing this review as a note to myself. If I had remembered how small it is, I wouldn't have come back. Giving 2 stars because there's plenty of parking, and there's a clothing store next door where I was able to find what I needed Note to self: don't bother with this location again. read more

Love Marshalls. They have something for everyone. The secret with any of these discounted stores is to hit them when their new shipments arrive. Depending on the day & time of the week, you can either walk out the door with nada or after spending $200 or more doing the happy dance! Not sure which is better...Ha, ha!!! This particular location gets a little messy. Hence the 4 stars. Clothes on the floor, aisles and shelves cluttered. I think you might find a cleaner store when opens first thing in the morning. At 5:50pm, 4/2/2023 me and my husband came to this store to return items. One of the item is an open box perfume which we bought yesterday. Nadine- manager told us that they couldn't accept the perfume since its considered sold and it's going to be hard for them to sell it. As if it's our problem.. (It was opened box already!) But before we came to the store we called the corporate and they specifically told us that we can return the item with no problem and just call them if they give us a hard time. We would like to call the corporate at that moment but we don't want to waste our time. So we decided to leave. No more Marshall Sepulveda!!! The manager Jasmine or whoever she is needs to have a training on customer service ASAP, she is scaring people away ... even the worker was scared to call her over when I asked for a manager. My sister has told me to come here and you can get some good deals. I was looking at the Halloween items, and to see if I could find some good water bottles for the Love run this Sunday. This store is very messy,they stuff all over the place. I wouldn't want to have to count their Inventory.Top name brands on all kind of shorts,pants etc. No wounder why I don't like to shop. Closest Marshalls to me and it really is a hit or miss here. Sometimes there are really good items and sometimes you just can't win. For the most part though, it is always clean - not as messy as other ones I have been too and there is a lot of space. I think the staff here is friendlier than other ones I have been to. You can find really good stuff on the clearance if you have time but for the most part depends on the day. read more

When I go to into a store like Marshall's I can't help to compare them with TJ Maxx and Ross. Honestly this Marshall's isn't my favorite. The problem I have with this store is the selection. I feel like in areas like Beverly Hills the Marshall's is way better. Even though this store is fairly clean, the employees are helpful and nice the selection of items is the problem. The prices here are always great and I feel like you are getting the product at the lowest possible price here. They aren't trying to overcharge you and I appreciate the stores that don't try to take advantage of the consumers. Overall this store might work for a need of something basic but if your looking for selection it's not going to be here. I do like the cheap dog toys, dog beds and other pet items they have for sale here. Lastly this store is in a parking lot with a Starbucks, Panda Express and a few other places and the parking lot is never too bad. read more

Located in the same plaza as Bank of America, Starbucks and Panda Express. It is somewhat decent in size with a decent selection of items. I bought three items here for $30 in total...not too shabby huh? I will make a stop here maybe once a month to check out their stock. read more

I went to return an item for store credit and the "manager" was refusing to help me. She told me to go to the other Marshall's I originally purchased the item at (Simi Valley). The Marshal is in Sepulveda one of the worst worst branch with a very very bad customer services. Just far a way from this store and don't waste of your time . It's what you expect from Marhsall's. The size of this Marshall's isn't the largest, but they have a decent selection. The prices are good, as is the case with most marshall's stores. I loved going to this Marshalls. I would go before work or on my day off. I loved looking for new high end makeup in the morning before people opened and swatched them. Yesterday I went looking for maternity clothes and I didn't find anything but I found brand name stuff on clearance and who doesn't like that. My dad wanted to gift me a MK backpack that I told him I liked. I pressed the assistance button and waited for about 10 minutes and no one came to help me their workers were just passing by. I felt sad because I loved going to that Marshalls. I would go all the time you can ask my friends I would always recommend them to go shopping at that Marshalls. But I'm never going to that marshalls ever again. Terrible customer service I told them at the front desk and they asked me if I still needed help in the handbag section yeah no thanks I'd rather pay regular price at Macy's than go through that again. WHY AM I JUST NOW FINDING OUT ABOUT THIS MARSHALL'S?! I had driven all the way to the Ross in Mission Hills looking for a new outfit for my son and was very disappointed and decided to try to find another store. I was directed to this store on my way home. I was so surprised at the selection at this store. I found what I was looking for right away. The store was clean, unlike the Ross, well lit and well stocked. So happy that Yelp led me to this location. The line was very long, even though all the registers were open, the line moved very slow (the reason for the star deduction). I will come back though seeing as this location is very convenient. read more

First time at this particular marshals. I don't due to much shopping but on the special occasion I came with my GF and she help me pick up some new polos and some great looks. I was pleasantly surprised with the selection this chain has and the name brands they carry here. Although the crowd I can do without yet it is worth it with very low pricing and hit or miss looks it's a great place to find last-minute options. The woman who manages the store at night is an idiot. She was no help at all when it came to returns and didn't try at all to help get to a resolution. Other managers from other stores have been helpful in these situations and I was surprised at this woman's lack of knowledge and effort.
