Going by the reviews I guess this place use to be clean but not anymore. It's not in the best neighborhood so walking in with bags is a no, you have to either take them to your car or leave them with the cashier and get them back on your way out. The place is a total mess, looks like a tornado hit and everything is out place. If you don't mind a messy store then it's a good place to find a few good deals. The staff is very nice and friendly so cant speak bad about them. read more

This place just opened a few months ago so it is very clean. It has a good selection of party materials, snacks, crafts, and beverages. It's not as extensive as Daiso but it as a lot of items that you use everyday for cheap. The parking lot is vast and the customer service is good. Overall, the experience was positive and I would revisit. read more

All the employees are always super sweet and open to helping. I work right beside them and I think they have excellent customer service! And honestly they have a huge variety of crafts, snacks, drinks, and a fairly large section for beauty. read more

There are a couple Dollar King stores in LA and I came to this one to pick up some misc. party supplies. It's big and they have some cool Easter holiday party decor too. You can spend 1+ hours in here since they have a wide selection of cheap items! read more

I love DOLLAR KING they have lots of products and the place is really clean. It is really nice to shop there because everything is well organized. Customer service is awesome. I just graduated from college so this is all I can get is very useful in the system quick pick up items and cheap house ware items. A perk of a dollar stores usually the little candies and snacks that you can get but this one really doesn't have anything in that department besides about one row, so I would suggest just going to the 99cent store for more selection. As I said before though this location is clean and upkeep and it's nice for a quick stop and pick up for around the house needs read more

The Dollar King in Panorama City is amazing! It literally has become one of my favorite locations to shop. This store in particular is one of the newer locations and is SUPER neat and clean. The store is so neatly organized, I was able to find everything I needed in addition to a few other items I did not necessarily need but I just could not pass up the opportunity for such great items for such a discounted price. They have a wide variety of household items, seasonal items, MAKEUP, crafting items & even basic clothing items ALL FOR $1.11 The shopping center has easy parking, the staff was very kind and overall I had a great experience. I went in here today because I read some of the reviews about their good art supplies. Well sadly I did not find anything really worth buying in the arts and crafts section. However, I did stock up on some great drugstore makeup. They had a great selection that included Milani and Jordana! Overall I'm pleased that I went even if I didn't find what I was originally looking for. read more

I love this Dollar King!!! Every time I go I always find what I need. If not the workers there always help. They have a very good selection in holiday stuff and the carry Milani which is one of my favorite makeup lines. One of this things that I love is that its very clean. I always go and I'm greeted when I enter, which makes me feel welcomed. In all, I always recommend this store to family and friends. read more

The store is on the smaller size, but it is well stocked, and they have the seasonal items on display. I browsed around and ended up in the clearance section where the sweets are. I found a very cheap Peppermint covered chocolate and decided to grab it. I opened it while driving and I find a funny taste. When I checked the expiration date, it has been expired for 2 months. Right there and then I wanted to turn around and return, but I decided it will be a waste of time and just put into my losses ($2). I will just have to be careful next time before buying an item. Plenty of free parking that is shared with other businesses.

Horrible dollar king do not go to this one. They follow you around the store and make weird comments. Everytime I went in the store I was followed or had employees looking around me for absolutely no reason. Not a single employee is respectful they are all so rude it's unbelievable how they even have a job in customer service. I would rate negative if I could. The manager is especially rude and extremely unprofessional. There are many other dollar king locations that don't do this unnerving behavior, it would a be a waste of your money to spend it at this location. They were also talking badly about other customers in front of me without a care in the world! Besides that the store is small and there are other dollar kings in the area that have larger selection. read more

I love shopping here. My favorite aisle is there arts and crafts section. Everytime I visit I always find something new. A great place to shop for school supplies and when it comes to party decorations, this is the place to be. And what's helpful to know is they provide helium service for all types of balloons. Every time I've come here they over charge me. The employees are rude and are not trained to do their job correctly. After over changing me they told me they could only offer me store credit. After doing a mistake they made they wanted to give me store credit? Be fucken for real. Management needs to do better. read more

I politely asked if he could either adjust the price or help me find the item that was actually priced at $1.99. Instead, he rolled his eyes and told me to "just pay for these two items" and that he would look for the other item after helping the customers waiting in line. I told him that I would rather have the issue resolved before completing my purchase. He rolled his eyes again, walked over to compare the items, and within less than a minute the issue was resolved. The issue itself wasn't the item, it was Randall's attitude. If the pricing error was on the store's end, it should have been handled professionally and courteously. Instead, I was met with eye-rolling, dismissive behavior, and unnecessary rudeness. I chose not to call out his behavior in front of the other customers, but it was highly unprofessional.
