The lack of basic courtesy or customer service was unreal. But what truly pushed me over the edge was what happened next. I called the establishment to speak with a manager, just to express how unacceptable the service was -- and the manager on duty hung up on me. Rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. I was absolutely baffled. I have never in my life experienced such a disgusting lack of customer service. And frankly, based on how I was treated, it felt racially motivated. I found a very cheap Peppermint covered chocolate and decided to grab it. I opened it while driving and I find a funny taste. When I checked the expiration date, it has been expired for 2 months.
