Variety of unique items here. Jason, David, and Aileen provided kind, friendly service with fast checkout. The environment feels safe and relaxing. One note: next time, it's best to double-bag cold items -- this bag tore, and I lost a Reign energy drink (one of my favorites). I hope it can be replaced with a new one. I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised at the service I received recently. Never has any other cashier bothered to assist or ask anything regarding bagging groceries (they have all been nice or at least civil), It isn't such a big deal but an extra mile type thing. I thought it was very efficient and kind of Jessica (the young lady at the register on the afternoon I stopped there before rushing off to an appointment). I made a mess of just throwing the items in the bags unevenly and she took the time to fix them the way they best fit. What a great customer service attitude! She'll go far if she keeps it up. read more

I had bad costumer service here! I was shopping with my family . I had Employee by the name of Emily that works at this for this location. That came up to me pointing at me like if I was gonna steal a brush here. Told me if you're gonna take something you gotta pay for it . I as still shopping in the store. I always shop at another location came to pick up a pacific item here decided to shop for more items. I started shopping here weekly back in mid 2024. For the most part, I like it for the great prices on pet food, treats and organic fruits and vegetables. That said, I have also bought milk that soured quickly, Coffee that was old and stale, berries that molded literally the next day. Plus, bought a couple cucumber plants there that died quickly even though i was caring for them properly. Some of their now go there only for items i know I can depend on being good & after that I go to Ralph's. read more

I think these stores are really good because they are independently owned and carry different things. In this particular one they had clothes...I was really surprised at that but bought a four pack of work socks for my son for $4.99 and then one of my favorite beers, plus some other things. Grand Opening today March 25th 2021! My husband noticed Grocery Outlet opening near us so we were so excited and looking forward for this day to come. It's been quite await and we would always passing by to see if it's open yet. Our first experience at a Grocery Outlet was up North several years ago. We loved their cheap price, name brand items and organic selections they offer. I was able to meet Christopher and Lisette today. They were so kind, generous and excited to share their store to the community. They even want to help local small businesses around Chatsworth like different restaurants and fitness center. We are so excited there's a Grocery Outlet near us and looking forward to shopping here regularly. Great items and unbeatable prices! read more

I got to check this store out for the first time today. I was pleasantly surprised by what was there. They have your basic grocery items as well as specialty items that you'd find at stores like Whole Foods and Sprouts. It's exactly what it says it is, an outlet store for items that probably didn't sell well in the other stores. I found a few things that I was familiar with as well as some items that were new to me. I was able to try out a couple new brands too. Prices are reasonable though some things weren't as great of a deal as they claimed to be. This is definitely a store that I will check regularly to see if there are any hidden gems. Here are some tips: * Produce in the refrigerated section is most likely on its way to rotting. So check very carefully. * Check expiration dates in general, some things are nearing their end. * If there's something that you KNOW you like. Stock up bc it may not be there when you go back. * Be sure to check all aisles if you have time and aren't just looking for something specific. Inventory will change often. Parking: It's in a nice sized lot with other businesses like Planet Fitness. I can imagine that parking can get busy at certain times. Bonus they have a family and veterans parking spot. The family spot is on the perfect place to unload your groceries straight into the trunk without needing to take your kids or cart into a busy parking lot. read more

I go to Grocery Outlet several times a week as I work close by, like 5-6 times a week. I go in after work, and the last few times I left saying to myself why do I go to this store, they treat me with disrespect and true unkindness. After a 12 hour day, with the hot summer days, I am tired, my hair is messy, my clothes have shown the wear of the day. I am treated so poorly, they must think I am homeless. Last week I went to the Grocery Outlet at Topanga and Roscoe. What a difference in my treatment and complete respect towards me. I thought it was me, but no it is the staff at the Chatsworth location that are just plain rude. New guys at the register need to be replaced. This review is long overdue. read more

LOVE Grocery Outlet, I'm always surprised at the type of deals and items I find there. They don't last long so it's a good idea to keep coming to see what you may find. They have some really great expensive brands for sale and a lot of items to choose from. I used to like this place but beware if the cashier messes up your order. They give you the complete runaround. I bought wine on "wine wednesday" when it's supposed to be 15% off. The "manager" was the one who told me about it. I got home and saw they didn't take the discount off. You'd think, no problem, just show the receipt next time and I'd get a credit. Not here. The "manager" did not know how to fix it. So he suggested I come back another time, maybe the owner will be there. Then, he said he'd learn but it may take time if I could just wait while he looks at video footage. What? I just bought $200 more food and I don't want it to defrost while he's watching videos. And WTF? I have the receipt and it's about $5.50 they owed me. Now I feel like they thought I was some vagrant digging through the trash for receipts to try to somehow scam them. Anyway, if you go here, realize that you may be throwing some money away. And be careful of the expiration dates. Many things on the shelf have expired by weeks even. read more

The review on 6/10 is completely accurate with getting overcharged. When you see items on sale, remember the price because there's a good chance you will be charged full price without the sale price getting reflected. Whoever updates registers or whatnot with prices is doing a horrible job because this has happened to be quite a bit but only at the Chatsworth location. The owner/manager is great but their assistant managers aren't. They hire teenagers which is great (helps youth unemployment), but they aren't training them properly. They didn't offer the red tag specials on meats that were on the label so they had to get one of the managers on duty to void them. I get it...it happens and this is like a 16/17 year old kid. What continued to happen was they did not void the what they charged me initially so they were going to charge me full prices in addition to the sale prices. The manager who assisted the kid didn't catch it until I said it. This happened with at least 3 items. I caught another charge that wasn't voided naturally on my way out. I went back in and this time another manager had to void the charge. 3 employees and not a single one of them apologized and no I was not rude and hardly even spoke unless it was to mention that they overcharged me. ALWAYS watch what the screen as the clerk scans your items. Don't be afraid to be the person to say you were overcharged and that they need to rescan (a penny saved is a penny earned). This store will continue to to overcharge you unless more people speak up about errors at the register. Additionally they often don't even list prices on items throughout the aisles which is frustrating (again who is training their staff?). I definitely prefer the Canoga Park, Northridge, and Simi locations over the Chatsworth one but unfortunately those stores are out of the way.... read more

Never thought I'd be leaving a review for a grocery store, but here I am. Lol. My friends have started to wonder if I'm a brand ambassador for this place because I hyped it up all the time. The prices are unbelievable. They stock a MASSIVE amount of vegan items. So much more affordable than the same brands at WF/Ralph's/ TJ. And they sell some products I haven't been able to find at any other stores. This store is really clean, well organized, and every employee has been helpful. I met one of the owners and he was super kind. They like to support local businesses. You can tell they really care about their customers and the community. I genuinely look forward to every visit. Intrigued and broke, this combination lead me to finally visit this place a few miles from my residence. New plaza featuring starbucks and jerkoff in the box, (yes I know, we dont have enough of a mazed-line of cars spewing out into the streets disrupting traffic and THE crappiest fast food joint known to man, respectively in the valley at every freaking quarter mile so why not add more instead of more important and useful food establishments) and a popeyes (yay more Chinese plumper injected formula and imported chicken!) First, bonus points for being the ONLY market open on Xmas. 2nd, only 2 other people with no life whatsoever were there, NO crowds, yay. 3rd, lots of off-brand and unheard of or unusual finds here. Its like an Easter egg hunt for some groceries, so it was somewhat amusing and fun. Managed to eek out a spend of 30+ bucks; probably would've been more if my pad wasn't as well stocked (didnt really need anything) Cashier Emily was friendly and chatty, had an eyelash stuck on her eyeball hope shes ok. My finds included Biscoff Ice Cream (If you havent tried their regular cookies, you havent lived the life Im telling you) so thrilled they had their ice cream, only 2 bucks! Steak seasoning big bottle usually these are 12 bucks even at smart and final, 6 bucks here. , steak sauce, frozen wild fried halibut box fish n chips style, giant cheerios box cinnamon oats 3 bucks, 12-pack organic seaweed snak pax 4 bux, twix fun size grab bag 4 bux, interesting iced herbal mango tea bottle 2 bucks each, and organic la victoria chunky salsa for-you guessed it, 2 bucks. Grape kombucha, 2 bucks a bottle. If these items pan out and taste good, these are like 1/2 off prices on average. Almost lost it seeing 2 dollar mini avocado bags, but most were spoiled and at least half dead inside, so pass. Maybe not the best first impression right on the entrance there. Lots of stuff but really not a go to market, when you have the goods at TJ, Ralphs, Sprouts and what not. Its really like a TJMaxx of groceries, unwanted, off brand items mostly. If you feel adventurous it could be fun. Probably visit once a month to see if any nuggets here and there. read more

I was in with my Mom yesterday and had the worst experience. First off, I'm a fan of grocery outlet so I've been to other locations. I can't tell you how rude the cashier was. No greeting, nothing. Then there were no one to bag groceries. And the store was quiet. So I started bagging with her. No thank you nothing. Then she put all the heavy bottles in one bag which I couldn't even lift. I saw the store owner and told him my experience quickly as we were leaving. He didn't even come out of the store to find us or apologize. Unbelievable. Please go to Trader Joe's! They know how to treat their customers. Or go to the Simi Valley location. read more

I came shopping here yesterday and accidentally I was rang up extra then I paid for and the manager was so wonderful and took care of my issue right away with such a great customer service and issued me a refund and also gave me a coupon $3 which was really sweet of her! !!!
