In general Grocery Outlet is a great value, great fun to shop at... really it's usually a joy to shop at. NOT THIS LOCATION! Honestly, it pains me to say this... it's the people here. They just suck. This is the location I pass daily on my commute... I had such a terrible experience there just over a year ago that I stopped coming here... my coworkers suggested Chatsworth (on Mason) & Canoga Park (Roscoe & Topanga) and I really never looked back. Then in a rush & for the sake of convenience I popped in with one of my coworkers recently.... I knew better. I am still so upset by how I was spoken to & spoken about... I'm crying as I type this. How any business owner could put these terrible human beings at the checkout &/or in charge of the checkout just blows my mind. Hot tip to the idiots who work there... just because I look white does NOT mean that I do not understand and speak Spanish Hot tip #2 people have disabled placards for many different reasons, not all of them are visible. This time it was not me in my car with my placard... it was my coworker... an American hero, a veteran who lost his leg (BTK amputee)... who was harassed and insulted. To the franchise owner... I had a pleasant experience shopping here for groceries and enjoyed the array of goods found here. Note that most of the frozen food are in open-air freezers in the middle of the store so it feels pretty chilly and cold inside! Speaking of frozen foods, I was pretty impressed at the selections this store had because they were pretty diverse and also great in portion sizes as they aren't too big or bulky in quantities. The deals and prices here are actually cheaper than other stores for some products.. most impressive were these large-sized pumpkins for only $4.99! Other stores would make these at least $15. They were also pretty good quality and there were a lot of varied pumpkins as well. I noticed that the plastic bags here cost 15 cents instead of 10, unless there's a recent change in law I haven't realized. The parking lot is pretty medium sized and isn't too hard to navigate around for. The store is also next to a pretty common intersection so I think the placement of this store is pretty good! Anyways, I'm pretty satisfied with the items I purchased here and glad I didn't break my wallet for some essentials. read more

Grocery outlet kind of reminds me of Smart & Final but smaller. They have a little bit of everything and at great prices. They're a good alternative to bigger super markets. I've been there early in the morning because I don't like crowds and like to be able to walk around each aisle just to see what they have that week. Cheap groceries but good food and I would highly recommend. I just wish I could locate the maple and pecan honey bunches of oats cereal they once had but no longer have in stock as that was my favorite cereal. They are all clean and well stocked. The staff are always nice but it seems they are more friendly and offer more smiles at this one. Great place to shop for a discounted price. They have a lot of organic products too so really saves you a lot of money compared to the other grocery stores. My only caution is make sure you look at the expiration dates as the really great deals have a short time before it is expired but if you plan on eating it right away you're perfectly fine. read more

This was our first visit to this Grocery Outlet location and we are so pleasantly surprised by how well-stocked and organized everything was! They also have such a great selection of everything we normally buy at other grocery stores, but for a much better price point. New Grocery Outlet in Winnekta (Reseda and/or Canoga Park adjacent.... depending on the direction you're coming from) is my favorite.... Not only is this store kept immaculate, but the parking lot is extremely spacious with entrances and exits from both sides of the corner of Sherman Way and Corbin Ave where this location is thriving. My go to location has often been the one in Burbank, but it's frequently busy and over shopped... If you've never been to a G.O. anywhere... I definitely recommend starting off here. The customer service is spot on and the layout is what you'd expect if you know the world of the Outlet of Grocery.... They don't just carry food, wine and spirits, but everything you'd find in a typical grocery store including pet goods, electronics, containers and plants to name a few. The prices are some of the best you'll find... As well as brand most know very well at close to half their normal price or better yet... IN BULK. I don't think I've ever seen some of these items in their larger quantities like Sahale nuts (box of 12 individual packs for 5.99), Gardein Black Bean Burgers (box of 12 for 15ish normally four to six dollars for individual bags of 4)... Your mind will race at how much you can save... and the craft beer, wine and misc adult beverages are incredible deals as well. Stalk up on snacks, stalk up your freezer, get a new dog bed for your pup... You'll feel like a winner at The Grocery Outlet of Winnekta for sure. The produce is not bad at all (quality over quantity) and they have some solid deals here as well on par with any other grocer. They are practicing best health practices (hand sanitizer for customers, masks worn, signage for all) here as well and there are people on the floor to assist if you need it... The old Fallas is now a newly opened grocery outlet. With wide open aisles and good prices on off brand closeouts. There are always gems to be found. Like the Christmas peppermint ice cream and unicorn pudding snack packs, I'm sure they're still some good. I wan most impressed with the pop tart selection and monk fruit powder price. If you see it and want it you have to get it because it might not be there next time you visit. There are some staples though. It's quit fun browsing the aisles to see what they have. read more

I'm a regular and just got followed to my car and accused of stealing. Told the manager and she don't care. I walked from the register, after paying, to the sliding door. It was about 1 foot. All the emplyee had to do is ask the checker if the lady in the pink shirt paid. He followed me to my car and demanded a receipt. Pretty sure I have rights and since I was at my car already he doesnt have any authority over me. He reached into my car which I'm pretty sure is illegal. Wouldn't tell me his name. Manager wouldn't tell me his name either. Shamed me in front of everyone when I went back to complain. Don't go they will accuse you of stealing when you get to your car. Ruined my day. I won't be going back. I usually spend at lease 100.00 everytime I go there. If you don't see someone actually take something and not pay for it, don't accuse a regular customer or any customer of stealing. Shame on their practices. read more

I keep on coming back in this store because of their products and low prices and offer customer to get coupons to be used when do their shopping. I've been coming to the grocery outlet for the past year, I live across the street . When I first started coming here the cashiers were so nice and friendly - I forget their names but the young lady with the red multi color hair , she had a little accent and the young man with the lisp and blue eyes. Both awesome friendly people/ they don't cashier anymore. Which good for them I'm sure they got a well deserved raise . But ever since they left, the new cashiers have been super RUDE ! And I am upset that I keep letting it happen and I don't speak up. Today was the last straw when I saw a young Latina lady with curly hair around 12:30 pm on Wednesday December 4th giving this older woman attitude for organizing the mess In between our two orders that got messed up, the young Latina lady gave the clearly older grandma this terrible look like she was irritated by her organizing the line- she wanted to roll her eyes for sure . If that was my grandma Believe me I would have caused a scene to get the manager. Another time a black girl at the cashier gave me a similar look when I tried to hand her my ID to purchase a beer, like she was irritated that I was handing her my ID and giving me angry eye brows. Like girl, I'm not your mom don't look at me like that again. You two need to fix your attitude, I will speak up next time. I will call the manager . And I already know how this works, the employees attitude is a direct reflection of their management so either management is speaking poorly about customer or is abusing their employees in some form of way and it's leeching into the environment . read more

Fast convenient and affordable grocery store. I purchased a case of protein shakes on May 1st that had an expiration date of May 4th. So if you shop here you definitely have to consume your products fast, lol! Service was friendly and the isles was wide but due to the expiration date of the shakes I questioned the freshness of the produces.
