They deals here are good and they have cute clothing and essentials for home here. Also, cute kid clothing as well. I can't believe I've never left a review for DD's before, especially since I've been coming to this location for over five years now. Let me be honest: DD's is a special kind of place. You can find so many great items at amazing prices, though I'll admit, it can be a hit or miss. Some days I leave with bags full of finds, and other days I walk out empty-handed. But that's part of the fun. I especially love their candles and shoe selection. There's always something that catches my eye. They also have a nice variety of purses, bags, and wallets. I found the cutest mini wallet here right before a recent trip, and it matched my outfit perfectly. Little things like that keep me coming back. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because the customer service can be inconsistent. But if you're open to the thrill of the hunt and love a wide selection at a great price, this place is absolutely worth visiting. read more

I actually was super excited to walk into this store and automatically see their great selection of products of all sorts on a reasonable spectrum of affordable values. Although I did walk in with a purchase already in mind and was planning to be in and out fairly quickly, I decided I actually wanted to take a good look around instead and see if there was anything else I'd be interested in. However, when I just wanted to pass to the lavatory quickly before my shopping began, I was told to wait at the back of the store and someone will be told to come assist me with the code. I waited about 4 minutes, an associate passed me, so I followed her and I proceeded to go up to the front desk to ask again. Before I could even say anything, the same associate told me the same "just go wait and I'll send someone right now"; I said "Oh. Okay." I turned my back to walk towards the back of the store again, I heard her ask someone right as I turned "can you please go open the restroom". There were 4 associates, all women, chatting and all doing the same exact task at the front of the store, and not one of them had the human decency to walk with me to open the restroom. I waited for another 4 minutes and then I just walked out because I wasn't going to just stand there continuously making a fool out of myself. The reason for this post is because of the principle, they could've denied me the restroom, or lied and said it's only for employees (the restroom did state "see an associate for restroom" insinuating customers are allowed to use). However, instead of the latter, they chose to inhumanly keep me waiting. I understand if they were super busy or actually attending customers but understand they were all conversing about non-work related subjects and attempting to complete the same exact task as if all 4 workers are needed to do complete the work in one very small area. It was all very silly really, but I thought I'd let people know. I'll see if I can get the names of these mocking associates, so that way you can try to steer clear of them. read more

I have an upcoming long trip and I needed some essentials. I decided to come here to see if they have any. The security welcomes you upon coming in and sends you on your merry way when you're leaving. The store looks neat, clutter free, and they have a lot of products. If you're a brand conscious person, this is not the place for you. I walked every aisle and I was unhappy with it because most of the aisles are tight. Only one cart can pass. I was able to find what I came for though. I got me a throw blanket, a neck pillow on clearance, and a nice vest - apt for the cold weather. It was a good shopping experience. Register wasn't busy so it was a breeze. Seasonal items are on display. Plenty of parking. read more

Ummmm okay so I just went to DD's and my son picked out a little toy. I guess it didn't have a price tag so the cashier asked me if it was the only one there, I said "yeah it was sorry" and he looked at his cash register then looked at me and mumbles "it's gonna have to be $15 then" what???? I told him to keep it. It definitely wasn't a $15 toy and he didn't even try to go and look for another one or ask his co worker for what to do. Wtf. I've never experienced that before. They offer a wide range of items here, such as homegoods, clothing, shoes, toys, baby items, etc. the items sold here tend to be in just ok shape, often dirty, falling apart. I purchased a pair of cute flats that completely fell apart after wearing them once and gave me blisters. They definitely have good deals and prices are low, but you really have to dig to find good stuff. The staff tries to keep the store organized, but they are not helpful when you are looking for something specific. The inventory is just too random and disorganized to keep track. I prefer to shop at other discount stores. read more

Went there and found 2 bottles of Elderberry liquid. Same exact bottle with the same expiration date and the manager Amerilies would not give it to me for the one with the lesser price. Most stores will; clearly not this one. The cashier spoke to her in front if me like I was invisible, manager did not turned to me and acknowledge me or spoke to me directly, which I think is rude, when I was trying to tell her the expiration dates were the same. don't like that so won't be shopping here during the holidays. read more

Yesterday, I went into DD's to purchase an auto steering wheel cover. I found one I liked and went to the checkout line. With 8 customers in line at about 2:00PM, there was only one cashier working and she was slow as hell. During the checkout of the first customer, the cashier RAN OUT OF CHANGE! She called for change over the intercom, and when there was no response, the Loss Prevention STATUE called over his radio. We waited and waited but still no response nor action. Several more calls went out with the same result. Over 5 minutes later customers were asking if a manager was on duty. No response. A couple of minutes later with the line growing I decided to leave. The cashiers routinely call out "next" even before your transaction is finished, which I know is a company policy, but DD's is apparently not on point to handle a SIMPLE checkout procedure in a TIMELY MANNER. read more

Hands down please!!! This is not your typical Marshall's, TJ Maxx or Ross Store. I came in on opening day thinking I would find name brand items at low prices. I was wrong this place offers cheap, imitation brands. This is more of a upper class Fallas Paredes store without the bright orange plastic bags. Staff: They were friendly, nice and ask how my experience was. I had to be honest, I didn't like it. Overall, I'm giving them a 3.5 stars because they don't offer what they say they sell. The pictures on this page do not go with this location. The inside and the outside are depressing, and is just a little sister store to Ross, only worse. They sell the same lower quality crap that other DD's sell. As usual though everything is all over the floor or tossed randomly on shelves making things difficult to look at. They look at you funny if you stand around too long near the front looking at merchandise, because of course this store must get hit a lot by shop lifters, but they trust no one. The ugly lighting in the store makes shopping here even more unappealing. The whole place always makes me wonder how long the store will stay open, or if it'll just end up getting worse. read more

I would have given this place a 3 star, mostly due to there $8 average price range, however their customer service is lacking. ISABEL, might have been having some personal issues affecting her customer service on this particular day, but still no excuse. She calls the next person in line before the previous guest pays and picks up their merchandise from the counter. We told Isabel we'll wait so we don't rush the previous customer. THEN, she rolled the clothes we bought into a bag and tossed them in, we had to take the time (before leaving the checkout counter) to fold them and place them in the bag. I might be back for the cheap prices, but will avoid Isabel. read more

You know I had never heard of DD's discounts store before and this company had taken over the old Marshalls / TJ Maxx store that use to be here. I was a little skeptical when I went in but to my surprise things were pretty decent and pretty cheap. Its exactly the same format as Ross / Mashalls / TJ Maxx just with cheaper brands and less colorful decor. I mean they are one step down but because of that you can find some great deals. I found alot of guys stuff here such as, shoes, pants, car seat covers, floormats and everything I would find at Ross, just cheaper. read more

Wasn't impressed with the selection. I bought socks which were $3.99 for 4 pairs. Also a t_shirt for $1.99. For such a large store they do didn't have much, I guess I had higher expectations. No problem with parking and good customer service. Not sure why they need a security guard. read more

This place reminds me of Ross in some ways, but with better service. The lady whose name is Jacqueline was very helpful in helping find what I needed. It's good to see quality service by the people they hire.Also, the prices for this place is very inexpensive and had a wide range of stuff I would stop by grab another day. I like how the staff is well trained and this place is very organized. For sure, I will be shopping here from now on and it beats driving to the fashion district. Rude managers! I couldn't believe manager can be this much rude. I purchased a bag pack and my face started rashes all over and getting worse and it took me a week to realize it's the bag! Then I returned to the store to tell them remove this product but instead of appreciating they where behaving like I lie even I still have rashes! Ariana one manager told you used it! And then said it's my break other one comes to help you out. Other one came. Bidriana one of the managers said I don't return your item you can come back when the other manager is available without any reason! Call the customer service and they called the store and forced her to return it! For sure there was no apology from Bidriana! Disgusting! The manager 'glenda' is SO rude!!! I was busy shopping and I saw that she worked there, so I asked a question about where a certain product would be. She told me to wait as she was 'busy' and when I asked again literally 10 minutes later, she rolled her eyes at me. What kind of customer service is that? How are you working in customer service when that's the type of 'service' you provide? Later on I called up asking who she was and one of the associates told me she was a manager. I can't send a complaint to the manager obviously so I decided to put it on here. I had a bunch of items I was going to buy too but decided to leave the store. Nice place to find good deals on practically anything. A little unorganized though and the dress selection is pretty non existent.

Sometimes you find some cool items for a reasonable price. The store is pretty clean and organized by sections ei men's, women's, shoes, etc. The men's section has a good selection of shirts of all sizes but the quality is often low. Long lines at times with 1 or 2 registers open. Would go there again read more

I love the low prices...I mean who doesn't love a bargain!! Lol. I wish it was a little more organized so you can find things more faster but what do you expect from a big discount department store!!! I've worked at Ross before and I know how hard it is to keep up a store that size, with that many cheap merchandise and that much traffic daily...! So I sympathise with the employees there. It is not filled to the brim with merchandise, but it does have somewhat of a selection, and if you can find what you want, it's bound to be at least 20% cheaper than it is at Ross or Marshall's. First off, dd's isn't meant to be a high end store. It is a discount store, but don't count it with the likes of Marshall's or TJ Maxx. The clothes you find here are not name brand, nor are they good quality all the time. You would find their clothes at an independent owned shop in the mall. But that doesn't deter me from coming here. I come here for the clothes and purses, which are items that I can easily part ways with if I have to. Prices range from $4-$10 for shirts and sweaters and sometimes pants. I get my daughter's clothes here as well. She's 10 months old and grows out of clothes fast so I love shopping here as I can easily part ways with the clothes she no longer fits in and not have to worry about "oh man I spent this much on this and she's already too big!" Purses again are not the best quality and are unfamiliar brands, but they're just as good as kohls or target. They range from $10-$25. Way cheaper than kohls. I bought a purse from kohls that was regular $60 and it broke 2 weeks later. I'm sporting my dd's purse for $12 and it's going strong 6 months later. They have the occasional name brand like Guess and Bebe and Betsy Johnson. Overall, it's a great store with cheap finds! I go all the time! read more

Pet peeve: first one in store when it opened to return something. I was told to go to where the line forms for returns so I complied. Just checked out this place and I really wasn't expecting much, but it really surprised me. I would compare it to Ross in the exact same way it is made. I was able to get my square copper pot for $44.95 versus elsewhere it is usually around $70. I am very pleased to have just come in randomly because it was totally worth it. read more
