I love World Market- this is the closest location to me and if I lived any closer I'd be here every day. It's currently the start of the holiday season and there are so many cute things on the shelves including advent calendars, holiday mugs and ornaments. I got here early thinking it was an hour after opening but they opened at 10am today. There were several people already in line to play the Golden Nutcracker game (they aggressively hunt for the hidden nutcracker to get $). I get overstimulated easily so I made my way around the store at my own pace but after 15- 20 min of shopping, all 3 nutcrackers had been found. So I guess people have turned somehting that's supposed to be fun into an annoying Supermarket Sweep-like experience. That being said, I found a lot of cute decorations and if you're looking for cute and unique gift ideas, this is the place to shop.

This was my first time at this World Market location. The closest one to my place is in Burbank. I stopped by this store to see if they had anything interesting for my friend as his birthday gift. This store is a decent size inside and the layout is great. The snacks are toward the back of the store. The wines are on the right side close to the checkout. They also have some furniture here as well. I found parking just fine in the Fallbrook plaza this store is located in. They were not busy for a Friday night and not that many people inside the store either.

Ugh, this store is so fun to shop at. I love coming here and looking at all the beautiful and cool things they have. I love trying out all the foreign goods, and the staff is always kind and super helpful when I have any questions! I recently got a Good dog greens grow kit and my pup loves it!!!

I love that they carry my favorite IPA!

I always enjoy stopping in at World Market! They always have such unique items you can only find here, like certain candles, soaps, toys, cards, wine, international food items from all over the world, decor, accessories for the home & kitchen, etc. The staff at this location has always been friendly and helpful. On my most recent visit, I was happy to find one of my favorite IPA's on sale! They have a free rewards program too!

As an interior designer i am overall liking this place . Real nice outdoor pillows always ! I purchased an outdoor sofa set here about a year ago , and today i got some outdoor dining chairs. One empoyee stood out , even though they were all nice and helpful. His name was Fern ! Thank you Fern for helping us with the chairs

I don't need this. But I do.

One of my favorite stores ever... See, when I was first introduced to World Market in my early twenties, I didn't quite understand or fully appreciate the vast abundance of everything there is to love about this store. Advent calendars in the form of hot sauce bottles and specialty jams? Decorative (paper) crackers for the holidays? Your favorite flavored Japanese lays? Buddha and ramen-shaped post-it notes? I mean, this store has everything if you're looking for a creative way to put together a basket of goods or stocking stuffers. I absolutely love visiting World Market any chance I get to add to my collection of trinkets that I don't ever need but definitely ... well, need, at the same time. The amount of culture from different areas ranging in food and alcohol is mind-blowing and always a treat. It's hard to describe what kind of store World Market is when I'm explaining it to those who haven't heard of it, because it offers a range of wines and beers and other liquor from different places of origin around the world, but it also specializes in some beautiful light fixtures, furniture, hand lotions and soaps, and lots and lots of cards. My most recent favorite items were my Frieda Kahlo pin that I proudly wear on my work badge every day, as well as this adorable lollipop-looking "seed pop pizza" that isn't actually edible, because it contains the seeds for the ultimate pizza ingredients: tomato, basil and fennel. I mean...so adorable and eclectic and simply unique. I also can't forget The Golden Girls magnet set that I got for my mom just because I felt like it; not only was it an adorable gift, but it brought back memories of when we'd watch it on TV together all the time. Do yourself a favor and visit your local World Market for a mood-booster. There's something there for everyone. PARKING Available in the public lot

Absolutely terrible experience at Home Decor in Woodland Hills today. I went in to buy a tile…read morecutter and the item was locked in a cage. I asked FOUR different employees for help while standing there waiting. The Pro Service department was literally right across from the tile cutters and multiple workers saw me standing there. One slimmer employee with a beard acted like he was going to help, then walked around me and went over to Nelly instead of actually assisting me. It honestly felt like they were more focused on flirting and talking to each other than helping customers. Nelly kept peeking her head around the Pro Service area watching me wait and still chose not to help. I stood there for around 10 minutes waiting just to get someone to unlock a simple item. The only reason I finally got helped was because a very nice manager happened to walk by and stepped in. To make things worse, when Nelly finally rang me up she was rude the entire time. Instead of handing me the receipt professionally, she just told me "grab your receipt" while it printed out. No customer service, no apology, nothing. The manager was the only good part of the entire experience. Everyone else acted annoyed that they had to do their job. Definitely one of the worst customer service experiences I've had in a long time.

When I approached the downstairs counter, the associate Francy said she would need to see my receipt to determine whether she could help. I pulled out my receipt, but she did not look at it and instead began walking away, then told me the exchange would need to be done upstairs. This was inconvenient since I was actively shopping downstairs and carrying purchased items. When I went upstairs, the associate there was very kind and completed the exchange without issue. She also mentioned that exchanges can be processed downstairs, which made the earlier refusal confusing and inconsistent. I also asked Francy if my pillowcases and a purchased bag could be held behind the counter while I continued shopping. My request was met dismissively, and I was not assisted. Another associate eventually helped me, though the interaction felt abrupt and unwelcoming. While I appreciate the help I received upstairs, the overall experience felt unnecessarily difficult and inconsistent with the level of service I expect from Crate & Barrel. Note: Also the attendant upstairs was amazing and Shawn the manager was very kind as well!

I was shopping for gifts for two of my favorite friends who happen to have their January birthdays one day apart. A group of us were meeting for a celebratory dinner, and I was on the hunt for a fun, unique gift for each of my pals. Though I gave the store a good walk-through, I didn't find anything that jumped out at me. I ended up settling for gift cards for each of them. One of the ladies Loves HG, so I knew she'd be happy to have a reason to go shopping. The other one doesn't need much in her home, but likes to have fun finds for their garden / patio, so that should work out well, too. Usually HG stores are very well merchandised and do displays that feature seasonal items, or different color schemes or themes. This location didn't have standout displays to catch my attention. It seemed a little unorganized. The line to check out was very long. Much longer than I'd have expected on a Tuesday afternoon. They could have used at least one or two more cashiers. Then the one younger woman who took care of me got confused on the gift cards and didn't know how much was on each one and had to get a supervisor. The amounts were different because I did have a smaller gift I'd ordered online for one of the friends. I didn't want to end up giving the wrong card to each birthday gal. It took even longer for her to find a supervisor who could help her. Overall, the visit didn't go very smoothly. I still love HomeGoods, just not this specific store based on the experience last week.

On another occasion during the day & the lines were long", doesn't anyone work anymore!. Just yesterday I had a $45 order, all I had was a hundred on me, the cashier asked if I had something smaller, I did not, she called "V" over & she asked the same question, I said NO, sorry. She said I would end up with a bunch of $1's, I said no problem, she came back with like 50 $1's & some $5's - she told the cashier, the RULE is you have to use the $1's first. Well the cashier did not listen to her & gave me $5's. As I was walking out, I swear she went into a victory dance. (Not knowing I got $5's instead of $1's) I am contacting corporate - that was the final straw. Really "Rule", she sounded stupid, that's the RULE. Imagine a manger behaving that way.
