BUYER BEWARE: I put a deposit on a white lacquer desk at this location because they didn't the item I wanted in stock. They assured me that it would arrive in a couple of days but it took a couple of weeks. After they called me to say they had received and built the desk I went to see it in person prior to having it delivered. The desk they showed me was not white lacquer it was just white wood. It had scuff marks, was wobbly, and the drawers would not open and close without excessive force. Carlos- one of the managers told me that would not refund the $100 deposit for the damaged desk. I am so upset by this type of customer service. I wish so badly I had read the other yelp reviews prior to going into that store. I found them via another furniture site saying they were a distributor. Do your homework. Look at the other yelp reviews and don't get scammed. It's worth paying a little more anywhere else. Prices are fine selection is fine. If you want to be treated terrible by the owner than come here. Terrible rude man works here. I am helping my wife start a staging company. She bought a table set for her first job and didn't like the set she picked out. The next day we tried to return it to purchase a more expensive set of better quality. He would take this set back because he claimed it was now damaged. I don't dispute that it is possible that the table got damaged. I'm not sure if we took it that way or if in fact we damaged it but it was never taken out of its original packaging. Had it been packaged more professionally there wouldn't of been any mark on the table. To be honest were not even too upset about the fact that at the end of the day he wouldn't take it back but his attitude and his rude mannerism towards my wife and I is this something I could tolerate. The piece wasn't that much money so we ended up just taking it. He made a bit of money by not returning this piece but he will lose a lot more because we will never make any future purchases with him. The mattress we bought was broken in less than 2 months we had a warranty. When we called to tell them the mattress broke & we were told to just bring it in & they'll exchange it. We bring the mattress in and were told they have to send the mattress to the factory for them to "check it" & find why it was defective before they sent out the replacement. The jest of it was we weren't going to have a bed for 2 weeks. We offered to buy a better mattress & pay the difference & we were told no. Don't waste your time or money here, you'll be sorely disappointed by the quality of their merchandise. This time around, we bought an amazing loft bed for our son, which he adores. The bed itself is fantastically solid and wonderful quality, the mattress is incredibly comfortable, and every piece of the package was well-priced. However, again what stood out to us was the exceptionally high level of service we received. We initially spoke with Alberto in the showroom, who was incredibly genuine and kind, and found that the level of service remained high throughout the process, from the selection and order process right through to delivery and set-up. Again, I highly recommend Furniture Corner on Sherman Way. If you are looking for furniture in the West Valley and you don't come here, you could well be doing yourself a disservice. I purchased an American Eagle Brown Leather Sectional Sofa/Chaise with Adjustable Headrest and a lift top coffee table from Furniture Corner. The design of the sofa and chaise was attractive with orange stitching and comfortable with the adjustable headrests. Unfortunately the materials on the sofa and chaise began to crack not too long after I purchased them. Being leather I would have expected it to last for a while before cracking. When I brought this to the attention of Furniture Corner they advised that only the top of the sofa was leather. Shortly after that the leather top began to crack and paper thin pieces would fall off the surface. The leather was so thin on top of the cloth backing that when you get off the couch the backing under the leather gives much more than the leather does which causes the thin layer of leather to crack and separate from the backing. I tried working with Furniture Corner for a long time during which they were working with their rep from American Eagle. Eventually when they couldn't get a response they asked me to work directly with their American Eagle Representative Alberto. Alberto was not helpful stringing me on for weeks at a time saying he was working the factory to see if he could get materials. After MONTHS passed he dropped ONE pillow off at Furniture Corner made from the same material so I could try to employ an upholstery repair company to try to fix the sofa. By this time the sofa was out of warranty. When I went to Furniture Corner to pick up the one pillow instead of showing any empathy, when I asked for the one pillow for material they said "Oh your famous caller who keeps calling us". When I asked if Silvia, the person who I purchased the unit from and the one I had been speaking with originally was in, he said yes she's in the back and she already knows you're here. I've since learned a lot about the different qualities of leather so I won't make the same mistake again. However, after buying furniture from a retail store I would expect if there was a problem with the product they would work with the company they purchased it from instead of sending their customer to work with their suppliers representative after they had no luck working with him. I would also expect the sales staff to be a little less hostile toward their customer after the sale was made. They were friendly enough during the sale but after that the tone changed. After going to MANY furniture stores looking for a couch in time for the holidays, we found it here! We walked in and Natalia helped us right away. We were looking for a particular style / size and when we saw similar in the store, but not exact, Natalia took out the catalog and we actually bought from a photo! Natalia told us that the store made the decision during covid not to sell any items which were not available for immediate delivery, what a relief, considering we had a terrible experience with Ashley Furniture in August and waited close to 8 weeks, calling constantly for status updates, for furniture we were told was in stock... Worth mentioning - Natalia went the extra mile, setting us up with the 0 percent financing special and calling Synchrony to ensure it all went through. The couches were delivered within a week as promised and are absolutely perfect for what we need. Our home has front porch stairs (not easy to maneuver) and the delivery guys were equally as lovely - polite, quickly set up the couches and taking away the old couch. (We had organized with Natalia paying $100 to take away the old couch, which was absolutely worth it.) Store carries exactly what you will find in any other furniture store, at a better value. Side note: in redoing the house this fall we've run all over for furniture and have a good feel for what's available at what price. We had run all over for a bedroom set and ended up at Ikea, wish we had shopped here first so we didn't have DIY / TaskRabbit fees, etc. We were VERY pleased with the experience and highly recommend. read more
