"Lost on Furniture... Found by Daniel at Mattress World"…read more **Rating:** (10/10) I recently moved into a new home, and for a long time, I'd been living with virtually no furniture. I searched everywhere--online especially--but ordering something you can't actually see or feel always felt risky. So there I was, still empty-handed, and it was starting to really get to me. Then, on a trip to LA, I spotted Mattress World on Sherman Way in Canoga Park. On a whim, I walked in--and I'm so glad I did. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a wide variety of beautiful furniture pieces. But the real surprise? The store manager, Daniel. In a matter of seconds, this man untangled every knot in my brain. I had no idea what I wanted. No clue about color schemes. Honestly, I was completely lost. Daniel didn't just help me--he *solved* my problem. He was informative, patient, professional, and genuinely lovely to talk to. What could have been an overwhelming experience turned into a genuinely enjoyable one. he was such a fantastic salesman that yes, I did end up buying a lot. But here's the thing--I didn't feel pushed, rushed, or pressured. I felt *guided*. Daniel is a true asset to your company. He's knowledgeable, personable, and incredibly likable. He even took the time to show me the books and walk me through everything. He deserves recognition for the work he does--and if you're reading this, I sincerely hope this message reaches the head honchos, because this man deserves a raise. If you're looking for a place where you can see and feel quality furniture without the high-pressure tactics, I highly recommend Mattress World in Canoga Park. And if you're lucky enough to get Daniel, you're in the best hands possible. Thank you, Daniel. I'm so grateful for your help--you truly made my day. BTW, I've slept like a baby, turns out to be the most comfortable bed I've ever owned. Best store EVERRRRRR!

We gave it two months to try to adjust, and during that time realized the bed felt different on each side of it. We called the store, as we suspected that we were delivered a previously returned mattress, but were ensured that it was a new mattress. I'm still not sure to this day that it was. We later also called to inform that the bed did not perform and feel as in store, only to receive no response. Clearly, they didn't want to make the situation better and simply gave up on making the experience right. For what it's worth, we bought a bed here many years ago, and it turned out rather great. But, this experience has completely soured our taste, as the customer service (and standing behind the product they sell) has greatly deteriorated. We have since bought a new bed from a different store, and now have to dispose of the mattress we bought here. Awful experience and could not recommend less.

He never rushed us or pressured us into making a purchase, which made the entire shopping experience so comfortable. He was patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer every question we had. We were so impressed that we had already left him a glowing Google review before our mattress was even delivered. Unfortunately, when our mattress arrived, my husband noticed it had a defect. We contacted Ramin, and once again he exceeded our expectations. He was understanding, genuinely apologetic, and immediately took the initiative to have a replacement sent out. His professionalism and customer service were outstanding. When our replacement mattress arrived, we had the pleasure of meeting Richard and Joey. They were absolutely fantastic! I'm someone who likes to jump in and help, but they kindly insisted that I relax while they took care of everything. They worked efficiently, were extremely respectful of our home, and made the entire process stress-free. What truly impressed me was that they noticed another item we had purchased--our bed frame with built-in lights--hadn't been assembled correctly by another company. They took it upon themselves to figure it out, realized nothing was broken, and completed the installation for us. Richard & Joey went completely above and beyond what was expected, and I was incredibly grateful. We often take the time to write reviews when something goes wrong, but it's just as important to recognize people who genuinely care about their customers. Richard and Joey didn't just light up our bedroom with our new bed--they truly brightened our day with their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help. Their positive attitudes and exceptional work ethic left a lasting impression. Thank you, Ramin, Richard, and Joey, for providing customer service that is becoming harder and harder to find. Your kindness, integrity, and dedication did not go unnoticed. We absolutely love our mattress, and because of the outstanding service we received from every step of the process, we will gladly recommend your company to our family and friends.

This kind of box is very hard to find, I have been looking for a couple of years so I know. Fortunately, mattress firm has it for an almost reasonable price. Paul helped us. Delivery happened today and went smoothly. We appreciate the service we received in this location.

Wow. I rarely leave reviews, especially negative ones, but the sales associate in this store was so…read morerude just now that I feel compelled to comment. My 5 and 2 yo boys were being admittedly irritating in this store. (I mean, they're 5 and 2. Mattresses shopping.) But regardless, it was completely inappropriate for the sales associate to mutter under his breath (but plenty loud enough for me to hear), "These f***ing kids." Such a remark was especially appalling given how he'd just been telling us of his own children and grandchildren...so he's clearly met a child before. So of course I got extremely embarrassed, but decided to carry on. So a couple minutes later, when my kids started fighting (again, admittedly very irritating, but we were the only customers in the store so we're not exactly scaring people away), I grabbed my toddler and said "We need to go!" To which the sales associate exclaimed--with no subtlety--"Please!" He did not even say goodbye as we left the store. Needless to say, we won't be coming back to this store to buy the mattress we obviously still need. Mattress stores aren't exactly hard to come by--we will look elsewhere once we figure out our childcare situation.

He was actually kind of rude about it because we didn't want to pay an extra $40 to put the handles on a dresser ourselves. It was almost like he was calling us cheap for not doing it. The lady on the floor who was helping us before he came over was nice and helpful. Selection here is ok, not a lot in the kids section or patio section. This place is great if you are looking for a matching bed set or a faux fireplace that turns disco colors. I do like their little cafe that has complimentary snacks, ice cream and coffee. That's a nice touch. The worst part of the experience is that the measurements on the tag of the furniture we bought was wrong. It said "12.75 deep" but it's actually 15.75 deep. Needless to say, we'll likely be returning the item because it won't fit in our space. Wish we had known to save ourselves the trouble. Delivery was easy and communication was great. We'll see how the return process goes...

I ended up falling completely in love with it. I honestly can't tell you what a difference that little pillow made for my sleep and comfort. Of course, I immediately had to know where she got it. Later, we went to the mall and she showed me the Tempur-Pedic store in Topanga Canyon where she bought it. Before I left town, I went BACK to the mall and got one for myself! Was it more than I normally spend on a little travel pillow? Absolutely. But after sleeping on it all week, I already knew it was totally worth the price. Sometimes you don't realize you need something until you try it and now I'm officially that person who travels with her Tempur-Pedic pillow! Five stars for a little pillow that made such a BIG difference!
