Go on their SLEEP MACHINE. It's cool and it really works. -Invest in the moveable bed base. Although it will make you feel like an old person because of all the ridiculous commercials we watched on TV as kids, it reallly is life changing. -Call and make sure Adam Serrano is working that day to help you. He is ahhhhmazing and so full of mattress/sleep/pillow knowledge, your head will explode from all the useful information you will learn from him. Best guy ever and super easy going to work with. Maybe my timing to visit this store wasn't right! I visited during the labor day sale! Not a great brand variety of mattresses! The sales person, who was courteous and attentive, gave me some generic explanations about mattresses. Then a machine picked the degree of firmness for me, but I basically had to go around the store trying to find something that felt right, nothing did! I would have preferred a more personalized approach when the sales person asks my needs and points me to a couple of high quality mattresses I can choose from. We purchased this Serta mattress from Sit'n Sleep at Santa Clarita. The product had a strong fabric smell. We gave it couple weeks so the smell subsides; it did not!! Now after 4 weeks, we called in the Sit'n Sleep location at Santa Clarita and told to call the customer service. We called the customer service and we were told that an associate will call back. It has been a week and we gave not received a phone call. I promise I will update this posting if this issue is resolved. read more

This is an updated review that I previously wrote about our buying experience at the Northridge store. We used the bed there that was supposed to gague what our best mattress would be. We ended up purchasing one, but after 7-8 months, the bed had a sizeable sinking area under where each of us slept, leaving a ridge up the center. It was a full-size bed, so there wasn't a lot of "wiggle room". It was incredibly uncomfortable and started aggravating my back. I sent them a text message, and they sent some kid out to "test" the mattress for compression, but the verdict after waiting 3 or so weeks (and they didn't notify me; I had to phone the store) was that there was no sagging in the mattress. No way! We ended-up having to buy another mattress only after having the mattress a few years. That's a major expense. My advice is to BE CAREFUL!!! My husband thinks we were victims of a "bait and switch", but we didn't have the delivery slip to compare with the invoice. Just be very careful not to be railroaded into buying the wrong mattress. read more

My wife and I came here to look at mattress because we're thinking about getting a new one. The sales person who helped us was Lisa and she was amazing. It was our first time visiting a Sit N Sleep so she recommend that we go to the bed match where you'll answer some questions about your sleeping habits and then lay on the bed so it can determine what mattress suit you best. I was in the blue range and my wife was in the green range so the computer recommended a blue grading mattress. They had some good options but my wife likes the red grading mattress because it was more firm. Lisa was amazing on telling us how soon a delivery can happen and the process of it. We recently stopped by this location and didn't do any research before hand on what we wanted. When we entered the store we were immediately greeted with a friendly greeting and told that we will be assisted momentarily. I do not recall his name, but he is the gentleman that is bald (sorry that's the feature I remember most). He gave us clear communication as well, because there were other customers and he did let me know that Chris will be helping us both- which I wasn't expecting, and it was nice to know we were not overlooked. My husband and I had a great experience with Sit 'n Sleep while shopping for our new bed. The real star of the show was Karen, she was kind, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She greeted us and had us try their special bed that provides insight into how much support you need. She then took us around the store and had us try a number of mattresses. Not once was she pushy and the mattresses she showed covered a variety of price points. In the end we purchased a mattress, mattress cover, and new pillows. We showed her the bed frame we planned to purchase and she provided great insight about the height of our mattress + the bed headboard. She mentioned the headboard may not show much due to the low height of the frame and our 14 inch mattress. I really appreciate her warning because once we did the math, we realized we'd have only seen 4 inches and it would have been a waste to splurge on that headboard. I purchased 2 mattresses after my bad experience at the Tarzana sit n sleep..... they put me on a machine and the machine picks the mattress for you it was to firm they told me to have my grandson jump on the mattress for 4 months and it would soften up ...... I bought a new mattress and I had to pay a restocking fee of 500.00 dollars and this mattress isn't much better than the first one!! Now after I have spent all this money 3000 thousand 200 hundred dollars ... they told me to buy a topper from Amazon for 100 hundred dollars!!
