You can try any of the online brands. If they don't have a model, they can get a twin for you to try out. There was also zero pressure or upselling, just thoughtful advice. We ended up buying their in-house brand, which feels comfortably soft but still supportive. When my husband moves, my side doesn't turn into a slope (great partner isolation!). We also spent much less than we expected and left feeling really good about supporting a local business.

Mike never tried to upsell us anything crazy and has a very good sense for what his customers want/need. The first bed we bought did not work out for us so we ended up doing an exchange. Mike was great with the exchange in addition to the initial sale. My only word of advice is to fully understand the exchange policy and costs as the restocking fee is steep, especially if you've bought an expensive mattress to begin with. In addition to the great service, what we really liked about going to Sit N Sleep is the wide selection. We also visited Saatva in our quest to buy a new mattress, and while their prices and quality are good, their selection is somewhat limited.

I really appreciate family owned businesses, and try to frequent non-"box" stores whenever possible. I felt the customer service was genuine & superior to other stores, which matters when you are spending a lot of money on an item that will not only be part of your everyday life, but may essentially improve it!
