My primary visit is to check their Personal Care and Beauty aisle. It was disappointing. They have a few selections and needs restocking. Plenty of shelves are empty. None caught my eye. I moved to another aisle, and I ended up at the Room/Bathroom/Kitchen supplies. I found 2pairs of black out curtains and a full size bedding on sale. For me, it was a good deal. I will definitely use them with this hot weather!!! At the register, the cashier double punch one item. Good thing I caught it before leaving the store. We were able to resolve the issue with out having to call the manager or supervisor. It was a good shopping experience. No public facility. Ample parking that is shared with other businesses. read more

There's been a couple of times i've been here, it's very disappointing how all workers here have been rude and their costumer service is disrespectful! One of them pretends to not understand customers to make them struggle with their pronunciation. It seemed like he was making fun of customer's accent. Do not expect the managers of this places to be someone educated, willing to understand your problems, or solve them. we go there, we shuffle the racks endlessly, for a very long time. As I was leaving they started telling me that they collect bags by the front and I told them nobody asked for my bag and I was never told about policy. The worse customer service ever!!! Not only was the manager janette rude, she had no enthusiasm whatsoever. Hair wasn't combed,nonchalant, tacky, and unprofessional. Sad thing is that people are going through things in the world, and she made the experience bad for my aunt who supports all the DD's in Southern California. To the general manager talk to her asap!! Awhile ago I bought a little round table for my daughter room, I have a vase with some flowers in it my sister said you need a table like the one you bought your daughter take it off the floor I go to ALL the dd"s I love them but didn't see another one my sister go to more add"s than I do told me to go to this one she saw some there she live out there they had one with no price but looked as if it had been ran over but I was going to see if I could change with my daughter went to the register asked for the manager & janette said she was the manager looked quickly in the computer said it not in the computer saw a bigger one on the floor in good shape & said that one is a little bigger for 14.00 so I would have to give it to you at that I told her I bought this one for 7.99 but after I got home my daughter still has the tag on it & I bought it a long time ago but I paid 8.99 so 1st it was lumpy & smaller but she wanted me to pay 14.00 go figure so sad the customer service you get today & common sense they are hiring anyone now here are pictures of the one they were selling in the store & my daughter with the receipt still attached, read more

The worse customer service have ever seen in the US. What had happened with my Mom today is unacceptable. The sale person and the manger were rude and didn't have any respect to elderly people. I came because I wanted to express my deepest appreciation to this locations staff. I had picked up a skirt, which was originally suppose to be a two piece set...something told me to ask if they'd still sell it to me, but I assumed and kept shopping....so hours later right, I'm at the register and they don't sell it like that. Not even discounted, even though that's what ended up happening. So anywho my frustration came quick because I was already in the store for hours and I was tired and hungry right...but let me express how patient and calm Diana was, who was on the register, she definitely deserves to be recognized. How she handled the situation was perfect. Her calmness inevitably calmed me. Then the manager Janette stepped in to help and she too, made sure I was okay, and satisfied and assured me that everything was okay...cause by then I was embarrassed... she even gave me a hug...So all in all I just wanted to come and say THANK YOU!!! thank you for understanding I too, am human and for doing all that you could to make me feel better. I just love DD's! Their prices are awesome and the service is all I need. Wutz a'matter you?! It's a discount store! They've got shoes for $4.99! And they AREN'T USED!!!! Some of the people bashing this place act like they got screwed at Nordstroms or something! Marisol is the best Assistant Store Manager on the face of the earth and I so miss that older, skinny fellow who used to run the store when they first opened. They have the most terrible customer service! The fitting room lady was so rude! She took forever checking my items. She wanted to see if all the items had a tag and asked me to hang the stuff on the hangers and turn them inside out just like I found them so she could just put them on the floor. I came for a quick outfit for an event I had last minute. I didn't have time to do her job for her. She didn't even speak English. She was so rude and disrespectful towards me and she gave me the dirtiest look when I didn't hang the items correctly. Please train your employees on customer service. This store just opened and was my first time going to a DD's discount. As my mother and I were looking through the luggage, we asked an employee if she could help us and she completely ignored us! As we continued to call her to get her attention, she snapped at us very rudely and told us to hold on one second. Needless to say we told her we didn't need her help anymore and asked for her name which was Tina. We went to ask someone else for help that was from loss prevention and she was super helpful and friendly! We told her about our bad experience and asked her who the manager was, and was appalled to know that Tina was the assistant manager! No one should get treated the way Tina the assistant manager treated us. 10/10 do not recommend this store as long as Tina "the assistant manager" works there! This isn't the first dd's I've been to, I currently live in Florida and before flying home to California I went to dd's for a suitcase (they seriously have the best prices). When we were getting ready to head back to Florida we needed more suitcases lol and thankfully after yelping it, I was surprised that there was this location in California as well as another one not far from me! Overall they kept the store clean and decently organized. My reasoning behind not giving them 5 stars is because the employees there made me feel really uncomfortable. Besides them not being helpful at all! As well as giving this attitude as if I was annoying them when I asked to see inside a suitcase (they lock them so you can't open them). There was one male associate (who was not their little security anti theft guy) who literally followed me around the store. I am not even exaggerating. It got to the point where when I was looking at suitcases I had the shopping cart with my daughter in it and he was just standing in front of my cart where I had to verbally out load ask him to move! And then still had to move my cart around him! There were also times where I would be looking at shirts on the racks and as I was taking my hand off one shirt to push it down to look at the next he already had his hand on the same shirt I was letting go of and acting as if he was just readjusting it on the hanger!!! He made me feel like i was being watched so I didn't steal something! He just made me ridiculously uncomfortable! I even got fed up to the point where I asked him if I could freaking help him with something, and he looked at me like "how dare I" and with a stern attitude told me "I'm just doing my job"! After that incident I wen to the one on Sherman way. Which that location sucks lol their store is dirty and complete unkept. Thankfully I'm back in Florida and don't have to deal with that again. Though the prices are unbeatable, the feeling I felt after my personal space was openly disrespected and then verbally disrespected, it's not even worth returning to this particular location. read more

Fitting room attendant was rude. I went to try on some shorts that I found draped over a clothes rack and the fitting room attendant rudely told me that I needed to put shorts on a hanger. I told her that I found them like that and she let me through but when I left she told me again about the hanger. As I walked away she told a co worker that I didn't bring in the hanger and they said some remark which I didn't understand. Today was our first time visiting DD's. So we walk in and the store is a complete mess. Horrible. We get some toys and this cute hamper. The hamper was the very last one but it was so dirty. Someone had dragged it and it had a foot print. So it's time to pay for our stuff. The cashier Ana (curly hair) was horrible. No customer service what so ever. Lazy, extremely lazy, even to talk. So we asked her if they had anymore mermaid hampers and she responds with "i don't know" we all were silent for a bit waiting for her to say something else. Then i asked if she could check. She says "if you didn't see anymore there's no more" okay. So then i asked if there could be some sort of discount for it. She said " i don't know" like hello ask! So she's just standing there. Then Ricky the LP guy steps in and asked her to call Janet i think that was her name. The manager. So he calls it in and the "Manager" comes in and another one with horrible attitude and customer service. Total sass while talking to us and gives us 10%. Cool not mad at 10% but have some respect for your customers. I think this place needs to seriously retrain their employees. If these woman hate their jobs so much they should quit. This store is WHACK. I gave 2 stars only because I can always depend on DD's when I need to run in REAL quick and buy a plain blouse or jacket to wear out on Saturday night and not spend a lot of money. Other then that I have a few issues. A week ago I went in and purchased a pair of the cutest olive green mid high boots, a matching olive green knit sweater and some jeans. The employees are not very welcoming or helpful. The LINES ARE ALWAYS LONG bc they only have 1 person on the register. While waiting in line I noticed that the clerk was LITERALLY balling up people's clothes throwing them in the bag. Then yelling "Next Costumer " before she even finished the transaction and handed the customer their change. WTF lol that was RUDE as hell. When it was my turn she proceeded to ball up my clothes as she did the other customers. I asked if she could not do that and fold them up and this lady had the nerve to say "We don't fold the clothes bc we don't have time and we are told to throw them in the bag" I'M THINKING IS SHE SERIOUS. I ask for manager and sure enough she confirmed that was true, said they don't have time and instructed me to complain to corporate... I have never noticed they did that and I think thhst is tacky as hell and it makes the employees look LAZY AF!!! Why does the customers PAID FOR ITEMS have ty o be wrinkled before they are even worn. Crazy.p GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER DD's. Go that extra mile and just fold it in half and stick it in the bag.. smh read more
